The main poster from “Ghost”(유령) looked  so creepy, Okay i agree with Rizz here. I think So Ji Sub’s expressionless cold face that makes this poster mysterious. if you see the title and this poster, i bet you think this is a horror drama.

But wait a minute, this drama will not involve the spirit or astral creature, the tense is to representing the mysterious cases on crime cyber unit. Actually if you look more clearly beside that cold expression, this pictures content complicated digital codes, and those are related with the drama’s theme, about cyber crime.

On this thriller drama, So Ji Sub play as top agent on cyber crime unit, Kim Woo Hyun,  a genius detective who will face with genius, psychotic, and heartless villain. This drama is not only about cyber crime,but also is going to lead to terrifying murder cases.

“Ghost” will be running on SBS start on May 30.

“Ghost” (유령) will be released next week, May 30 to follow up “Rooftop Prince” at SBS, then for anticipating SBS has released teaser video for that drama. The writer, Kim Eun Hee, once again created an action-science drama after “Sign” (2010), but from the theme, the cyber crime, i think “Ghost” will be more tense, I hope it will be like Diane Lane’s “The Untraceable”.

On this video, as always, So Ji Sub looked so cold and stiff, but no doubt he still looks sexy even wearing the monkey suit. Lee Yeon Hee looked more bold and ready to become hero.

The drama tells about crime cyber investigation unit where detective Kim Woo Hyun (So Ji Sub) as the center point. Together with his partner, Yoo Kang Mi (Lee Yeon Hee),  they try to solved mystery behind the cyber crime cases and also murder cases. They both have to face the genius bad guy, Park Gi Yeong (Choi Daniel).

Frankly, before this I couldn’t imagine Choi Daniel become the bad guy here, how could  hat innocent face become a criminal??? but after seeing this video, I’m sure he’s not a simple bad guy. He’s transformed into the real villain. Oh i even hate his smirking here…and that’s awesome. I can’t wait to see these guys duel with their brains…good luck ajeossideul!

On May 5th, SBS new drama, “Ghost”, showed the charismatic two lead characters, they filming on rooftop of a building, because the scene is related to a helicopter.

From the blue nuance of these pictures i can guess that this drama is pretty serious. So Ji Sub and Lee Yeon Hee appeared so charismatic and bold here, since on this drama they both portray special unit cyber crime investigation agent.

So Ji Sub , as always, looked cool with his semi-neat suit. He will play as Kim Woo Hyun, the genius and very dedicated police officer.  His father  is the important person on police unit and has the power to influence government, i don’t know whether  it’s become Woo Hyun’s burden or benefits.

Meanwhile, even with her innocent face Lee Yeon Hee also looked so cool with her casual appearance, i love her outfit. She becomes the femme fatale here, the staff gave her nickname as Goddess of Sun. As i know she always performs as the sweet and nice girl in her dramas or movies, sometimes she had to resemble the weak female, but this time she looks so dazzling and bright with her new role, as the brave heroine. This is a challenge for her.

Lee Yeon Hee plays as Woo Hyun’s partner, Yoo Kang Mi. She has hard duties, not only has to face with difficult cases, but also with the cold and stiff partner.

Finally the official find the girl for So Ji Sub on SBS summer drama “Ghost“(유령). On March 22nd, Lee Yeon Hee agreed to act on this detective drama. Last year was too bad for Lee Yeon Hee, her drama “Paradise Ranch” was not too success but on late 2011 she had a small part on Jang Dong Gun’s movie “My Way”.  And now i hope she will comeback with new energy to make the drama success.

Actually this is not first time for So Ji Sub to work together with Lee Yeon Hee. Before on 2008, these actors became a couple on OCN drama “U Turn”. For “Ghost” they chose Lee Yeon Hee to become female detective, Yoo Kang Mi, on investigating crime cyber division, and of course as the leading female she will get involved on romance with her cold-hearted colleague, detective Kim Woo Hyun (So Ji Sub).

Ghost will follow up “Rooftop Prince”,  and will  start running on late-May.

Finally it’s become real, after considered the script for a couple days, On March 13th, So Ji Sub agreed to become leading role on SBS’s science-investigation drama “Ghost” (유령). Yay..there’s another good news this year!!!

As I revealed before, on this drama So Ji Sub will act as a genius police officer on cyber crime division, Kim Woo Hyun , with his high intelligence  he solve so many cases. He is so perfect on work, but not on social life, especially on love relationship.

The schedule of filming hasn’t been revealed yet but planned that “Ghost” will follow up “Rooftop Prince” at SBS start on late-May.

Hail for 2012! This year so many actors and actresses I love are coming back on small screen.  Recently there’s a rumor that So Ji Sub got an offer from SBS’s new drama, “Ghost”.

For about two years he’s just been busy on movie (Only You) and some photoshoots for pictorials (published essay photo books) and ads.  Frankly, I didn’t put any special attention for his latest drama which he acted alongside Kim Ha Neul “Road No.1” (2010) since it was war drama, and too gloomy for me. So I’m really longing for his comeback this year.

“Ghost” come from “Sign” director and writer, and they still on thriller investigation theme. “Ghost” tells about cyber crime investigation. Woohoo…so, our hot guy will appear as detective investigation here??? Oh please make it real!!!

This drama is planned to follow up “Rooftop Prince” on May.

"Ghost" Asian remake

Without a full consciousness that i was seeing two great Asian stars, Song Seung Heon and Nanako Matsushima, the picture just instantly reminded me of the old “Ghost”. Then I seek for some old images and look what I found:  a very similar concept and gestures…just the clothes style are different, well, that’s what they call as “west” and “east”.

In 2010 this handsome actor in would be very busy with two movies projects, they are “Love and Soul”, which is a remake of “Ghost”, and “The Invincible” which is a remake of “A Better Tomorrow” (Hongkong movie).
He took viewers attention through his impressive acting in “Autumn’s Tale”(2000) and I think it’s more than okay to put a high expectation in his next performance in “Love and Soul” with Nanako Matsushima.
In “The Invincible”, even though it’s made a little bit different from the original movie, is still in action genre. And Song Seung Heon is clearly good in fighting skill as we had seen in “East of Eden”(2008) where he played as a Korean mob frontman.
