Kim Yeong Joo was dead. Just cried if you like. I always cry even after rewatching it so many times.

Yoon Seong took Yeong Joo’s phone and found a text under his name, City Hunter, telling Yeong Joo to go to the junkyard. He knew it’s his father.

Lee Jin Pyo was going to kill Cheon Jae Man with his own hand. He got a plan and Yoon Seong had no doubt that his father would really kill that man. Jin Pyo showed up in the port. Cheon Jae Man begged for his life, but that’s meaningless for Jin Pyo. Cheon Jae Man was dead.

Yoon Seong opened the classified document and read it through. It explained in detail about what happened on that bleak night on October 1983 at Nampo Water. And the document, of course, showed the names behind the mission. The last person was the President himself, his own father, Choi Eung Chan.

Yoon Seong confronted his father, especially for the death of Yeong Joo. He also warned his father that he couldn’t take revenge to his own father and whatever Jin Pyo plan, he wouldn’t let that happen.

Seo Yeong Hak decided to speak up about what happened on October 1983 and President Choi was the next target of City Hunter. The President then held a press conference regarding Seo’s statement.

It’s a very sad scene in Yeong Joo’s funeral. Everyone was crying for him.

President Choi came to pay his respect. But when Yoon Seong showed up, Prosecutor Jang couldn’t hold his emotion, yelling out at him and blamming him, City Hunter, for killing Kim Yeong Joo even though it’s right in front of the President.

President Choi kind of finaly figured out who Yoon Seong really was. He actually had details about Lee Yoon Seong since he entered the country and the Blue House, and he found some logic connection with the events that had happened in the Blue House and to his poor fellows.
He also got more information from Prosecutor Jang about Yoon Seong’s relationship with Lee Jin Pyo and to the sweep mission on October 1983. And Prosecutor Jang also told him that Lee Yoon Seong was the son of Park Moo Yeol and a woman named Lee Kyeong Hee.

President Choi summoned Yoon Seong. Knowing that young man was actually his son, he had a different look to Yoon Seong. He made matters related to his personal blog as an excuse. Yoon Seong asked the President if what he said in the press conference were true. The President said yes. During his presidency, his focus was on two things: people’s health care and education. They’re all for the greater good. “Even if you took the wrong way to achieve them?” was Yoon Seong’s final question.

Yoon Seong found out that the President did take whatever it takes to pass the private school bills. He was meeting with an assembly man to bribe him to let the bill pass. He promised the assembly man that the prosecutors wouldn’t be able to touch him. Yoon Seong confronted the President right in that spot. He was expressing his disappointment even though the President explained that it was how politics worked. Yoon Seong told him that he had the sealed document and he would make the President regreted his own decision.

Yoon Seong got an info from a senior reporter that President must have a ledger book, a record for his own bribery. So all Yoon Seong needed to do was to find that ledger book. He secretly searched it in President’s study, but surprisingly, he found President Choi himself handed it to him.
President asked him why he did all this. Yoon Seong said because of trust, trust of the people to their representative politicians and the trust the dead soldiers in Nampo water that their nation would protect them. “Protecting that trust, is my great cause.”

President Choi said that he never had a day when he didn’t remember what happened that October 1983. He said he understood Jin Pyo’s pain.

The next thing President said hold Yoon Seong’s steps. “Yoon Seong-a,” he called, “you are living like this, father is very sorry.”

Yoon Seong finaly spread the copy of the sealed documents and the President’s ledger book to the media. In the same time, the private school bill is passed in the national assembly meeting. But out there, the country was shaking by the spread shocking news. The assembly was declaring an impeachment, but the President said he honestly felt free.

Everyone was ready, Yoon Seong and Jin Pyo, especially. Meanwhile the President also look ready. Na Na became more alert.

So here came the D-day. Jin Pyo showed up in front of President, but Yoon Seong stepped forward to stop him. This father and son were pointing gun towards each other. Yoon Seong expressed his true feelings about he had been through and the bleak future that might come after this. “I just wanted to live a normal and happy life with you, Father. But, it’s all a dream.” Yoon Seong pointed the gun to his own head.

President Choi stopped it. Na Na asked Yoon Seong to stop it all. He wouldn’t let Yoon Seong died, but he himself was kind of ready to let Jin Pyo took out his life. Jin Pyo pulled the trigger, but Yoon Seong took the bullet for his real father. Na Na had no choice but to shoot Jin Pyo.

There’s no other end for Jin Pyo. He declared to the bodyguards that he’s City Hunter, the only survivor from Nampo Water sweep mission, and he came to take revenge of that to all 5 people, including the President. He slid down the bullet from his gun and then point it to the guards, it’s a suicide. Jin Pyo saw it’s his only way out. The two dying father and son, held each other’s hand for the last time.

Time went by. Na Na’s father passed away. Da Hye opened her own coffee shop. Eun Ah and Ki Joon were getting married.Shik Joong and Kyeong Hee were ready to move to the US.

And at last…someone kept his promise. After everything was finish, Yoon Seong promised to come back alive to Na Na’s side.

As Yeong Joo finally confirmed what he’s been suspicious about, Yoon Seong in cynical way asked him, “Kim Yeong Joo, are you happy now?” The police are coming, Yeong Joo finally just let Yoon Seong go.
But it wasn’t only Yoon Seong who escaped, Cheon Jae Man did too.

Yoon Seong visited Yeong Joo and asked him why he let him go. Yeong Joo said if he just thought himself as Kim Jeong Shik’s son, he would’ve arrested Yoon Seong. But as a prosecutor he had to admit that what justice couldn’t give to people, City Hunter could.

Cheon Jae Man called City Hunter to offer him getting the sealed document in order to make City Hunter stop following him. But Yoon Seong rejected the offer saying he would find it himself, and find Cheon as well.

The hostage, Cheon’s man, finally decided to help Yoon Seong with one condition. He asked Yoon Seong to terminate Cheon Jae Man. Yoon Seong agreed. The hostage then told Yoon Seong about Cheon Jae Man’s last hidden card: Yoon Seong’s own mother.

Meanwhile in the prosecutor’s office, Prosecutor Jang just brought some files from Cheon’s safe box that had very difficult locking system. The file was titled “Sunflower” and there’s a painting titled “Hyang Il” inside it and some documents having Kyeong Hee’s name on them.

Cheon Jae Man’s threatening the President that if the President didn’t help him get out of the country, he would expose about Kyeong Hee and their illegitimate son which would be a big blow for the President and his effort to make the private school reform bill goal in the assembly would fall apart. President Choi looked very surprise hearing about the fact that Kyeong Hee bore their child 28 years ago.

Then he asked Na Na to tell him where Kyeong Hee was. He even showed Na Na that he had the same handkerchief like hers.

Yoon Seong was visiting his mother in the hospital. When his mother was coughing and he gave her the handkerchief, his mother looked happy that he kept it well. She said she only gave that kind of handkerchief to people she liked. Yoon Seong said if she gave it to his father too. Kyeong Hee didn’t answer, and Yoon Seong didn’t push.But then Kyeong Hee asked, if Yoon Seong’s father had been alive, would have it been a good thing for him? Yoon Seong got suspicious and asked her back why she asked that kind of question. Kyeong Hee said it’s just out of nothing question.

Yoon Seong didn’t stop being curious. He asked Shik Joong for the contact he met when looking for Kyeong Hee. Yoon Seong finaly met this woman who told him about Kyeong Hee’s past. He finaly knew that Kyeong Hee was already pregnant by another man before Moo Yeol, who knew her condition, married her. In the right time, Na Na called her to let him knew that the President was looking for his mother saying that he owed her alot and he also had the same handkerchief like hers. So Yoon Seong kind of got his answer.

Yoon Seong went back to the hospital and told his mother that he knew everything, the truth about his real father was President Choi Eung Chan. His mother explained what really happened in the past. Yoon Seong said he’s sorry for his mom, but he didn’t resent her nor disappointed to her. He just thankful his mother was alive.

But the most surprising story was not about what really happened in the past, but about the fact that Lee Jin Pyo knew about it all from the beginning. He then went straightly to Jin Pyo’s house. He asked a rethoric question about why he did all this and saying he was someone else’s son. He told Jin Pyo he knew he’s the son of Choi Eung Chan and he would make Jin Pyo pay for twisting his whole life from the beginning. Yoon Seong gave him back the bullet pendant.

Yeong Joo was visiting Se Hee asking since when she knew about Yoon Seong. At first Se Hee didn’t want to say anything until Yeong Joo explained that he had found out everything about Yoon Seong. And he also hated it that he had to aknowledge that Yoon Seong’s method was better than him to bring justice to people. Se Hee said Yoon Seong was a lonely person and like a stranded puppy, just like Yeong Joo too.

Then she brought up their memory about going to Namsan to watch the sunflower. Right there Yeong Joo suddenly got an idea about the sunflower. He found the same painting on President’s personal blog.

After meeting Yoon Seong for asking him the reason why he also fight for the corrupts instead of just dealing with his revenge, he visited Jin Pyo. It’s quite confusing how Yeong Joo finally also figured out that Yoon Seong was President Eung Chan’s son, but let’s say he found it somewhere in Cheon’s “sunflower” document. He told Jin Pyo that he would reveal the truth about the raid in 1983 and brought the nation to the law for that action, too, including his own father and also Jin Pyo himself.

Apparently Cheon had sent the sealed document to Yeong Joo when he was in the airport and he wanted it back. So he sent some men to Yeong Joo’s house. Unfortunately, Se Hee was in Yeong Joo’s house and was on the phone call with Yeong Joo when those men attacked her.

Yeong Joo brought Se Hee to the hospital. Se Hee said she was okay and she forgive him. She said she wished for them to get back together again. Yeong Joo promised to take his chance to get back together with Se Hee. That time, when he left Se Hee in the hospital for work, he showed a lighter back and smiled to Se Hee.

Finaly Na Na also knew the truth about Yoon Seong’s relationship with President Choi.

Cheon told Jin Pyo about his whereabout, but turned out it was Yeong Joo who came. He was in big trouble fighting those men. Thankfully in the same time, Yoon Seong figured out Cheon’s whereabout too. He found the car and got the document, but still had no idea what happened to Yeong Joo. That Prosecutor was trying to hold Cheon Jae Man from leaving when Cheon’s man hit his head. Yoon Seong saw Cheon was leaving, but then he sensed something happened upstairs.

He found Yeong Joo badly bleeding, dying. Yeong Joo’s last wish was for Yoon Seong to reveal what had the nation did to its citizen. His last words were, “City Hunter…Lee Yoon Seong, please forgive my father. I’m sorry.”

Yoon Seong had no choice but to reveal his face in front of Cheon Jae Man’s man. He finally figured out that Yoon Seong was indeed City Hunter. Yoon Seong and Jin Pyo managed to fight them all, but Jin Pyo’s condition was so badly injured and Cheon Jae Man’s man could flee.

He was about to report about City Hunter identity to his boss, but Cheon Jae Man was on the phone dealing with his soon to be bankruptcy.

Na Na heard about Yoon Seong’s sudden judo expertize from Eun Ah and Ki Joon. And before she could realize the near danger, Cheon Jae Man’s man was already at her house and then kidnapped her. Yoon Seong got the news from the kidnapper himself. He threatened to kill Na Na. Yoon Seong was definitely coming to Hae Won Seaworld, the place where Na Na was put as hostage, despite Na Na told him not to.

Cheon Jae Man’s man put some steel block on Na Na so that if he press a button Na Na would sink into the big aquarium and drown. He told Yoon Seong to put on the handcuffs to himself and he started beating him. Yoon Seong didn’t fight back at first, but it wasn’t Yoon Seong if he didn’t find a way. Cheon Jae Man’s man press the button and Na Na was sunk, and that trigger Yoon Seong to beat him off. He finally saved Na Na.

But Na Na said he shouldn’t have come and save her. She said he didn’t say anything didn’t mean she wouldn’t wait. She said she would wair for him for a life time and had reach the level of couldn’t live without him. When Na Na was about to leave, Yoon Seong finally said, “Just wait a little longer. I can see the end of it.”

Yoon Seong caught Cheon Jae Man’s man as a hostage. But when Cheon Jae Man called and Yoon Seong told him about the hostage, Cheon said just kill him he didn’t care.

Yeong Joo was meeting Yoon Shik’s mother at the hospital. She was out of the sterilized room because the agreement was off since City Hunter snatched back the contract she was unwillingly signed last time. She had a record as an evidence for that threat. Then she said she wouldn’t stop fighting with other workers to bring justice for Hae Won chemical workers. Yoon Shik gave Yeong Joo a coin to give to City Hunter when he meet him.

But unfortunately, the workers lost the first trial, but Kim Yeong Joo wasn’t giving up on giving justice to those poor people.

Cheon Jae Man through Hae Won Group is facing bankcuptcy and the news was spread nation wide soon.

Yoon Seong was interrogated by his colleagues as soon as he showed up regarding his sudden judo to Yeong Joo last time. He just got along with Ki Joon’s guess that he practiced somewhere else and the place was expensive. And on his way to the President’s office, Yoon Seong ran into Na Na’s chief and he said harsh things to Yoon Seong. He could sense that Yoon Seong was using a fake ID.

Cheon Jae Man went here and there to find a place where he could borrow 30 million he needed to save his company. But Jin Pyo was already ahead of him. Jin Pyo beat him up in business.

The President invite Yoon Seong to go fishing together. He got a phonecall from Cheon Jae Man asking for a help, but politely the President refused to help him.

Yeong Joo was worry about the workers’ lives if Hae Won group would go collapse. He visited Yoon Seong at home and said his worries would be the same as City Hunter’s. He passed Yoon Shik’s coin to Yoon Seong.

And soon Cheon Jae Man got a visitor who’s interested in buying his company, Hae Won chemical.It’s of course, Yoon Seong. He bought the company with the coin Yeong Joo handed him. The result was 51% of Cheon Jae Man’s shares of the company was distributed to the workers.

Cheon Jae Man was planning to flee to US and Yeong Joo couldn’t get Cheon’s abroad traveling probation. But City Hunter would go in action, all Yeong Joo had to do was just waiting in his office. Yeong Joo prepared a SWAT team, but many people showed up in mask just like City Hunter. It’s because of a message spread to random people, done by Shik Joong.

And when they didn’t see, Cheon Jae Man was left in front of the Prosecutor office.

Yeong Joo tried to catch City hunter. He managed to stop Yoon Seong from going anywhere by shooting Yoon Seong’s car tire. He pointed a gun to Yoon Seong but Yoon Seong could turn the situation. He aimed his gun to Yeong Joo, but didn’t do anything. Yeong Joo finally opened Yoon Seong’s mask.

Being asked by the President if he was looking for the 1983 year book, Yoon Seong said no. He said he’s just passing by. Then the President asked him for a help to teach him something about managing blog. Yoon Seong found out that the President worked harder than his staffs and had a very good attitude as the most powerful man in Korea.

The President was holding a lunch event with some Korean top businessmen. He invited Yoon Seong to the event too, in order to let him lear and see people behind Korean economic. Cheon Jae Man came with Jin Pyo. thinking that Jin Pyo had no idea about he was the man who stole the document. The President was so surprise to see Jin Pyo’s face in front of him.

The lunch was just about to start when there’s a scene. Something exploded, like the sound of a gun, and Na Na spontaniously covered President with her body. She got shot, but it’s just a paint. Yoon Seong knew it’s Jin Pyo’s work.

Na Na saw a stain on the President’s suit, so she handed him the handkerchief Kyeong Hee just sent her.

When the President gave it back to her, he asked her who did the embrodiery. Na Na said she’s just an ordinary ajumma.

At the hospital, Kyeong Hee hid herself when she saw Cheon Jae Man. Flashback to the past, she remembered the day in the clinic when Cheon ordered her to abort Choi Eung Chan (Mr.President) because that child could jeopardize Choi’s political future. Cheon gave Kyeong Hee some money to abort the child she’s carrying and to disappear from Eung Chan’s life.

When Kyeong Hee was back to her ward, Shik Joong was already there. He gave her Moo Yeol’s picture with frame, it’s from Yoon Seong. Then Kyeong Hee asked him to give Yoon Seong a handkerchief with her signature embrodiary, like the one she gave Na Na.

Mr.President was meeting Jin Pyo at a theater. He asked Jin Pyo to stop his revenge and he would expose the truth about the event anytime soon. Jin Pyo refused Mr.President’s offer. He said he’s gonna continue it till finish, for the sake of his comrades, the trauma and the hatred he had for 28 years. Before Jin Pyo left, Mr.President asked him why he took Kyeong Hee’s child. Jin Pyo just smirk.

Yeong Joo went to see Yoon Seong when finding out more info about Cheon Jae Man’s company, the Hae Won construction. He figured out why Jin Pyo became the CEO in Hae Won Construction was because Jin Pyo wanted to bring down Cheon Jae Man from the core of his business empire.

After meeting Yoon Seong, Yeong Joo waited Na Na finished work just to say how sorry he was lying about Kim Jeong Shik was his father. Na Na understood him and knew it wasn’t his fault, but thinking about what his father had done to her parents, Na Na kind of didn’t know what to do.

Later that night Na Na went to Se Hee’s clinic to drink together. Se Hee also finally confessed that she was Yeong Joo’s ex-wife.

Na Na passed out and Se Hee called Yoon Seong to bring Na Na home. Putting Na Na on the bed, Yoon Seong talked to the sleeping Na Na, “I’m a fool,am I not? I told you to let me go, but I can’t stand it. I can’t send you to another man, yet I can’t keep you by my side.”

Kim Yeong Joo was demoted to another city and he was ready to go off. But suddenly his chief stopped him and said he’s getting back City Hunter and Cheon Jae Man’s case. so apparently, Mr. President made a personal recommendation for Yeong Joo after hearing to Cheon who’s talking about giving Yeong Joo a lesson.

Cheon and Jin Pyo were meeting two Assemblymen at Hae Won anti-aging center. Yoon Seong was looking for the briberies Jin Pyo would be giving to the assemblymen,but he couldn’t find them because they’re moved to another place. Yeong Joo also came to place and found some guys passed out. He checked to the Blue House and Yoon Seong was’t there.

Yoon Seong arrived at Blue House, but he’s on the phone with Jin Pyo’s man saying that his father got back home because there’s a report about a gas leak. Yoon Seong remembered what happened to Yeong Joo.

Meanwhile in the same time, Yeong Joo was trying to interrogate him about City Hunter matter, but it wasn’t the right time. Yoon Seong looked tense and when Yeong Joo tried to block him, Yoon Seong just pull him down. Everyone was surprise.

Jin Pyo came into his house, sensing an intruder. And it turned out to be not just one man. A gang came into his house and started attacking him.Yoon Seong went there in a very high speed and got there in time.He rescued his father from Cheon Jae Man’s men.

Yoon Seong’s condition was very bad. He could sense it that death is so much closer to him now. He gave Bae Shik Joong his bank accounts and houses’ deeds (including Na Na’s house). He also asked Bae Shik Joong to take care of Na Na and his mother.

Later that night Yoon Seong went to see Na Na. He told her that he never imagined that he could fall in love to someone before. So knowing how hard Na Na’s life if something happen to him would be unbearable for him to think about. “Kim Na Na, I like you. But I don’t have the confidence to let you go. That’s why, you’re gonna be the one who let me go first.”

Yoon Seong took out the bullet pendant. Na Na said he shouldn’t do that. She could take back her words and he could just ignore her like before. This time, Yoon Seong was the one who said he couldn’t do that he was the one who like her. It’s his first love.

He then asked her for a favor to resent him whenever he’s coming back to her and to ignore him first whenever they run into each other. “Now I fully understand why my father prevent me from falling in love.”

Yeong Joo got the report from Thailand authority about the drug dealer name Lee Jin Pyo. The result showed someone else’s photograph. And another thing that upset Yeong Joo was the news saying the document regarding the secret operation on October 1983 disappear from NIS.

Cheon Jae Man refused to admit the undustrial violation nor to restructure his factory for a safer environment for the workers. He was going to privatize the health care, no matter what so he needed Jin Pyo’s money for this. When the President asked him to stop doing what he’s doing, Cheon Jae Man threatened him with the October 1983 raid and his other weakness, which was not yet revealed.

After visiting Kyeong Hee, Na Na met Yoon Shik outside his mother’s ward. He was sad because his mother’s condition was getting worse. Na Na consoled him and took him to the beauty shop to buy a present for his mom.

Yoon Shik was paying with coins he had collected and the cashier refused to accept it. Yoon Seong interfere by giving a 10 million won cheque that the cachier couldn’t give the change. Yoon Seong made her apologize to Yoon Shik. After the shop, Yoon Seong asked Na Na to stop coming to the hospital.

Arriving with Yoon Shik in hospital, Yoon Seong saw Cheon’s man threatening Yoon Shik’s mother to sign an agreement she actually refused to sign. Yoon Seong also heard about the order to beat up the protesters outside the factory and made them to a near death condition.

Yoon Seong as City Hunter came to safe them when it happen. He beat up Cheon’s man there.

Da Hye was having a class with Yoon Seong at the coffee shop. Arriving at the place, Shin Eun Ah was off first to get Da Hye a food, while a group of girls were ready to attack Da Hye. Na Na saw the eggs and thing that were aimed at Da Hye, so with her instinct, she stepped forward and became Da Hye’s shield. Yoon Seong saw the scene, too and went out to give Na Na a help. But she shrugged him off coldly.

During the tutorial, Yoon Seong couldn’t stop staring at Na Na who got a bruise below her eye.

Yoon Seong spotted Cheon and his father were meeting a couple of prosecutor highers. He straightly sent the picture to Yeong Joo and that young prosecutor showed up on time after Cheon Jae Man gave those prosecutors the bribery. Yeong Joo got a big problem with his higher at the office.

After having a meeting with Mr.President related to Da Hye’s education future, he ran into Na Na at the Blue House. He showed his care for Na Na and her bruise,but Na Na replied him coldly.

Then later that night it was him who couldn’t get Na Na out of his mind. So he went to the place where he used to go to calm his mind, and he found Na Na was there too.
He said Na Na shouldn’t be the one who’s coming there recalling their memories. He’s the one who’s suppose to do that alone. He also said that Na Na should go back to be the cheerful Na Na and start meeting another better man. Na Na couldn’t take that. She said for him to tell her to find another man was too much. She asked him to just tell her that he would come back to her after he finish his works. Yoon Seong didn’t say anything.

Yeong Joo found the NIS man who gave out the document to Jin Pyo and Cheon. He was found almost collapsed,but he could still tell Yeong Joo about the document whereabout.

Meanwhile Jin Pyo kept the fifth person mysterious and the anxious Jin Pyo’s right hand man told Yoon Seong about Jin Pyo’s ownership of the document.

Yoon Seong was about to open Jin Pyo’s safe box when Yeong Joo suddenly came. It’s very close to him to reveal that Yoon seong was City Hunter while Jin Pyo was the only survivor from the 1983 raid. Jin Pyo suddenly came and tried to avoid Yeong Joo from opening the safe box, but it’s too late. Yeong Joo opened the safe box but there’s nothing there.

The document was already stolen by cheon Jae Man. And that man was suddenly looking for Kyeong Hee, but his man reported that she already left for Us. Cheon Jae Man ordered to find her wherever and whatever it took. He said she was his last hidden card.

Yoon Seong was in the Blue House library looking for the 1983 year book and finding it gone. Suddenly the President himself appeared and gave him the book.

Lee Jin Pyo got the original document related to the raid on October 1983 while the one Cheon Jae Man burnt was just a copy, but he didn’t know it.

Lee Jin Pyo called Yoon Seong to warned him about Yeong Joo because that prosecutor might have found out everything about them. Yoon Seong said his identity wouldn’t be revealed and he’d survive in order to protect people he loved.

Na Na and Yoon Seong visited Kyeong Hee in the hospital. She’s undergoing chemoteraphy. When Yoon Seong was alone with his mother, the mother said how pretty and kind Na Na was and she had seen her growing up. Yoon Seong said she wasn’t pretty and didn’t even act like woman. He told her how she lifted a sofa for a little kid who looked for coin.

Kyeong Hee said that boy, Yoon Shik, had a mother who’s in the ICU suffered from a leukemia too. She also said she worked for Hae Won Chemical. Yoon Seong recognized it as Cheon Jae Man’s company (Hae Won Group).

And then Kyeong Hee gave Yoon Seong the ring his father gave her. She told him to give it to Na Na. Even though Yoon Seong denied he’s in a relationship with Na Na, his mother know how much he liked her. She wanted him to find his happiness.

Yeong Joo was safe in the hospital because Yoon Seong called the emergency after saving him. Yeong Joo received a video message showing Cheon Jae Man’s man as the one who tried to kill him.

On his way out of the hospital, he coincidently saw Yoon Seong helping a Thai immigrant speaking to the nurse. Yeong Joo found that as a clue, Yoon Seong might have lived in Thailand in the past because he spoke Thai well. Since Na Na was with Yoon Seong, they finally got suspicious about their relationship and Prosecutor Jang told Yeong Joo about the event where he lost Yoon Seong on the National Forensic Service because Na Na suddenly appeared in front of him. All of this made Yeong Joo ordered Prosecutor Jang to investigate John Lee’s (Lee Yoon Seong) background in the US.

After a long day and a drink out with the president who gave him some advice about understanding his father’s situation, it’s very pleasing for Yeong Joo to have Se Hee in his house. She’s the only person Yeong Joo could share his burden and lift his spirit again.

Da Hye printed out Yoon Seong’s pictures that she had taken secretly. And among them there’s a picture of Na Na and Yoon Seong…it’s when Yoon Seong helped Na Na with a bandaid on her face.

Cheon Jae Man visited Yoon Shik’s mother to tell her that her sickness had nothing to do with her work and threatened her to hurt her child if she said her sickness is because of her work at Hae Won chemical. Yoon Seong followed Cheon to the hospital and found out Hae Won Chemical caused serious problems to the workers, many of them ended up suffered from cancer.

Na Na put the picture she got from Da Hye at Yoon Seong’s study, but Yoon Seong hate it and told her to throw it away, then accidently dropped it. Yoon Seong kept in his mind very seriously his father’s words about love.

When he’s taking a walk with Na Na he received a news from the hospital that his DNA test result let him help his mother.

At the hospital Jin Pyo secretly asked a nurse to turn on an old song Kyeong Hee really liked to hear. So this guy still had a little care for the woman whose life he ruined. Kyeong Hee told Na Na that he felt sorry for Yoon Seong to suffer to save her. And she asked Na Na if Yoon Seong had given her the ring yet. Na Na had no idea about it. That night Kyeong Hee had a chance to sleep with his son at the ICU. They talked about the dream of living together happily after she received the treatment. Kyeong Hee sang a lullaby for Yoon Seong.

Yeong Joo didn’t give up on Yoon Seong’s real identity. He traced back Yoon Seong’s life in US and found out he was using John Lee’s identity, a Us resident Korean who died on an accident when he was in highschool. Yoon Seong was only John Lee at university, but from birth date to highschool records was actually someone else. Yeong Joo confirmed it to a Korean man who went to the same highschool with John Lee and even the birth mother of John Lee confessed about a Korean man from the Golden Triangle who bought her son’s identity. Yeong Joo also dig up information from a couple of Thai drug trafficker who were interrogated at his office.

While Yeong Joo was busy finding out Yoon Seong’s real identity, Yoon Seong was at the hospital, helping his mother in the cancer treatment. But then Bae Shik Joong came protesting Yoon Seong in the hospital for freexing all of his credit cards. The upset Shik Joong ran away from home to Na Na’s place. After getting the news from Na Na, Yoon Seong hurriedly came to Na Na’s place to persuade his ajeossi not to go from home and make up with him. They were like husband and wife who were fighting about domestic money problem.

Back in the hospital, Yoon Seong got a little fever. He leaned on Na Na. It was a lovely moment until Na Na brought up the topic, “Why you never say it? That you like me, why you never say it?” Yoon Seong’s smile suddenly fade away and said he couldn’t say such a thing. Na Na tried to keep her pride, but actually hurt inside.

Still in a bad condition Yoon Seong went to Hae Won Chemical to investigate the company. Since there were so many dangerous chemical and he had to fight some men too, his condition got worse. In that very bad condition, Na Na called to tell him that they should go to hear the Bosingak bell on the last day of the year together with his mom.

That just put Yoon Seong in a worse agony. And when Yoon Seong arrived home, Yeong Joo was there. That prosecutor was almost sure that Yoon Seong wass City Hunter. Yoon Seong was so surprised when Yeong Joo called him “Poo Chai”, his nickname when he was still in Triangle.

The incident of Kim Jeong Shik fell off the bridge changed the lives of both Yeong Joo and Yoon Seong. For Yoon Seong, he almost killed a man and the worst part was the man behind the scenerio was actually Jin Pyo.

Jin Pyo used a disguise car to make it looked like Kim Jeong Shik who hit Bae Shik Joong to provoke Yoon Seong’s evil side.
Yoon Seong was furious knowing his father tried to control him. He figured out that his father never care of other’s lives and the only precious life he care was Yoon Seong’s. Yoon Seong stabbed his own hand with a metal stick, saying to his father, “You must feel the pain now (seeing Yoon Seong’s hurt), right?”

He was very upset that even he tried to send Na Na away in fear that his father would eventually hurt Na Na just like he hurt Bae Shik Joong. But Na Na managed to calm him down…they shared their pain together.

For Yeong Joo, no matter how disappointed or hate he was towards his father, Kim Jeong Shik was still his father. He felt a great pain seeing his father in coma condition. He listened to the conversation between his father and City Hunter in the voice recorder he put in his father’s pocket secretly.

He couldn’t hold his anger when getting Yoon Seong in front of his father’s ward. In full of emotion, he said to Yoon Seong, “You’re not a hero. You’re just a murderer.”

Yeong Joo just became more obsess with his works. Since he’s not allowed to be involved in City Hunter case, he turned to Cheon Jae Man’s case. Trying to convince his chief, Yeong Joo told him that he already got some evidences about Cheon Jae Man’s dirty works. Yeong Joo even put his career on the line to get the investigation permission.

Na Na came to Jin Pyo’s house to ask Jin Pyo to let Yoon Seong go and have a happy life. She’s so brave that she didn’t even blink her eyes when Jin Pyo pulled a trigger in front of her face. Jin Pyo let her go this time.

Cheon Jae Man ordered to kill Kim Jeong Shik when he gave a sign of waking up from coma. Cheon Jae Man also held a press conference, revealing about the raid on October 1983, but in twisted story. He said those 20 soldiers were traitors, so they’re all killed by South Korean army. He continued that since City Hunter was trying to bring up that old story, City Hunter was also a nation’s traitor.

Bae Shik Joong gained consciousness. He quickly told Yoon Seong about his mother whereabout. Yoon Seong went to Bota Temple and found his mother in a really sick condition. It was a very touching moment when his mother cried “my son…my child…i’m sorry…so sorry” over and over again, and Yoon Seong called her “Mom” for the first time.

Yoon Seong brought her to the hospital. Kyeong Hee agreed to undergo the treatment since she had a reason to continue living now. But before it started, she said she wanted to cook for Yoon Seong. At Kyeong Hee’s shabby house, Yoon Seong confessed to her mother how he hated her because he thought she abandoned him. But Kyeong Hee said it was all her fault not be able to protect him. Jin Pyo was actually there, watching his very touching scene, but he didn’t do anything.

Yoon Seong didn’t eat black bean, his mother said that habit taken from his father. Yoon Seong started to ask about his father and Kyeong Hee awkwardly just explained that his father was a very kind man who helped her and Yoon Seong.

Jin Pyo had a different way of war with Cheon Jae Man. This time he exposed himself straightly to Cheon Jae Man as Steve Lee, the successful Korean business man from US who’s interested in making investment in Cheon’s company. Yoon Seong and Na Na saw Cheon and Jin Pyo in the hospital (because the hospital was under Cheon’s company) and wondered what Jin Pyo’s plan this time.

Yoon Seong warned Jin Pyo that trying to get Cheon Jae Man throgh investment could be so risky. But he’s not saying that because he’s worry about his father, “I just don’t want you to get in my way,” he said to Jin Pyo. But Jin Pyo told him, “just watch me carefully. A revenge must look like a revenge, like mine.”

Na Na was moving back to her house without priorly telling Yoon Seong. He was a bit disappointed, but Yoon Seong knew it’s the best for her. They went to Na Na’s house and Yoon Seong made some heart pounding movements. Na Na served him a coffee saying that everytime she saw coffee, she thought of him. Hearing that, Yoon Seong got more worried and refused to drink any coffee anymore.

Both Yoon Seong and Na Na got back to work at the Blue House again. Strangely, no one got suspicious about it. Da Hye and the IT Chief just bery happy to have Yoon Seong there.

Na Na told Yoon Seong that his father’s picture is at the library. Yoon Seong was looking through the year book, but it wasn’t there. It turned out to be in the hand of Yeong Joo who gave it to Yoon Seong. Yeong Joo didn’t need to ask anything anymore to Yoon Seong at that state.

Yeong Joo visited Lee Jin Pyo, but unfortunately he had no solid accusation yet. He just asked Jin Pyo’s motivation by showing up again after years of disappearance and changed his name and then now started a business partnership with Cheon Jae Man. Jin Pyo just acted cool.

Na Na bought Yoon Seong a necktie and decided to follow Yoon Seong ‘working.’ What Yoon Seong meant by working was actually checking in in a hotel with a girl. But she’s not just a girl, she’s Cheon Jae Man’s secretary. Na Na couldn’t hold herself from being jealous.

Cheon Jae Man found out that Yeong Joo was investigating him related to the raid on October 1983. He ordered his man to kill Yeong Joo. They set a trap by telling Yeong Joo that there’s a gas leak at his apartment.

Meanwhile Yoon Seong was breaking in Cheon Jae Man’s office (with Cheon’s secretary ID card he had stolen) and witnessed Cheon Jae Man destroying the important classified documents and made an order to murder Yeong Joo by making it look like a suicide attempt.

Yoon Seong called Yeong Joo’s mobile, but Prosecutor Jang told him that Yeong Joo went back home because he was informed that there’s a gas leak.

Yeong Joo found nothing wrong and the building management said he didn’t call him. When Yeong Joo was to his car, Cheon Jae Man’s man dozed him off and poisoned him with a gas in his car. Thankfully Yoon Seong arrived on time. He saved Yeong Joo’s life.

But Yeong Joo wasn’t fully unconscious and he managed to grab Yoon Seong’s leg.

Na Na was once again saved by Yoon Seong, thanks to his quick response on the situation. Jin Pyo didn’t shoot him.

The incident left Yoon Seong a bad mood. Na Na’s request to him for not worrying about her if next time she’s in danger didn’t help his mood. But Na Na told him his reason. She’s such an understanding and tough girlfriend. She really was City Hunter’s girl.

Kim Jeong Shik made a twist words for media release, saying that City Hunter had stolen the university’s fund and the reason he kept the money at home was because he didn’t trust any bank.

Who’s he fooling anyway? The people might buy that crap, but the prosecutors didn’t. It cost Yeong Joo to be withdrawn from City Hunter case.

Yeong Joo almost got Yoon Seong when Yoon Seong was applying bugs in Kim Jeong Shik’s office. Thankfully Na Na helped him by calling Yeong Joo and pretended the line wasn’t working well to lead Yeong Joo out of the office. Na Na still didn’t know that Kim Jeong Shik was Kim Yeong Joo’s father.

Kim Yeong Joo still tried to persuade his father to do the right thing, but Kim Jeong Shik was too arrogant to do that. He didn’t feel guilty at all about the accident happened 10 years ago. Yeong Joo asked him about what happened on October 1983, his father didn’t say anything.

Yeong Joo was still looking for Kyeong Hee even though he was no longer in charge of City Hunter case. He found out that Kyeong Hee had a son who was stolen away on 1983.

On his way back, he saw Yoon Seong was sitting on his mother abandoned shop and started to figured out everything and for him all the clues made sense. He suspected the security man’s figure he saw earlier was also Yoon Seong.

He knew Yoon Seong placed a bug in his father’s office, so he pretended to visit his father again and received a phone call as if his men had found Kyeong Hee at a particular church. Yoon Seong ate the bait.

But the genius Yoon Seong quickly knew it was just a trap.

Bae Shik Joong was still in search of Lee Kyeong Hee. He found an address of Bota Temple and went there, but Kyeong Hee had left and likely would never come back there again. He bought a green tea made by the nuns and gave it personally to Shin Eun Ah at the Blue House. But Bae Shik Joong left Yoon Seong’s number to the ajeomma at the temple.

Meanwhile Yoon Seong had trouble contacting Bae Shik Joong because he dropped his phone into the water when he was at the temple. But Eun Ah who thought the tea was from Yoon Seong, called him to say thank and said his uncle who delivered it himself. Yoon Seong and Na Na rushed there because Kim Jeong Shik’s men must be around.
Yoon Seong and Na Na saw Bae Shik Joong was crossing the street when a car suddenly hit Bae Shik Joong. Yoon Seong saw the car’s police number. He recognized it as Kim Jeong Shik’s.

Bae Shik Joong’s condition was quite serious, but he survived the accident.

Kim Jeong Shik just hit the hornet hive.

Yoon Seong went to Yeong Joo’s medal honoring ceremony because Kim Jeong Shik attended that event. Yeong Joo put a recorder in his father’s pocket secretly.

Having his father coming there, Yeong Joo had a feeling that City Hunter would be there too, and yes he was.
When Yeong Joo was giving his speech, at the background screen showed the video where Yoon Seong debated his father to turn himself in for the hit and run accident 10 years ago that put Na Na’s parents as victims.

Na Na who came too because she heard the news from her aunt, was shocked. Kim Yeong Joo left the building.

Knowing his father would be in danger, Yeong Joo ran to save his father. Yoon Seong was already inside Kim Jeong Shik’s car and they drove a few kilo before Kim Jeong Shik managed to flee.

He fled to a crossing bridge and because of his greed, he almost fell down. He helf tight on the railing and Yoon Seong just left him there.
But then he remembered what Na Na told him about her believe that City Hunter wouldn’t kill anyone. Yeong joo came and called out his father’s name and he was about to save him when his father released his own grip from the railing. Yoon Seong was too late to grab Kim Jeong Shik’s hand.

So in Kim Yeong Joo’s point of view, City Hunter had made his father fell down from that bridge.

Na Na survived. They brought Na Na to Jin Se Hee animal clinic. Se Hee said Na Na should go to human hospital since she had lost many bloods and her blood pressure was so weak. Yoon Seong told her to use his blood because he’s an O blood type.

While waiting for Na Na to gain her consciousness again, Yoon Seong asked Baek Shik Joong how could Na Na be so tough while in the surface she’s just like ordinary woman. Baek Shik Joong said she’s a very tough girl and that’s why she survived living alone these whole time.
Yoon Said murmured that he might not be able to continue with all this (if it cost Na Na’s life).

Yoon Seong found out the wire Sang Gook installed on the hanging lamp in his house.

He went to confront Jin Pyo, but he accidently overheard Jin Pyo’s conversation with Sang Gook. Jin Pyo was talking about getting rid of Na Na and asking Sang Gook to keep searching for Kyeong Hee whereabout.

Then the next thing was more surprising for Yoon Seong. He found out that Jin Pyo was the one who took him away from his mother, not Kyeong Hee who abandoned him. “You ruined my life for your revenge? I’ve never wanted this kind of life! I will never forget you, even if I die!” cried Yoon Seong.

Yoon Seong said he’d continue on the revenge plan, but he’s gonna do it his way. Jin Pyo said yoon Seong wouldn’t win from him, Yoon Seong said the opposite. Yoon Seong warned him not to touch BAe Shik Joong, his mother, and Na Na.

Yoon Seong’s life turned upside down that night. And in that sad moment, Na Na excuse herself to go from his house. She told him that she’d forget about him and he shouldn’t worry about she saved his life because it was paying debt.

Yoon seong grabbed Na Na’s hand and said, “Don’t go” several times, but Na Na let it go. Yoon Seong knew Na Na might be okay to live without him, but not vice versa. He grabbed Na Na’s unwounded shoulder and hugged her tight from the back.

After her wounded was treated by Yoon Seong, Na Na insisted on helping him out in the mission to bring Kim Jeong Shik down. Yoon Seong told her not to get involved, but Na Na insisted on helping at least in the search for his lost mother. Yoon Seong gave up and let her helped.

The IT Chief visited Yoon Seong’s house to persuade him not to resign. Go Gi Joon and Shin Eun Ah came along with him. Na Na had to hide somewhere when Shin Eun Ah explored Yoon Seong’s house.

Yoon Seong was discussing with Baek Shik joong about the wat they’re going to handle Kim Jeong Shik matter and how they had to be ready to face his father’s interference.

Na Na asked Yoon Seong about his father, but Yoon Seong wasn’t sure how to answer her. Na Na asked if his father was the one who killed Lee Kyeong Wan, and since Yoon Seong only made a look with Bae Shik Joong, Na Na kind of knew the answer.

Kim Jeong Shik was a bit freak about his security for the fear of City Hunter. But Yoon Seong penetrate his barricade in a more clever and amusing way. Kim Jeong Shik was going to have a false tooth implant, and there exactly Yoon Seong planted his device.

Yoon Seong went to the vet clinic to pick up Na Na’s clothes, but Kim Jeong Shik’s man was there looking for Na Na. So Yoon Seong went to a department store and shopped so many clothes for her.

At home Bae Shik Joong found a shampoo and asked Na Na if she wanted to use it. Na Na said she’d love to, but her shoulder was still hurt. Bae Shik Joong was about to volunteer himself helping Na Na washed her hair, Yoon Seong took it over and did it for her.
It’s the famous hair wash scene! They finally had their happy moments together Yoon Seong started to call Na Na “Na Na Bear” from then on.

Yoon Seong was listening to Kim Jeong Shik’s conversation with an anonymous scholarship donor when he found out that the woman was his mother. He went to the institution, but failed to meet his mother.

Yoon Seong watched Kim Jeong Shik’s moves and figured out that Kim Jeong Shik was moving out his money.

Yeong Joo finally witnessed the real money that his father had been corrupting all this year. He persuaded his father to turn himself in, but Kim Jeong Shik refused.

Yoon Seong boycotted the money movement. But he had to deal with his father. Yoon Seong was not alone in the mission this time, he had Na Na and Bae Shik Joong’s help. He had prepared a plan to deal with his father.
He saved the money and tricked his own father. They sent the money to the students who were supposed to get the scholarships at the first place.

Mission accomplished. Bae Shik Joong shooed Na Na and Yoon Seong to go to the supermarket because they’re going to throw a party for their success.

Na Na and Yoon Seong went to the supermarket and bought lots of groceries. But when they’re about to enter parking lot, Na Na went out first and Yoon Seong was strangely locked inside. From a far, they saw a motorcycle approached Na Na. Yoon Seong could smell the danger. It’s gonna be his father!
