For this spring the OST Queen, Baek Ji Yeong, brings two good things. Last week she announced that she will marry her younger boyfriend, Jung Suk Won in June. Then this week she showcase her voice for soundtrack of Number 1 Monday-Tuesday drama “Gu Family Book”.

Baek Ji Yeong sings ballad song “Spring Rain”, this is for Choi Kang Chi and Yeo Wool (Suzy) theme. As always, Baek Ji Yeong’s voice makes this song has power and dramatic. The MV was also released and it shows mostly the couple moments. They look so cute together. Through this drama Lee Seung Gi and Suzy officially become the favorite drama couple for this spring…

Yesung, our OST prince, once again shows off his angelic voice through SBS melodrama “That Winter, The Wind Blows”. Yesung sings pop ballad song, “Gray Paper” (먹지), his label sonbae (senior), Kangta, also gave some help for this project. Kangta is the lyric writer,  composer, and producer for this song.

“Gray Paper” describes the bitter love line between main couple, Oh Yeong (Song Hye Kyo) and Oh Soo (Jo In Sung).  The drama has a beautiful look and sound with the casts and the soundtrack, and frankly just because Jo In Sung i try to watch this melodrama, but too bad the story is so bleak. Maybe i can bear the sorrowful story because at least Jo In Sung always gorgeous here.

After two episodes aired, Song Hye Kyo and Jo In Sung’s deep acting were amazing. They both look so perfect as couple. For crying scene, I always give Jo In Sung two thumbs up.

I’ve been always in a dilemma every Wednesday and Thursday of which drama I should watch. Arang and Magistrate has reached episode 13-14 this week and the story is getting more and more interesting. Ahh too bad I cannot watch it live because I decided to make the quick summary for “Nice Guy”.

And these days, I’m happy that finally this drama has Baek Ji Yeong‘s voice for their soundtrack. I’ve been listening to both of the songs that lately came out as the scoring background of many scenes in this drama. And now i’m gonna post Lee JunKi’s song. Ahh, especially now after Magistrate Kim has confessed his feelings towards Arang  Really hope for a happy ending for this one.

Ali opened the SBS fantasy drama “Faith” (신의)  with the song “Carry On.” Her strong voice makes this song sounds epic and heroic. She sang really good for another fantasy drama “Rooftop Prince” and once again through this song she proves herself that she deserves to be called as the next soundtrack queen following Baek Ji Yeong and Gummy.

“Faith” managed to make Kim Hee Sun came back to small screen, and makes Lee Min Ho became so mighty. But actually, i’m still not familiar with those special effects, i prefer looking Lee Min Ho fight as a “simply a guy” in city hunter…

Shin Min Ah contributed on her recent drama “Arang And Magistrate” soundtrack. On this second part, she sings “Black Moon” (까만달), a very mellow song. This song is so beautiful, with her lovely voice Shin Min Ah sings quite well, but frankly sometimes i feel creepy every time i hear this song, especially when i recall her role on this drama, as a ghost.

Beside her song on the track list, there’s also song from Yoon Do Hyun, title “My Secret Dream” (나.비.꿈), as if for balancing Shin Min ah’s mellow song, “My Secret Dream” sounds more beat and dynamics.

Here I post the complete Gentleman’s Dignity OST. Gentleman’s Dignity has been one of the hottest dramas this summer. Although I don’t have any more time to write summary for this drama, it’s definitely my favorite weekend drama. This drama is just great with the whole package: casts, story line, dialogues…and of course original soundtrack.

Gong Yoo’s voice for “Big” soundtrack is one of few good things for me lately. It was too bad that I missed “Big” Episode 15 just because i had a cruel and terrible Monday..ah…I can’t curse Monday, what a love-hate relationship with Mmonday. whatever..

Thank goodness, my agonies has cured by Gong Yoo’s voice on “Big” soundtrack. He sings male version of “Because It’s You”. Can’t  get bored listening to his voice in this song, so pure, and tender. I like DaVichi version, sounds mellow,  but i chose Gong Yoo’s version into my playlist, with his voice this song sounds more touching and emotional.

Frankly, eventhough this song quite sad, i’m smiling every time listening this song and recalling on my favorite scene from “Coffee Prince” (2007) when Choi Han Gyeol (Gong Yoo) made a wake-up calling for Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye), he was singing Han Dong Jung’s “I love You” , oh Gong Yoo-ssi, how could we are not fall in love  for you.

I got read Rizz’s summary, episode 15 wasn’t a good enough situation for Kang Kyeong Joon and Gil Da Ran, but i hope for one more episode there will be miracles for them, including Seo Yoon Jae and Jang Ma Ri. As I know Hong’s sisters aren’t the type of ‘mean’ writers, instead they are usually really generous to the viewers.

KBS’s high budget drama, “Bridal Mask” released more soundtracks, after UlalaSession and 4Man, this time female singer Gavy Nj was trusted to sing “After The Sun” for soundtrack par.3. The song was released on July 12 as the episode 14 running. The song sounds touching and Gavy’s voice makes this song more emotional.

This song is the theme for the heroine Mok Dam (Jin Se Yeon).. I love the drama when the female character becomes brave and passionate.

Frankly, i have a bad feeling about the ending of this drama, since the setting was the gloomiest era for Korea, the Japanese colonial. But Ms/Mr writer and director, we need the candy these days, at least give a bit happiness for our freedom fighters, Mok Dan and Kang To.

4Men (Yeong Jae, Shin Yong Jae, Kim Won Joo) finally come back to drama project, after singing for “Secret Garden” soundtrack in 2010. This time these three guys sing “I Couldn’t” (안되겠더라) for high budget drama “Bridal Mask” (Gaksital).

No doubt for their voices on this powerful song. “I Couldn’t” is not too different from “Goodbye  Day” by UlalaSession on soundtrack part.1, sounds ballad at first but in the middle until the end the music is more dynamic and powerful, but still sounds emotional.

Until episode 10, “Bridal Mask” is getting tense and complicated, actually for Kang To and Shonji. For Shonji, actually i don’t understand why he changed, from the warm person becomes quite stern. I know he was really sad when his brother died, but i think it’s   the complicated feelings inside him between avenging his brother and protecting Mok Dan.

“I Couldn’t” is the theme for the triangle love between Kang To, Mok Dan, and Shonji. Frankly, i think it is a cruel idea  to put these best friends and first loves to be tangled between unconditional love, deep friendship and unforgettable hatred. I hope there will be a nice ending for them.
