Finally Joo Won has got his lady, on October 23rd Choi Kang Hee has confirmed her role as heroine on “Secret Agent War” or “Secret Lover” (비밀남녀전).

For the detail, Choi Kang Hee will play as Kim Seo Won, a brainy special agent. She’s also pretty but really tenacious,  independent and hard working woman since she is the main support for her poor family. She is who pays the rent and the siblings’s tuition.  She has a long gap with Gil Ro (Joo Won) a rookie agent who came from wealthy family, spoiled, reckless, and sometimes arrogant. Oh i understand now, why they chose older women for Joo Won, you really need experienced woman to kick ass of a spoiled boy.

Okay, now throw away the prejudice and the gap of their ages, Choi Kang Hee is a class A actress. She will be total on her role as always, and  i think she’s always success building chemistry with her co-star. I hope in this drama with Joo Won she will not make any mistake.  And Joo Won is getting mature on his acting skill. Well actually the opportunity to act alongside Choi Kang Hee is a benefit for him. It will make his skill better and richer.

The drama that inspired from “Level 7 Civil Servant” or “My Girlfriend is Secret Agent” will be produced for 20 episode, and will begin airing on January at MBC.

Joo Won’s next drama “Secret Agent War” is looking for the leading lady, and on October 18th through the agency, Keyeast, Choi Kang Hee, announced that  she is under reviewing the offer. Wow…frankly, this is unpredictable, why they chose Choi Kang Hee for the baby boy like Joo Won? I adore Choi Kang Hee, i think she’s so splendid, and i admit that with her vibrant and confident personalities, Choi Kang Hee always looks younger that her real ages,but mmm…for this case, really i don’t have idea putting her as the lover of  ten years younger boyfriend.

But from her experience and quality, Choi Kang Hee is one of the most eligible actresses to portray this role. She was totally badass on “Protect The Boss”.  if Choi Kang Hee agrees to join on this romantic-action-comedy-drama she will become the heroine who hides her job as the special agent to the public and also her boyfriend, Gil Ro (Joo Won) who’s also the secret agent.

In short, “Secret Agent War” or “Secret Lover” is remake from  Kang Ji Hwan-Kim Ha Neul’s comedy movie “My Girlfriend is Secret Agent (7  Level Civil Servant). This drama is scheduled to begin airing on January 2013 at MBC.

After becoming so heroic on “Bridal Mask”, Joo Won no need more rest time to decide to be back on small screen immediately. On September 28th, his agency has announced that Joo Won will become the leading character on romantic comedy drama “Secret Agent War”. Such in hurry indeed, but i think no one will complain about this, we need to see that cute face often, right?

This spy drama will not take the same line as “IRIS” or “Athena.” It’s about the new generation secret agent, the drama will be more light and comical, it will remind you of Kang Ji Hwan and Kim Ha Neul’s movie “7  Level Civil Servant”.  Joo Won takes the role as Gil Ro who grows up on a wealthy family makes him become a proud and reckless secret agent. Having James Bond as  role model makes him too confident to run the job but actually almost all his works end so badly, he ruins everything. Then, as the secret agent of course he must hide his real identity to others, including his girlfriend who turns out to be also a secret agent.

I’m really curious about this drama, because as i know, Joo Won always portray the cold, introvert, and cocky person, but on this drama he’s demanded to be different, being more expressive and  comical. Frankly, until now i can’t imagine finding Joo Won as the witty person like Kang Ji Hwan, it will be a challenge for him. Then, for the female lead they haven’t announced the name. I hope they will pick the right actress.

The drama is scheduled to be broadcast at MBC start on January 2013.
