For this spring the OST Queen, Baek Ji Yeong, brings two good things. Last week she announced that she will marry her younger boyfriend, Jung Suk Won in June. Then this week she showcase her voice for soundtrack of Number 1 Monday-Tuesday drama “Gu Family Book”.

Baek Ji Yeong sings ballad song “Spring Rain”, this is for Choi Kang Chi and Yeo Wool (Suzy) theme. As always, Baek Ji Yeong’s voice makes this song has power and dramatic. The MV was also released and it shows mostly the couple moments. They look so cute together. Through this drama Lee Seung Gi and Suzy officially become the favorite drama couple for this spring…

I love when spring comes and i’m happier today (March 4th) since Davichi released MV of their new song “Turtle” (거북이) from part.1 of their second official album “Mystic Ballad 1990” for welcoming the spring season.

For this single, Davichi hold their ballad power because “Turtle” sounds pop  and light but still catchy. Even though the lyric is a bit sad but this time Davichi appear girly, especially for the MV. I love the concept of this MV. Hyoyeong (Hwayeong’s twin sister) looks pretty and adorable like a doll.

Meanwhile, the other songs from part 2 of the album will be released on March 20th.

Yesung, our OST prince, once again shows off his angelic voice through SBS melodrama “That Winter, The Wind Blows”. Yesung sings pop ballad song, “Gray Paper” (먹지), his label sonbae (senior), Kangta, also gave some help for this project. Kangta is the lyric writer,  composer, and producer for this song.

“Gray Paper” describes the bitter love line between main couple, Oh Yeong (Song Hye Kyo) and Oh Soo (Jo In Sung).  The drama has a beautiful look and sound with the casts and the soundtrack, and frankly just because Jo In Sung i try to watch this melodrama, but too bad the story is so bleak. Maybe i can bear the sorrowful story because at least Jo In Sung always gorgeous here.

After two episodes aired, Song Hye Kyo and Jo In Sung’s deep acting were amazing. They both look so perfect as couple. For crying scene, I always give Jo In Sung two thumbs up.

Everything is really delicious from Clazziquai, on February 5th this trio released MV of “Love Recipe”. This song is one of their songs from their 5th album “Blessed”. Once again, Horan, Alex and DJ Clazzi managed to rise our music appetite through their work.

I’m addicted to Horan’s voice, her voice is calming and hypnotize, and i fell in love since the first time i heard Alex’s. One day i want to marry his voice. “Love Recipe” sounds so warm and light, with the beautiful lyrics this song is a perfect appetizer. Meanwhile the simple MV is so tempting and makes me hungry…

Sorry if its too late, but it’s too perfect to be missed. My favorite female singer, Baek Ji Yeong, comes back with ballad song for this winter, “I Hate It” (싫다). The song was released on early January. No doubt for her voice, once again, she sings with heart.

This beautiful song sounds more melodious with Yiruma’s play, as like as Baek Ji Yeong, Yiruma is known as a pianist who also gives contribution for so many drama soundtracks. Two tumbs up for their great collaboration. love it…

I just wanna share one of my pleasures for this week. I think it’s called love at the first sight. First time i saw Lee Seung Gi’s latest MV “Invitation To Me”,  I just fall in love for everything in this MV: the music, the song, the nuance, the landscapes, the simple idea, and of course the singer. I love his first single from his latest album that tells about recalling first love “Returns”,  but due to the MV i love this song more, because i’m really pleased seeing the smiling Seung Gi in here.

In this MV Lee Seung Gi appears so charming and he always smiling. He shows off his natural side and that makes him looks so stunning and adorable. The song sounds so calm and warm, so perfect for this cruel winter. Just like other songs on “Forest” album,  “Invitation To Me” is also collaboration song with Epitone Project.

The MV just focuses on Lee Seung Gi when he enjoys himself on countryside, as if he is on vacation alone. He’s just wearing casual outfit when he’s doing some normal activities. He is playing around at ranch, walking alone on the beach, stopping by at local bookstore, reading a book while enjoying the sunlight, having fun at amusement park, and being friendly with the local..what a wonderful vacation…

As always, the beautiful song and the beautiful MV from “Standing Egg”. On October 26th, one of my favorite indie bands, Standing Egg, released MV for their single “A Perfect Day”.

This song is part of “Forest Project”. “Forest Project” is to bring the relax and refreshing atmosphere to the citizen who live in the middle of building forest on these hectic and crowded cities.

I’ve been always in a dilemma every Wednesday and Thursday of which drama I should watch. Arang and Magistrate has reached episode 13-14 this week and the story is getting more and more interesting. Ahh too bad I cannot watch it live because I decided to make the quick summary for “Nice Guy”.

And these days, I’m happy that finally this drama has Baek Ji Yeong‘s voice for their soundtrack. I’ve been listening to both of the songs that lately came out as the scoring background of many scenes in this drama. And now i’m gonna post Lee JunKi’s song. Ahh, especially now after Magistrate Kim has confessed his feelings towards Arang  Really hope for a happy ending for this one.

On September 4th, one of my favorite indie band, Standing Egg, released new single. Actually, on mid June they already released the cheery single “Keep Going” (I love the MV and lyrics!), but for this comeback, the trio are presenting quite mellow song, titled “Old Song” (오래된 노래). This song sounds little bit ballad, but (still) light.  In the first week this song managed to stand high on Korean music charts.

Besides “Keep Going”, I also recommend this song for this September. For me this song is romantic but not cheesy. These days i never get bored hearing “Old Song”, sounds smooth and makes relaxed and peaceful. I think this song is so perfect to close the vibrant summer beautifully, and  i’m ready to welcome the autumn…
