Ha Ji Won-Bae Doo Na on Stills from “Korea”

The stills from new movie “Korea” were unveiled, showing the main characters: Hyeon Jeong Hwa (played by Ha Ji Won) and Lee Boon Hee (Bae Doo Na). From their expression can be seen that as athletes  they are really serious and passionate to fight for their country. Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na looked convincing as table tennis athletes since they both got table tennis training before the production and during the production. Their skills may be as good as the any other athlete.

Both actresses are usual with physical training. When she was young, Bae Doo Na was known as table tennis athlete, she’s very talented. And for Ha Ji Won, it’s too easy  make her to sweating, right? She learns quickly and she also has skill as professional athlete.

Besides that picture, there’s also another still which showed Ha Ji Won while training one-on-one with the real national table tennis athlete , Hyeon Jeong Hwa. On that picture as if Ha Ji Won  was transformed into the real athlete and became serious and concentrate receiving  instructions from her coach.

Because this movie tells about her, besides training and visiting them often on location,  Hyeon Jeong Hwa also gives some advices and more supports for them.  “Korea” is based on true story,  tells about Hyeon Jeong Hwa’s participation on China International Table Tennis Championship on 1991, one of the rare moments that can make South and North became together.

“Korea” planned to be released on the first half of this year, so maybe on early spring. Besides Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na, this movie also featuring Oh Jung Se, Han Ye Ri, Choi Yoon Yeong and Park Yeong Seo.
