My favorite two Korean superstar couples: Jang Dong Gun-Go So Yeong  and Yeon Jeong Hoon-Han Ga In. They’re gorgeous and lovely as always! The real fashionistas and fashionistos always know how to dress.

I don’t know if you agree with me or not, but I’m a bit disappointed on the way these actresses dressed that evening. I know it’s summer and coming single to a wedding is a bit sad, but that doesn’t mean you should look less-stunning. Kim Tae Hee looked surprisingly simple and plain! She’s adorable in that dress, but she’s Kim Tae Hee and I expected her to be…fabulous! At least Cho Ji Woo made an effort to look simple and casual, but still shone her superstar aura. Han Hyo Joo also looked simple and a bit boring with that dress.

Therefore, my most favorite dresses in that event are Go So Yeong’s  mini black lace dress and Han Ga In nice cut-black dress. They’re true fashionistas. But if I have to choose the best overall look, I think I go with Han Ga In. I don’t really like Mrs.Jang Don Gun’s shoes.

Between July 2nd until 8th, one of the movie and entertainment site held a poll for the best actress who guested on “Running Man” lately. On July 9th the result revealed to the public. Han Ga In voted on the first place, shegot 484 votes from 1259 respondens or about 38,4%. Han Ga In appeared on “Running Man” when her drama “The Moon That Embraces the Sun” gained the highest popularity earlier this year. She looked so cute but she did the whole physical mission very well.

On the second place there’s another queen from “The King 2 Hearts” Ha Ji Won, with her  aegyo Ha Ji Won voted by  325 voters (25,8%),  Kim Hee Sun on third place, got 95 votes (7,5%),  then followed by  Son Ye Jin (6,8%) , Choi Kang Hee (7,4%) , Kim Min Jung (3,6%) , Kim Sun Ah (3,1%), Lee Da Hae (2,9%), Lee Min Jung (2,7%), Lee Yeon Hee (2,6%), and Oh Yeon Seo (1,8%). I think it was a very difficult choice. They all are really good actresses. Each actresses has  a fun character that make each episode of “Running Man” became very interesting and hilarious. And two thumbs up for “Running Man” personnel for they were able to make these actresses willingly got sweaty and sometimes dirty.

But for me, the best guest on “Running Man” until the latest episode is Big Bang. The episodes were so hilarious and full of tense, especially battle between Haha and G-Dragon, and TOP looked very handsome in those episodes, right Rizz???

The romantic drama movie “Introduction to Architecture” put all the characters together in one poster now after the separate postcards poster. They all sit together with styles and expressions represent their characters. Uhm Tae Woong looks cool and easy going, Han Ga In looks charming, Suzy looks cute and innocent, and Lee Jae Hoon looks very typical nice boy. The movie is about dealing with first love and the option of hold it back or let it go. The writing in poster says: “We were all someone’s first love.” This movie will be released on March 22.

“Introduction to Architecture” is a drama movie tells about the 15 years memory of first love through a journey of Seung Min, the architect played by Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Je Hoon, with his client slash first love Seo Yeon, played by Han Ga In and Suzy. Seo Yeon  is going to renovate her old house in her hometown in Jeju Island and the architect in charge is actually her past love, Seung Min. As they start their journey together, memories of their past love came back into surface and they have to face their unfinished business related to their relationship.

Uhm Tae Woong and Han Ga In look harmoniously very casual, while Suzy and Lee Je Hoon look cutely fashionable.

“An Introduction to Architecture” released the main posters. The posters look like  postcards, featuring the four leading roles, Uhm Tae Woong, Han Ga In, Suzy, and Lee Jae Hoon. I love the postcard concept for these posters, there’s a bonding with the movie theme which is to recover the relationship and find the lost-love again…

Uhm Tae Woong alongside with Han Ga In for present-couple, and Lee Jae Hoon pairing with Suzy to present the couple in the past, young Seungmin and Seoyeon. “An Introduction to Architecture” tells about re-blooming past love. Seoyeon (Han Ga In) asked her old friend, the architect Seungmin (Uhm Tae Woong), to renovate her old house in  Jeju. Then finally they both make a journey together to Jeju, their hometown.

The journey bring them to their memories together and unfinished business, about 15 years ago. On the poster for past-couple written “perhaps…will it be possible to love?” then on present-couple poster wrote “perhaps…will it be possible to love again?”. So this journey is a second change for them to reveal their true feelings towards each other.

This romantic movie will be released this spring.

On January 2nd, the fiction sageuk drama “The Moon That Embraces The Sun” held press conference. This drama is ready for airing the first episode on January 4th on MBC. The whole casts attended that event wearing the traditional custom, they are, Han Ga In, Jung Il Woo, Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Min Seo, Song Jae Hee, Song Jae Rim, Yoon Seung Ah, and more.

Besides discussing about the drama, the main casts, Han Ga In, Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Il Woo, talked about their involvement and their personal thought. In generally they’re really excited acting in this drama. They like the  idea about love story on royal family.

Han Ga In wearing the shaman costume, instead of looking creepy she looked so pretty. Besides asking about her character, the reporters also asked about her husband’s opinion about her younger-handsome co-workers, Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Il Woo, because on this drama Han Ga In will be involved with these guys on triangle love story.

Just for information her husband is also (my favorite) actor, Yeon Jeong Hoon (Vampire Prosecutor). She said that she and her husband don’t talk about their jobs often, but she thought Yeon Jeong Hoon will be happy with her role in this drama, but jokingly she hoped her husband got jealous.

Kim Soo Hyun is really serious about her role, as fictional Jeoseon’s king,  King Lee Hwon. For him it’s a tough challenge, as a king must be thoughtful, with serious expression, and he was banned to laugh and it was difficult for him.

He realized that his acting ability is still lack was but he wanted to always learn about acting to the other casts.He even admitted that for his role he took Song Joong Ki as his role model. He thought Song Joong Ki’s act as the young King Sejong on “Tree With Deep Roots” was pretty good. But he promised that he would show the different image for portraying King Lee Hwon.

In this drama, Han Ga In will play as a young shaman, Wol. Before becoming the shaman her name  is Heo Yeon Woo. She is the King Lee Hwon’s first love. They know each other since they’re young. But one day they have to separate because Heo Yeon Woo suffered from a strange disease and has to kicked out of the palace. Then after a long years they meet again, but Heo Yeon Woo has become Wol, the shaman, and Lee Hwon has become the King. With their status, their love is no longer easy…ouch..i feel pity for this couple..

Actually, the reason I’ve been waiting for this drama is because the second leading man, Jung Il Woo. He will play as Lee Hwon’s step brother, prince Yang Myeong Goon. He also will fall in love with the mysterious shaman, Wol.

No need to rest for him, after ‘Flower Boy Ramyun Shop” now he wears hanbok for “The Moon that Embraces The Sun”. This time his role is not too different from his real character, but becoming Prince Yang Myeong Goon he has to be more emotional. Even though he’s smile, he’s sad inside. Oh writer and director, i hope you won’t make him suffer on this drama, how could you make this cute guy be hurt?

MBC’s new sageuk drama, “The Moon That Embraces The Sun” (해를 품은 달) on December 29th published three posters with different concepts. The Moon to represent Han Ga In’s character, Wol, the shaman, and The Sun to represent the King Lee Hwon (Kim Soo Hyun).

On the first poster, Han Ga In is behind the veil till only appear her silhouette intended to describe Wol personalities, a beautiful shaman with mysterious life. Actually before the shaman, Heo Yeon Woo (Wol’s real name) was a daughter from noble family who got an arranged marriage with the king, but the arranged marriage failed, then finally she decided to become a shaman.

Meanwhile the second poster shows the main topic of this drama, the love story between the King and the Shaman. The last poster shows the four main characters. Besides the King and Shaman, there’re also prince Yang Myeong (Jung Il woo), and the empress Yoon Bo Kyeong (Kim Min Seo). I think this poster aims to show the conflicts that will arise on this fantasy drama.

The photoshoot for this posters took place at Yangju Cultural Garden on December 22nd. The official said that even on the cold weather the four leading roles, Han ga In, Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Il Woo, and Kim Min Seo looked enthusiastic and excited during the photoshoot, from evening until midnight.

Kim Soo Hyun loves his character as King Lee Hwon. This role is an honor and challenge for him. He looks so serious with his work. While for Han Ga In, she’s really excited to be acting as a shaman. It’s also a  challenge for her. This is the first time for her to appear on a sageuk project and to wear the shaman costume.

This fiction melodrama is based on Jung Eun Kwol’s novel with same title “The Moon That Embraces The Sun”, and will start to broadcast on January 4th.

These are pictures from script reading session of “The Moon that Embraces The Sun” that was held on December 25th at Ilsan Dream Center. On cold weather and Christmas day, the whole casts  gathering for the first time, Han Ga In, Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Il Woo, Kim Min Seo, Kim Yeong Ae, and more. They had to work during holiday but they still looked very enthusiastic. The friendship and cheerful atmosphere created among the casts.

This is a sageuk fantasy drama that tells about love story on royal family in Joseon era.

On December 26th, the official announced that on Christmas day Jung Il Woo attended to the script reading session of MBS’s new drama “The Moon That Embraces The Sun” (해를 품은 달) or “The Moon and The Sun”, and it’s means finally Jung Il Woo positive to play on that drama.

Actually at first that part was prepared for Joo Won,  but unfortunately he’s still busy on ‘Ojakgyo Brother”, then the official offered the script to Jung Il Woo who just wrapped “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop”. After reading that script, Jung Il Woo agreed to appear  on that fantasy sageuk drama. He loves the story and his role. He will play alongside Han Ga In, and Kim Soo Hyun, and too bad it seems that Jung Il Woo will be back on his expertise, as second leading man.

This drama is based on novel “The Moon That Embraces The Sun” by Jung Eun Kwol was published on 2005. It tells about about love story between King Lee Hwon (Kim Soo Hyun) and the princess slash shaman, Wol (Han Ga In). Jung Il Woo’s character is Prince Yang Myeong who is the King’s step brother who also loves Wol..oh yeah..the fantasy triangle love story on Joseon era..too complicated…

“The Moon That Embraces The Sun” will start airing the first episode on January 4th.
