Korean most favorite TV show on Sunday, KBS’ 2 Days 1 Night, finally came to an end this evening’s broadcast. They’re saying goodbye to Seung Gi, the maknae, and Ji Won. It’s also going to be the last 2 Days 1 Night episode for the legendary Na PD after 5 years running the show successfully. After the night game, Na PD gave each of the member a present. They all got the brotherhood gold rings. Real gold.

As the show has been very close to the heart of viewers and never failed to entertain us with laughter, education, and inspiration, this episode was also a sad goodbye to the famous brotherhood: (last formation) Uhm Tae Woong, Lee Su Geun, Kim Jong Min, Eun Ji Won, and Lee Seung Gi. Fans of the show was like growing up together with the show, just like Seung Gi has spent half of his 20s here. He started the show when he was 21 and last January 13 he turned 26 (in Korean age). He and Eun Ji Won were original members who have joined the show for 5 years, so it was no wonder that both of them couldn’t help crying and crying when the closing time had come. It’s so touching to see how Tae Woong kept trying to sooth Ji Won when he reluctant to wake up and looked very very sad. Seung Gi who tried his best to keep smiling and cheerful couldn’t help the tears from running through his cheeks. And he actually kept crying when he was alone in the bathroom earlier that morning.

Both Seung Gi and Ji Won had gained so much love and popularity through this show. And they’re great entertainers. So it’s a great loss, but just like Su Geun said in the closing: Hope Seung Gi’s drama project would be very very successful and also Ji Won’s career to be very very successful.

And let’s hope the new 2 Days 1 Night would be as successful as the first season with 4 new members.

2Days 1Night will likely to have new members, we all have heard that. After the “lost” of Kang Ho Dong, the program kind of lost the figure of Big Brother. Uhm Tae Woong as the eldest member couldn’t really play that role because of his calm and awkward character. Lee Seu Geun should’ve been the biggest supporter in this issue, but he’s been the second big brother that still needs direction from the eldest.

Rumor has it that Kim Seung Woo will probably fill the gap. Well, he does have the qualification, but his image has been attached to another KBS’ variety show, “Win Win”. I don’t know if he will be able to keep both shows if he really joins 2D1N. However, it’s gonna be fun if we have him on the show. He has a warm character. Charismatic, but can be comical sometimes. He’s just the cute ajeossi. And I think he must have a fit body, too. So it’ll be great if the show has him joining the members.

Another man rumored to be joining the show is Sung Shi Kyung. We know that he showed a great characteristic when he was involved in the last year’s viewers’ special. But I don’t think the show has any necessity in adding another middle-brother, out of the context of making the team’s numbers even, to make them 8. And just like Kim Seung Woo, Sung Shi Kyung has been very very popular, especially among women, even without him joining this show.

2D1N is maybe the most popular variety show in Korea that it makes everyone who joins the show as the main member will be a lot more popular than he was before. And many celebrities wish to be on the team too, I guess. So the idea of taking Sung Shi Kyung as the new member will give a vice versa effect, in my opinion. If Sung Shi Kyung could show his very interesting character, this show can be very huge.

And the last rumored young man is Joo Won. Oh I’m more than happy with the rumor. I’m still nervous about the final decision whether Seung Gi will stay or not, and still hope he won’t go. But hearing that Joo Won will likely to join the show is a very good news. He has a cheerful character and he’s not THAT popular yet (in comparison with Seung Gi)…so this show will be very good for him. But if Seung Gi stays and Joo Won joins the team, girls are gonna be very distracted. I’m gonna be very distracted. Haha. And Seung Gi may have to share the spot light.

As a loyal fan, I sincerely hope for the best for this great show. If these three men is really joining the members, that’ll be awesome! I can’t wait for the good news

As we all know, our most favorite Korean TV show, 2Days 1Night is gonna end the season next February. Although I never stop watching the show, i’ve been very sad since Kang Ho Dong’s issue. And the next sad thing was the announcement that the show is going to a season finale soon and then Na PD is leaving and Seung Gi probably won’t come back for the next season

2Days 1Night has been with us for around 5 years. So many things happen on the way, changing members and all of the issues related to them. They’ve been promoting Korean tourist destinations in interesting ways. They show us the way how to enjoy all of the beauties of Korean land and sea.

I really hope all the 5 current members will be back for the next season. Each of them has their own characteristic that we’ll miss. Even the clumsy Kim Jong Min and the cool ajeossi Uhm Tae Woong. There’re rumors regarding new members for the next season, but I don’t know I can really let go of Seung Gi or not if he really won’t be with the gang anymore. Above all, I really hope they will show a memorable season finale on the end of February.
