anyway, let’s just start this final episode…

Shin insisted on lying about his injury to Kyu Won, who had figured out that Shin’s hand might be injured when he tried to catched her from falling the other day. Suk Hyeon and especially Yoon Soo were worried too. Shin wasn’t just an ordinary man, he’s a guitarist. If something happened to his hand, it’d be a lifelong nightmare.

Kyu Won was informed that she’s going to UK as soon as next month. She need to learn so many things there, from musical to get a training in vocal, jazz dance and ballet. The training would last 6 months and after that she’s ready for her debut. The recording company thought that it’d be better for Kyu Won to drop out school, but Kyu Won thought that’s not a wise idea. She’s just gonna have a one year leave.

Meanwhile Shin found out his hand got a serious injury. The injury was reaching the nerves. The doctor suggested a surgery as the best way. Shin asked if after the surgery he could still play guitar. The doctor couldn’t promise him anything because the after effect was different in each patient.

Kyu Won gave Shin her passport photograph. She asked Shin to hold it well. Kyu Won said she’s sad everytime she thought about leaving Shin for quite a long time. But Shin said today they have internet and video calls. He pretended that he’s not that sad to be apart from his girlfriend.

Suk Hyeon and Yoon Soo were also leaving as soon as the next day morning flight. They’re visiting important people to give them their last greeting.

The doctor told Shin to have as early surgery as possible in order to avoid the injury getting worse. He suggested next week schedule, but Shin asked for next month. The doctor thought that wasn’t a good idea.

Apparently Shin didn’t want to run the surgery while Kyu Won was still around. She could change her mind and refuse to go to UK.

Suk Hyeon called Shin for a meeting. He was suspicious about Shin’s hand injury. Shin told him everything, including the surgery schedule, but asked him not to tell Kyu Won.

Shin went for a date with Kyu Won. He dropped the ice cream bowl. Kyu Won was getting suspicious, especially with Shin decided not to perform at Catharsis for awhile.

Kyu Won met the producer saying that she’s not going to England. She was giving up the whole thing because she knew someone needed her to be on his side. Then she told Shin about her giving up her career opportunity.

Shin asked why she did it. Kyu Won said, “Aren’t you unwell? How can I leave like this?”

Shin said his hand was fine. And then surprisingly, shin decided to break up with her. Kyu Won asked for his reason. Shin said that they’re having different vision and their heart might change as well. “I don’t think I can wait for you.”

But look who cried that night…

Shin undergo the surgery without Kyu Won knowing anything about it. She left for england with a hard feeling because Shin dumped him, not because she knew Shin was hospitalized. Shin had told anyone, even his mother, not to tell Kyu Won anything.

A year had passed…

Kyu Won started her career as soon as she came back to Korea. And now a year later she became a famous musical singer. Her musical album was successful.

Shin’s condition was getting better. But he’s back to his gloomy days. He’s been pratice playing guitar again, but still couldn’t perform at Catharsis. Everyone was expecting him and The Stupid on stage again.

Shin’s mom was promoted to be the Chief Editor and she asked Kyu Won’s dad to work for her in the magazine.

I forgot to tell that in the previous episode, Jeong Hyeon showed her interest in traditional music. Apparently she became Lee Dong Jin’s student and got very serious involve in formal trainings.

Suk Hyeon and Yoon Soo came back to Korea. Soo Myeong told them that he’s with Sa Rang. However, besides his improvement with Sa Rang, nothing else in his life had changed. not even the broken car.

Hee Joo’s mom never lost her faith on her daughters. After being disappointed by her eldest daughter, she started to push her youngest one, Han Yeong Joo to go on auditions and undergo a strict diet. Tae Joon got the news about Hee Joo’s younger sister was going for the audition and he’s still the same as always. He’d do everything that would please the Madam.

After a year Kyu Won turned out to be like Hee Joo a year before in terms of dancing ability. She’s so great…and looked sexy. Suk Hyeon came by to visit her and offered her a role in his new project. Kyu Won asked who’s gonna be incharge for the music. Suk Hyeon told her he wanted Lee Shin to do it and asked if she’s okay with that. Kyu Won said she’s okay.

Suk Hyeon asked Shin if his hand was getting better. Shin said his ability in playing guitar was not as best as in the past, but he’s still practicing. He also asked Suk Hyeon not to never mention about his surgery to Kyu Won because it didn’t matter anymore. They’re all over.

Suk Hyeon offered him the musical project and told him he would probably work together with Kyu Won for this project. The musical title was “Naughty Love.”

Everyone came to the reunion with Suk Hyeon and Yoon Soo. Those who’re involved in the last year’s performance came, except for Kyu Won and Shin. With Sa Rang already with Soo Myeong, her two loyal followers got a new member, a girly boy. Hee Joo was obviously with Joon Hee. While Gi Yeong…looked like he’s still single. What a waste…

Kyu Won was looking for a poem book on her book shelves when she saw Shin’s dad’s album. Then she decided to give it back to Shin herself.

Shin juts took the album and said, “Just go home” after that before he left. But again, look  who ended up crying alone…

Shin gave Suk Hyeon the music but he said he wouldn’t take anypart at the project. Though he denied it not because of Kyu Won, Suk Hyeon kind of knew the truth. Shin said the guitar sound wasn’t perfect and he’s not ready to listen to people’s criticism.

But he’s back to the Stupid practice room. His band mates were so worry for him. However, they still couldn’t perform at the Catharsis yet. Shin wasn’t confident yet about his guitar playing.

Kyu Won asked for a meeting with Shin. She asked him to participate regardless their bad history. But Shin told her he’s not participating not because of her. He then coldly asked her not to call him anymore.

Kyu Won was badly drunk at Catharsis after Shin’s harsh rejection. She’s still broken hearted. Bo Woon decided to call Shin to pick Kyu Won up. But apparently it was Kyu Won’s dad who came. He told Bo Woon that Shin told him about her call.

But Shin waited in front of Kyu Won’s house looked so worry. After sending Kyu Won to bed, Kyu Won’s dad came out to talk to Shin. He said, “It seems like you still worry about her. Can’t you two start all over again? I don’t want the two of you regret it in the future, just like what happened to me and your mom.” He said it only needed one of them to be brave and take the first lead. Shin didn’t say anything and just left.

Suk hyeon gave Kyu Won the music for the project without telling her it’s from Shin. When she asked who wrote the song, Suk Hyeon just said “A stupid kid.” She listened to the song and all of the sudden the past memories she had with Shin burst out on the surface of her mind.

It’s too late to regret now/ It’s too late to beg you to stay/ already used to havign you by myside/ though not knowing this is love.

Cannot call out to you again/good bye/ leave behind this lie.

Let’s get along as friends…

Kyu Won finally figured out that the song was written by Shin. She went to Suk Hyeon for confirmation. And Suk Hyeon just couldn’t hold himself anymore not to interfere. He finally told Kyu Won the truth and everything that happened to Shin in the past year.

Kyu Won passed by the Stupid practice room and saw Shin was practicing. She couldn’t hold herself and went in. “Yah, Lee shin. You jerk! Why didn’t you tell me anything? I left to UK with my heart hating you. Now i’m going to continue hating you for more.” And then she left.

Kyu Won went to places where she had memories with Shin. And apparently Shin also did the same. They went to the place where they waited for the rain when Shin was broken hearted for Yoon Soo.

Kyu Won also went to the woods where Shin took her away when the scandal spread out at campus.

And look whom she met in the middle of the way.

At first Shin still looked cold and hesitate and full of doubt. But look who made the first movement and embraced the other? Shin held on Kyu Won tight, saying  “I missed you.” Kyu Won said, “Me too”.

Then Shin looked her in the eyes and said, “I love you.”

And then they kissed…

And went to Catharsis together. The Stupid made their first come back and had Kyu Won sang the soundtrack song.

As the closing, Shin sang the anthem of “You’ve Fallen For Me” for Kyu Won and everyone.

In short sentence, it’s a happy ending.

The angelic-hearted Kyu Won did give the stage to Hee Joo. She knew Hee Joo wanted to perform so badly and everything, except for the singing, would seem to be a better performance with her as the leading actress. So Kyu Won gave her the stage and her voice later on the performance.

When everyone gave their last salutate to the audience, Shin went down the stage to the back stage. He wouldn’t let Kyu Won cried alone. Shin embraced Kyu Won saying, “You’ve worked hard, Lee Kyu Won. Even though you didn’t perform on stage, for me you’re the best leading actress i’ve ever had.”

Hee Joo and Kyu Won became good friends. Hee Joo was grateful of Kyu Won. So when her mom brought media to interview her, Hee Joo told them the truth. She said she wasn’t the one who’s singing, it was a lysinc. “It was her,” she pointed at Kyu Won. So the media rushed to Kyu Won to interview her. Hee Joo was too grateful to be envy of the attention Kyu Won getting.

Shin  switched his bear with Kyu Won’s. It seemed to show that he loves her more and more after he witnessed Kyu Won’s wonderful heart. Yeah, she’s like pretty inside-out.

Kyu Won had a little trouble with her grandfather because of the performance –precisely no performance of Kyu Won. He told her to prepare for the traditional music competition.

Hee Joo prepared herself for the surgery. Joon Hee was there for her and seemed like taking over Hee Joo’s mother. Like when Hee Joo asked if the anesthesia wouldn’t hurt, Joon Hee answered it faster than Hee Joo’s mom. Even when they both wanted to say “don’t worry” to Hee Joo, Joon Hee oversped Hee Joo’s mom.

Joon Hee told Hee Joo not to be afraid by thinking about happy things, like the word happyness, cleanliness, blue color, fresh fragrance…

Kim Suk Hyeon wasn’t staying at the university for good. He’s thinking about going back to Broadway. And at the same time, the producer he met before contacted him again and asked if he could continue on the plan to Broadway and offering an opportunity to the Windflower and the Stupid to record an album. The concept should be a fusion music and he wanted Lee Kyu Won sings for them.

Kyu Won and Shin were having date when suddenly they each received a phone call, telling them that Kim Suk Hyeon was summoning them back at school.

And everyone was so excited when Suk Hyeon informed them about the producer’s intention to record an album for fusion music of the Stupid and the Windflower.

After some discussions, the collaboration group didn’t hesitate to start practicing. They chose the ending song from the previous performance.

Meanwhile, Suk Hyeon was planning to propose Yoon Soo that night. He asked some help from Gi Yeong and Soo Myeong. But unfortunately, Soo Myeong’s old car did get along with the plan.

Kyu won lied when her grandfather called her. She didn’t mention about practicing with the bands. But Grandpa Lee was no fool at all. He suddenly appeared at the practicing room and took Kyu Won away.

Suk Hyeon’s plan to propose Yoon Soo in the most romantic way turned to be total failure when Yoon Soo found the ring before he even showed it to her. But Yoon Soo let him do the proposal anyway. And she asked him to sing her a song before that.

Suk Hyeon sang her a lovely song. And then got down to his job. They’re finally officially engaged.

Shin didn’t want to be helpless about Kyu Won forbid to sing for them. He decided to contact Kyu Won’s dad and asked him for help regarding Grandpa Lee.

Kyu Won’s father begged his father to let Kyu Won continue on the “western” musical and let her decide her own future. But Kyu Won knew that her granfather was as firm as a rock when he already set his decision. Kyu Won didn’t want her father and grandfather be on a fight again when their relationship was showing a good progress. And she decided to continue on gayageum and be a good kid.

Sa Rang and the gang and Soo Myeong plus Gi Yeong made a visit to Hee Joo at the hospital. Hee Joo was still unable to speak. Joon Hee stayed at her side and be her personal nurse just like a pro.

Well, their friends thought of it more like a volunteerly-slavery of Joon Hee. All Hee Joo needed to do was order him with a sign language and Joon Hee would do it right away. It amazed everyone.

Even Soo Myeong and Gi Yeong went speechless and just made this overwhelmning expression:

Joon Hee said he’s very experienced in assisting sick people in the hospital because his mother was hospitalized for quite a long time before.

The situation just upset Sa Rang. She thought that life was unfair between her and Hee Joo. Hee Joo was rich, pretty and had a loyal boyfriend. “I might be a traitor in my past life to be in this kind of state,” she cried.

But Soo Myeong finally made his move. He said a senior gave him 2 tickets for a show, he asked Sa Rang to go with him. Sa Rang was so exicted, but unfortunately her followers misunderstood the situation and decided to come along. Gi Yeong couldn’t hold his laugh and told Soo Myeong, “It’ll be so hard for you to get a girlfriend before they (the two followers of Sa Rang) get boyfriends.”

Kyu Won was ready for the gayageum competition. She was on the waty to the toilet when Shin suddenly appear in front of her. Shin offered her a run away. The recording audition started in the same time as the competition. Kyu Won decided to flee with him.

After calling her dad and explained everything, Kyu Won was in a full confidence. She was about to take off with Shin when she tripped her step because of the hanbok and Shin was trying to catch her, but the landing was rough. Shin held the load of both his body and Kyu Won’s with his left hand.

Shin started to feel the aftereffect. He felt something wrong with his hand and it felt hurt when he played the guitar. So when the audition started, Shin failed to show his best guitar playing.

Kyu Won sensed the problem, but Shin lied and tried to convinced her that his hand was okay, nothing really serious.

Because of her bold action, Kyu Won was expelled from her grandfather’s house.  He father would figure out the way to let her back at home, but meanwhile she had to stay at a friend’s home. And the best thing about having a friend just next door was you actually don’t have to go anywhere far. Kyu Won’s dad asked Shin’s mom to let her stay overnight at their home. Shin’s mom was of course so welcome.

Shin’s mom went out of home and Jeong Hyeon was not really happy with Kyu Won around, so Kyu Won decided to make herself busy by cleaning the table. Shin was so surprise finding his girlfriend at home.

They decided to share the ramyon for dinner.

And after that, Shin invited Kyu Won to see his room. He showed Kyu Won his dad’s album and they listen to his music together. But then Shin turned it off after a while and decided to give the album to Kyu Won. At first Kyu Won refused to take it since it’s very valuable for Shin. But Shin said he didn’t want to end up learning how his father doing his music and tried to be like him. He wanted to do his own music.

“You can return it to me when I’ve done my debut album and become a cool famous guitarist,” said Shin.

And yeah, you know…couple will always be couple. Whenever there’s a chance they’ll think of making out or sort of…

But look who interrupting:

The next day the Stupid and the Windflower received a bad news. The recording company said their was good, but since they’re students, their musical was still lack of substance. But goodnews came to Kyu Won. The company offered her to sign a contract to be a singer. She’d start right away and the company had planned for her training abroad.

Kyu Won and her father came begging to Grandpa Lee to let Kyu Won came back home. The grandfather had heard about Kyu Won’s become a singer. In his own way he said she’s Lee Dong Jin’s granddaughter so she should do it very well and not to make any trouble.

Shin decided to consult with doctor for his hand. The doctor thought it had to be an injury, but they’re running a further examination to confirm everything.

Kyu Won met Yoon Soo and Suk Hyeon. They both congratualted each other and then decided to watch Shin’s performance at Catharsis before going out for a double date.

Shin was planning to be absent from the performance that night because his hand was getting hurt. But he didn’t say anything to the stupid about his hand. He only told them that he’s a bit unwell.

But as soon as Kyu Won and the couple Yoon Soo-Suk Hyeon appeared among the audience, Shin changed his mind and went up to the stage. He was doubtful about his hand’s condition and Kyu Won sensed there’s something wrong with him. She thought about Shin’s hand.

And just as soon as the intro was about to begin and Shin started to play his guitar…he just couldn’t hold the hurt. He went down and scream out the hurt.

The final episode is ahead of us. I can’t believe that we’re here already. Time does fly. I was actually abit upset that the drama had to turn out this way, but if I had been the writer, I would probably have done the same thing for the climax. I mean Shin-Kyu Won relationship went smooth, but life is about conflicts right, especially life in dramas. So they found one and here we are witnessing Shin’s career at the edge of a cliff while Kyu Won is ready to fly.

Suk Hyeon ran to the office to ask for explanation from many people. He went to the chairman of the school, but he said he couldn’t do anything about it. Then he was after Hee Joo’s mom, but the wicked queen said the performance had been causing so much problem since the beginning, that’s why she didn’t want to have a rumour spread out. Suk Hyeon then asked Tae Joon if he’s behind it all. Tae Joon of course denied it.

When Suk Hyeon delivered the confirmation to the kids, they’re very upset. Sa Rang and the gang cried out histerical.

Everyone told Joon Hee to call Hee Joo to ask her what’s actually going on. Hee Joo turned off her phone, so Joon Hee came to her house. He asked her if she really didn’t want to do the performance. Hee Joo lied saying she didn’t. But Joon Hee said,”I trust you. I’ll wait for you to come back.”

Shin was comforting the very sad Kyu Won. He said that she could participate again next year. Kyu Won said she wasn’t sure about that, but the director wouldn’t be there next year so she’s not participating. Shin then said, “Well, at least you’ve found Lee Shin, the most famous guy in the university.” When Kyu Won told him to stop being arrogant, Shin said, “I’m not arrogant. I’m just that great.” Yeahhh, whatever, shin

Suk Hyeon suddenly got a phonecall from an agency man. He heard about the cancelation of the performance and that’s why he’s offering Suk Hyeon to go back to Broadway to let them have a particular play to be performed there.

Shin went home and told his mom what’s going on. Then his mom said that it’s a common thing happened even in her time. She said she and friends then came up with an idea of performing ilegally in front of the school and got trouble for that. And that information just gave Shin a good idea.

Shin immediately share the idea with Kyu Won, and the next morning they both rushed to the school to convinced the other kids to persuade Suk Hyeon to support them. But Soo Myeong came with a bad news. The director was about to off to Broadway.

The kids told Suk Hyeon their plan. Yoon Soo back them up. Sa Rang and the gang made a dramatic beg. Suk Hyeon finally decided to stay.

Then it’s time to talk to the chairman and the other professors. Suk Hyeon insisted on doing this even without any sponsors. All he needed was the chairman’s permission to proceed. He said as an alumni he wouldn’t do anything that would damage the school image. Watching Suk Hyeon determination and Yoon Soo loyal to his side, the chairman gave his permission.

Suk Hyeon then told the kids that their next problem was the funds. Kyu Won was thinking about holding an auction, but Shin had a better idea. He gave his earning from Catharsis performance. And then Sa Rang also gave up her nose-surgery money.

So everyone could start preparing for the event. They started making posters and continue on practicing. And as for Kyu Won, she still needed to practice her dance under Yoon Soo coaching. She worked so hard for this.

On her way home with Shin, Kyu Won felt the after-exercise pain. So Shin let her have a seat to rest and he volunteerly gave her a foot massage. Oowwh, what a boyfriend! Kyu Won was touched, so she decided to gave Shin a quick kiss on the forehead.

In the same time, Kyu Won’s dad and Shin’s mom was on their way back home together when suddenly Shin’s mom tripped her step. Kyu Won’s dad offered her to give her a hold on the hand, helping her walk. That’s when the two pairs met on the street.

Shin’s mom told her son that he need nothing to worry about. She had no other-than-friends relationship with Kyu Won’s dad. Kyu Won’s dad told his daughter that the woman was his first love, but they had moved on. So the kids shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

Kyu Won and Shin shared what their parents told them. Kyu Won said to Shin that she might be his noona if their had married back then. She said because she’s 3 months older than him. Shin then offered to sing a lullaby for Kyu Won. Ahh, this is what you get when you have a musician boyfriend who loves you so much?? Okay, get me one, please..

The Windflower and The Stupid performed together at Catharsis to promote the performance’s ending song. The result was quite cool.

After the show, as always, girls were after Shin. But strangely this time, he let himself taking pictures together with his fans. My reaction was like: “Yahhh! Have you taken the wrong medicine or something?!!” Shin definitely has changed A LOT.

Kyu Won just watched from afar and gave him this look:

Back home, Lee Dong Jin finally let his son live at home again after getting through some “agreements”.

Han Hee Joo made a lof thoughts. And then on the day of her surgery, she decided to come to the practice a school. She had Joon hee helped her fled from the hospital.

Hee Joo came in the middle of the practice, causing the tense in the atmosphere when she said the performance wouldn’t go without the leading female. Shin stepped to the front, “Han Hee Joo, are you crazy? You quit without saying anything and now you come and saying this?”

But the decision was on Kyu Won. And yeahh, Kyu Won acts naive as she always does. She let the show for Hee Joo.

Shin went after her to tell her that if she wanted to cry, she could cry in front of him. Shin had been doing a great job as a boyfriend.

Suk hyeon talked to Hee Joo and said that she’s actually a bit annoying this time. But Hee Joo kind of knew her place and told him that she’d teach the still lacking Kyu Won. Kyu Won at first quite reluctant practicing under Hee Joo’s coaching. But in her synical way of speaking, she encouraged Kyu Won to do the best for the performance.

Suk Hyeon just found out about how serious Hee Joo’s illness was when Hee Joo’s mom burst in his office and told him that her daughter could lose her voice forever if she sing just once again. Suk Hyeon then came to Hee Joo to ask her why she never told him this and made he felt so worry. Kyu Won found the news overwhelming. Han Hee Joo wasn’t the villain in the story. She just a pitty girl who suffered alone.

After the last practice that day, Suk hyeon told the kids to have a nice dinner and a good rest to prepare themselves for tomorrow’s D-day. Everyone was so exicted.

The day of the performance had finally come. Suk Hyeon made a brief encouraging speech for the kids before the show. He said after all these times, the day had finally come and so he believed in the kids and wish them for the best.

Shin came to the make up room to share his nervousness with Kyu Won. Shin was so nervous. Kyu Won then said, “Wasn’t it you who taught me that everytime you get nervous, all you need to do is just to take a look at the audience and say the spell: you’ve fallen for me?” She did it the same way Shin did to her:

“Lee Shin, fighting!”

The performance finally started. Many students and families come to watch the show. People was so surprise when Han Hee Joo appeared instead of Kyu Won. What actually happened?

Then suddenly Gi Yeong did this in his performance???

What the… I thought this cutie youthful drama would be free from the “topless man scene trend”, but apparently I was so wrong.

And there we came to the closing part when the leading roles had to do the duet. Shin made a very cool guitar solo performance for an intro. Everyone who knew Hee Joo’s condition was so nervous. But apparently Hee Joo did the lipsync with Kyu Won singing on the back of the stage. Shin kept looking to the place where Kyu Won singing in hide place. And Kyu Won sang the song with a tear on her cheek.

Apparently Kyu Won had contacted Hee Joo on the last minutes, giving the stage to her. I’m very upset of that angelic-heart idea. I mean, no one should ever give her stage to other person when she had put a lot of effort on it. I could feel Shin’s desperate feeling and Kyu Won’s sadness…Too much sacrify for Kyu Won who had put so much effort for the show all these times..

Anyway, in the last episode, Kyu Won decided to go home with Suk Hyeon. But apparently Shin also came along. Kyu Won told her angry grandfather that she really wanted to perform in the event. Surprisingly, Grandpa Lee just fake-upset asked for the director name and his contact number.

Shin waited in front of Kyu Won’s house the next morning. He asked if the issue with her grandpa was okay. Kyu Won said everything was fine. And then strangely, Shin seemed like following Kyu Won to campus (with an excuse that he had left his bike at campus)…even after they arrived there.

Han Hee Joo asked to talk to Kyu Won. Kyu Won congratulated her sincerely, but the ruthless Hee Joo told her to quit the drama for two reasons: Kyu Won had no place in the play and Hee Joo just simply hate seeing her around. What a girl

Shin came to the class in an obvious high spirit mood that morning. His bandmate was even confused.

Kyu Won stole the press attention that they put her on the feature news, even though the leading role went to Han Hee Joo. That didn’t please Im Tae Joon. He was more encouraged to do his plan of having another group for the event as the competition for Suk Hyeon’s.

For that he needed Yoon Soo. He said other than Hee Joo he didn’t care and Yoon Soo was an ambitious person, so he thought she’d take his offer.

Hee Joo was bad-mouthed by the three mean girls. They said that Kyu Won’s was better than her. She cried alone under the tree, but Joon Hee saw her crying. The way he sooth her upset feeling was nice. He just put on the old ‘don’t cry’ song in the headphone on her, wiped her tears and just sat there accompany her.

Kyu Won went to meet Suk Hyeon in the practice hall while Gi Yeong was practicing. Kyu Won asked to withdraw from the drama and just join her group for the music team, but Suk Hyeon turned up scolding her for playing tantrum because she failed to be the leading role. She’d stay in drama team till the end.

Kyu Won was so upset that she even ignored Shin when they passed each other. Shin said she didn’t have to pretend they’re strangers. Shin asked for the collaboration practice in the bad timing. Kyu Won said she couldn’t do it that day, but Shin thought it was just one of her ways of rejecting him so he ended up upset.

Yoon Soo was about to tell Suk Hyeon that senior Im was stabbing him on the back, but Suk Hyeon had excused himself hurriedly for a meeting. Yoon Soo decided to meet senior Im and told him that she couldn’t do such a thing. She’d stay on Suk Hyeon’s side.

Prof. Mi Ran was very exicted about Shin-Kyu Won musical collaboration. She told them to practice together and she’d love to watch it. Kyu Won told her that the Windflower had to perform for a charity event. So that’s Kyu Won’s reason that Shin didn’t know. Prof. Mi Ran told Shin to go and see their performance and give some help in carrying the instruments.

The Windflower perform for the elderly people. They loved it that they couldn’t hold not to dance. Kyu Won went down to dance with them. And Shin with his “i watch from a far cooly” attitude didn’t last long when the grannies dragged him to the dance floor.

After the show they had drink together with the grandpas and grandmas, but Shin of course refused to touch the alcohol. So Kyu Won drank for herself and for Shin, since the elders kept pushing him to drink. The result was bad: Kyu Won was badly drunk.

Shin: “Lee Kyu Won, do you sleep?”

Kyu Won suddenly woke up and said: “Lee Shin, you annoying jerk!”

Then she just fell asleep on his shoulder.

Shin had to carry the drunken Kyu Won on his back all the way home. Kyu Won was the kind of person who speak out her heart while being drunk. She said, “Shin, you stupid. I want to forget you but you keep appearing in front of me. You stupid.”

Shin did his job till the end. He laid Kyu Won on her bed and then went home in a cheerful mood.

Joon Hee rode Hee Joo home. Her awaited anxiously in front of the house and didn’t look very please with Joon Hee. However, Hee Joo seemed to start sincerely like Joon Hee. She even let out the words “thank you”, but Joon Hee pretended not to hear it.

Kyu Won thought of going to campus before Shin because she was embarras after what happened last night. Her granpa told her Shin back-riding her home. But Shin had waited for her at the front door. He boasted of having three bottles of pain release mineral for his back ache. “Three bottles!” he made it notice.

Im Tae Jun apparently was under Hee Joo’s mom order. She insisted of having her daughter as the only one under the spot light. She ordered him to eliminate Tae Jun from the performance no matter what.

Shin did a revenge by getting Kyu Won summarized his traditional-music-learning from a stack of books. Kyu Won couldn’t refuse because Shin brought up the you-owe-me-for-the-piggy-back again. Shin left but just to enjoy the show. He smiles alot in this episode.

Apparently it’s Kyu Won’s birthday. Her friends had set up a suprise together with the Stupid (minus Shin, of course) after their collaboration practice that night.

Grandpa Lee contacted Suk Hyeon. They quietly watched the groups practice their music. And Lee Dong Jin came up with the idea that he’d help them in the music. He’d be the tutor for the two groups.

Kyu Won came early to the practice hall. She only met Shin there. while waiting for the others, Shin asked her if gayageum had the same sound structure as guitar. Kyu Won then gladly share him an “introduction to gayageum”. she told him about gayageum’s parts.

Right after the practice, Bo Woon and friends left Shin Kyu won alone for an excuse of buying some drinks. And then suddenly the light went off.

But another minute the surprise came in. Shin looked shock and disappointed in the same time that he didn’t  know anything about the surprise and Kyu Won’s birthday.

They had some fun together. But Shin didn’t personally said happy birthday to Kyu Won until they’re left alone. Kyu Won said thanks and about to step down the chair when….whoooops, she tripped and fell down the stairs!

Suk Hyeon was still stucked with the too-excited grandfather when he got a phonecall from Shin. Shin informed him about Kyu Won, so they both rushed there.

Suk Hyeon brought Grandpa Lee home to pick up Kyu Won’s stuff since she needed to stay at the hospital for a few days because of the mild fracture on her ankle and rib, but nothing really serious. Shin stayed and nicely gave a hand.

Kyu won asked him to tell her some jokes. And when he tried to throw some jokes, Kyu Won just coldly said he had a very bad humor. Shin was upset and offered to get her something to drink. As soon as Shin went out, Kyu Won burst out laughters. “You’re so cheesy, Shin.”

Suk Hyeon offered himself to be the one who send Kyu Won’s stuffs to hospital and let the grandpa rest that night. When he arrived and told Shin to go home and let him be the one watching over Kyu Won that night, Shin refused to do it. But eventually they’re both sent out of the room by the nurse since none of them were her family. It’s Korea, you know… The two boys ended up having coffee together. But Shin seemed to have Suk Hyeon as a competition to show care to Kyu Won.

The next day Shin went to the hospital early with an excuse that he needed Kyu Won to explain him about the summary. He made Kyu Won explained it over and over again, playing fool by saying he couldn’t understand it yet, but ended up falling asleep during Kyu Won’s lecture.

The Stupid and The Windflower who had a plan to cheer up Kyu Won were surprised finding Shin there. But the genius had his good reason, right? So the pack told them that they’re going to catch some fresh air.

They went to campus to play fireworks. But the security found them so they ran away to avoid being catch. Shin and Kyu Won apparently had run to an opposite direction from their friends.

Kyu Won was busy talking about how fast Bo Woon ran when Shin suddenly said, “About liking me, don’t give up.”

Kyu Won was like, “What??”

Shin then bent on his knees and repeated his words, “About liking me, i said don’t give up.”

Wait wait wait…did Shin really say that?? Oh no…are they gonna speed up on their romance? I don’t think so. We’re still early on the show, still half way down. And anyway, was that the best way Shin could think of to confess his feelings to Kyu Won?? Well, let’s see what the next episode give us.

Hahaha…that ending scene with the fireworks background did look cheesy

In that rainy night Kyu Won was kind of slapped on the face that Shin was crying in another woman’s arms, not hers. It hurt her for sure, but that scene was really a wake up call for her.

The next day Shin rush to Yoon Soo’s office to invisibly return her umbrella. He was about to put the umbrella in front of Yoon Soo’s office and left when Suk Hyeon came. The director said his condolences and Shin accepted it casually. When Suk Hyeon asked if he’s about to meet Yoon Soo, Shin said no.

Kyu Won’s friends asked Shin if he had seen her since she didn’t come to school. Shin just coldly said no. Then he heard that Kyu Won was looking for a necklace on the grass field the other day.

The next day Kyu Won came to school. The first thing she had to do was dealing her issue with Shin. She approached Shin and told him that she found the necklace and then gave it back to him.
Kyu Won then said, “I will do what you told me. From now on,no matter whom you like, or how much you hurt, i won’t give any concern anymore.”
Shin: “What?”
Kyu Won continued, “I don’t like you, anymore.”

And that’s the end of their master-slave agreement.
But before she left, Kyu Won still said her condolences to Shin though she said it would probably have no meaning to him. Kyu Won was leaving, but Shin suddenly raised from his sit and called, “Lee Kyu Won, thank you.”
Kyu Won turned back and said, “That’s the first time you call my name.”

Kyu Won was challenged by suk Hyeon to go for the leading female audition. Kyu Won didn’t have any confidence at first, but she agreed to give it a try at last.

I’ve been wondering what’s the real acquintance Gi Yeong and Hee Joo had. Here we found out that the incident when Gi Yeong decided to run away from his previous play, Han Hee Joo was the leading female. She felt kind of humiliate, to be left by the leading man right before the show might feel like being left by a groom on the isle.
Hee Joo asked Gi Yeong if he had over come his stage fright problem, of course in a ruthless way. Gi Yeong said he’s working on it. And just before he left he said, “I thought your ruthless manner made you look cool, but now you look pitiful.”

Prof. Hong Mi Ran had Shin for the show’s music scores. The music should be a fusion of modern and traditional. And Shin didn’t at all see Kyu Won coming as his “professor-recommended” help. Shin said it’s okay if Kyu Won didn’t want to do it, but she said it’s okay she’d do it. And Kyu Won was being hard on him from the beginning. Shin had so many things to learn about. And she suggest their practice together started soon.

And while they’re practicing, Shin started to have this look toward Kyu Won:

Suk Hyeon announced about the leading female audition. Hee Joo was of course signing up herself. And Kyu Won finally rised her hand too, saying she’d go for it as well.

The collaboration practice between the Stupid and the Windflower was getting better everyday. Joon Hee then suggest a dinner out together. Kyu Won refused to come along at first, but when Shin hurriedly excused himself, Kyu Won didn’t refuse the second offer. Shin found Kyu Won wasn’t going home like she said but went with the others for dinner. He was disappointed so he decided to came along too.

Shin caught Kyu Won eating like crazy and told her to eat slowly otherwise her stomach would feel awful. Kyu Won said everything would be okay. But in the middle of their sing in the karaoke, Kyu Won started to feel bad in her stomach. She went out running to the toilet and Shin went after her.

Kyu Won was throwing up in the toilet when Shin came and did this:

Oh, no! Was he really patting her back??

Shin helped her got the tissue and told her to stop acting stiff in front of him. He said it’s okay.
And then he was back on his feet and gave Kyu Won her hand.

Oh, no!

But it wasn’t Kyu Won’s hand he’s asking. He asked for the tambourine since it seemed to burden her .Kyu Won was thankful and embarass in the same time.

Shin walked Kyu Won to the bus shelter. He’s acting like a real gentleman. Kyu Won thought they’d go home in a separate way, she got the bus and Shin got the bicycle. But she was wrong.
Shin decided to get on the bus as well, murmuring, “Taking the bus to home is not bad at all.”

Lee Dong Jin caught Kyu Won’s drama script. He finally knew what she’s been up to and threw the scripts away. Shin found them in front of the house.Kyu Won was locked in her room.

Suk Hyeon just finished holding the “unplanned” press confrence when Soo Myeong told him that Kyu Won didn’t show up anywhere at campus today.

Shin also heard the same news from his bandmate who overheard Bo woon and the others talking about Kyu Won had a trouble with her grandfather. Shin immediately rush to Kyu Won’s house.
But Suk Hyeon with his car was definitely faster than Shin’s bike.

Suk Hyeon tried to persuade Lee Dong Jin, but the old man’s decision was as solid as an iron.Suk Hyeon failed his diplomacy and he was needed in the audition. He had no option but to leave.

Shin pretended to walk past him just like he’s heading home. But he decided to ask Suk Hyeon what time the audition started. Suk Hyeon told him, “It’s at 5 o’clock.” They only had 20 minutes left.

Shin didn’t actually know what to do to help Kyu Won, but then he met his sister. Jeong Hyeon was paid to make a distraction for Grandpa Lee. She came in to the house and pretended to need him teaching her about Korean traditional chess. She succeeded to make Grandpa Lee believed she needed the chess board. So when he left the room to get the chess board, she released Kyu Won. Shin was waiting for him out side. The fled from the angry grandpa.

After Hee Joo’s audition, Kyu Won hadn’t arrived yet. Prof. Im was about to leave, but Kyu Won finally showed up. She started to sing this sad song.
“No matter how hurt you feel now. As time passes by, another thing will come.It will be like this. I will forget you.”
She sang the song with tears coming down her cheeks.

Everyone was touched by her singing. And Shin was somehow one of them. He recalled the memories he had with Kyu Won. From his expression, I think I can tell that Shin was really really touched and seriously rethink about Kyu won’s sincerity to him and his own feelings towards her.

However, the voting resulted Hee Joo as the leading female. Kyu Won was disappointed a little, but everyone acknowledge her talent was actually better than Hee Joo. She also got her friends and Suk Hyeon’s encouragement.
I like to see him ruffle Kyu Won’s hair. Very brother-sister like.

And then came Shin reminding her about the angry grandpa.Kyu Won was about to rush home when Shin offered her a ride. (Oh, no!)

Kyu Won refused him with some reasons, but surprisingly Shin insisted on taking her home.
Kyu Won didn’t give him a chance. And then Suk Hyeon offered a car ride to her. He said, “It’d be better reason for the director to take you home.”
And Kyu Won take that offer and left Shin standing there…..disappointed.

Oh i’m so excited about this episode and the next one. Too bad that Shin Hye had to have that aftereffects so epiode 8 was postponed. But through her twitter, Shin Hye said not to worry about her condition that she’s fine. She’s back to work early this weekend.

I heard that the collaboration of The Stupid and the Windflower made these groups have to live together in the same dorm to  work on the music. Ooooh I’m hardly waiting to watch the next episode….

Shin Hye, fighting!!

Our two leading roles went home in streaming-tears faces for a broken heart. Shin had to face the reality that Yoon Soo was back to Suk Hyeon’s arms and Kyu Won had to be rejected before any confession.

Shin went to visit his father first before going home. You know, sometimes boys need their dads over their mothers. So when Mr. Lee found Shin was there, he right-guessed him straightly, “Is it about girl?” Then he played a soothing music with his guitar for Shin.

Shin mother naively thought that Shin wouldn’t find out about the real identity of Lee Yeon Soo. But Shin finally told her that he had known he was his biological father.

The next morning was still bitter for Shin since he had to watch the romantic scene of the newly reunite couple, Suk Hyeon and Yoon Soo. His heart was still aching and had something to find out. He asked Yoon Soo what she liked from Suk Hyeon. Yoon Soo didn’t want to answer the question at first, but Shin insisted. She asked him back, “Fine. Why do you like me then?”
“I like everything about you,” said Shin.
“Yes, that’s right. That’s the same thing with me. I like everything about him,” said Yoon Soo coldly and then left.

Meanwhile, Kyu Won kept preparing coffee for Shin. Gee, after all those tears the night before?? She must be a B blood type person. She even waited for Shin loyally in his bicycle parking. She had no idea where he was while actually Shin was having the time of his own on a peaceful grass field. He decided to throw the necklace away, the necklace he gave to Yoon Soo.

Senior Im told Suk Hyeon that he approved Gi Yeong’s comeback since he wanted to give that boy another chance. But he said he wouldn’t approve Kyu Won. The leading female had to be Han Hee Joo because she was the chairman’s daughter. He said the campus still need money, so this kind of politic matter. Hearing this Suk Hyeon was upset. He told him that they hired him as the director for the event, so he could do whatever he wanted to his play. The stage is his realm, didn’t gave a damn on the campus politic.

Kyu Won and Lee Shin were missing and that caused the training canceled because without the main guitarist and gayageum player they couldn’t practice. Suk Hyeon was furious. Kyu Won kept tailing Shin, worrying him.

“Do you see yourself just now? You’re a mess,” said Kyu Won.

Surprisingly, Lee Shin said he was giving Yoon Soo up. That’s why he did this walking around under the rain. He needed to clear his mind. He’s ready to let her go. Shin stopped there and turned around. Then he went back to approach Kyu Won. He took the gayageum with him.

They waited for the rain in front of a music shop.They didn’t say anything to each other. I think Shin accepted Kyu Won’s presence as a comfort for him.

This scene reminded me of a movie…but unfortunately i forgot which particular movie it was.

Kyu Won and her granfather were having they regular holiday at home when a rude kid came, without saying any formal greetings to the elder, asking for a hammer. She’s the girl next door, the new neighbor. She asked in an impolite way that it made Grandpa Lee upset and said they didn’t have any hammer. Jeong Hyeon was about to leave when she accidently bumped into a pot. The ceramic pot dropped and broken into pieces. That’s grandpa Lee’s favourite.

Instead of saying sorry, Jeong Hyeon fled. Grandpa Lee tried to catch her to her house and that made the two families met each other at last. Kyu Won’s try to avoid Shin to find out about her being their neighbor failed when her grandpa pushed her to confront Jeong Hyeon who’s hiding behind her big brother, Shin. And then came out the mother.

“Oh. Aren’t you Mr. Lee Dong Jin? You may not remember me, but it’s me Seong Yi Jeong. It’s been along time.”

Grandpa Lee’s memory was dragged into the time when his son brought home a woman whom he introduced as his future wife. That time grandpa Lee didn’t approve them, just like he didn’t approve Kyu Won’s dad musical preference. Seong Ji Yeong was blamed as the girl who dragged his son into western music.

The next morning Kyu Won actually waited for Shin. But when Shin went out, she awkwardly said that she came to tell him about the community and the community activity and where-when the community gathering was held.

Kyu Won asked for apology to Suk Hyeon. He gave her some advices and made her promise not to repeat the same mistake in the future otherwise he had to dismiss her from the performance.

Shin just acted cool when he passed by Suk Hyeon and Yoon soo. Suk Hyeon called him, asking why he didn’t come apologizing with Kyu Won. In a very plain tone Shin said that he wouldn’t do that kind of thing anymore, skipping the practice.

Shin’s dad summoned Kyu Won’s dad to the hospital, saying he had not much time. Lee Yeon Soo asked Lee Seon Gi to take care of Seong Ji Yeong. He said that after he’s dead, there’d be no one to make him hold his feelings to her anymore. However, Kyu Won’s dad got very angry and asked him if he had a little remorse of what he had done to his life and Ji Yeong’s.

“If you want to go, just go quietly,” said Yeon Soo.

The hundry Jeon Hyeon made use of Kyu Won’s cooking ability by lying that Shin told her to cook him something to eat. But when the food was served, Shin wasn’t eating. She’s so fool.

Lee Yeon Soo might not be a famous guitarist, but he had a recording disk of his work.

The next day at campus, Kyu Won reminded Shin that the next day would be her last day become Shin’s slave. He should tell his sister about it too. Shin told her about finding a necklace on the grass field, but soon he took it back.

However, Kyu Won still made her friends helped her finding the necklace. She lied to them that the necklace was hers. The necklace wasn’t yet to be found.

Shin was called by his mother to attend someone’s funeral. He stayed very cool when he found out it was his own father’s funeral. But before they went back home, Yeon Soo’s wife gave Shin the guitar and the notebook.

Shin’s life seemed to be broken apart that day. Shin asked his mother at home if the alcohol poisoning illness that caused his father’s death was hereditary. His mother couldn’t be sure about that. Shin then stayed in his room crying all day, recalling the short memories he had with his dad.

Jeong Hyeon kind of knew that his brother’s father just passed away. So the Lee children were aware that they came from different fathers.

Everyone at campus was wondering why Shin didn’t show up in the campuss the next day. The Catharsis’ owner just volunteerly told Suk Hyeon and Yoon Soo who came for drinks that Shin’s biological father just passed away. Meanwhile Kyu Won got the news from Joon Hee when she went looking for him to the Stupid practice room.

Shin still in mourning mood. His mother came asking if he had anything to ask about his father or their past. Shin said he still didn’t have any and then took off to Catharsis.

He sang very emotionally the song “I Miss You”, which gave a very touching effect to the atmosphere.

Kyu Won kept looking for the necklace on the grass field. She was quite surprise when she finally found the necklace and reckoned it was girl’s necklace. She assumed it was the necklace he had given Yoon Soo. Kyu Won was then informed that Shin showed up in Catharsis. But when she got there, the band had already finished their performance and Shin had gone home.

But Shin didn’t go directly home. He was giving himself a private time to be alone. He’s sitting under the rain in front of the music shop, thinking in a miserable look. Yoon Soo saw the scene from the street and just couldn’t deny that she cared for him, so she pulled aside her car and approached Shin to give him an umbrella (which was actually quite unnecessary since he’s already soaked).

When Yoon Soo was about to go, Shin took her hand, got himself up, and then held her tight then cried. He didn’t say anything but cry and cry hard.

Kyu Won arrived late. So she had to watch the scene from a distant with a heartache. Her prologue: “I wanted to be the person who came to him and said that everything would be alright. But now he’s in somebody else’s arms…”

Oh, Kyu Won, didn’t Shin tell you that he may be giving up Yoon Soo to Suk Hyeon but that doesn’t mean he’ll turn to another girl? This episode is too teary. It started with tears from both leading roles and unfortunately ended with the same thing.

Hopefully the next episode we’ll find a new page of each Shin and Kyu Won’s lives. I bet Kyu Won is a B bloodtype so it won’t be difficult for her to always cheer herself up, but Shin…hmmm, he could be an A and if that’s right, he’s character would be difficult to have a quick mood changing.

Anyway, heard that there’ll be no setback for the filming after Shin Hye got the accident. She survived the accident and just got back to work fine.

Episode 4 started with Shin who ordered Kyu Won to buy him a coffee, morning at campus. I think Shin enjoyed two things here: having Kyu Won as his “slave” and knowing her as an acquintance –if he didn’t want to say it as a friend.

Kyu Won reluctantly bought the coffee for Shin and she met Yoon Soo at the cafe. They walked together back to the campus and Yoon Soo asked Kyu Won if she’s an acquintance to Suk Hyeon. Kyu Won just casually said that they’re a sort of acquintance.

Shin and Kyu Won turned to be friends unintentionally and even if they didn’t admit it. Kyu Won asked for money for the coffee, but she ended up having no 20 cent change for Shin.

Kyu Won had a very hard time on her first day training for drama. The three mean girls who always hated Hee Joo came out dislike her as well. And Hee Joo didn’t want to make friends, with anyone.

And that’s Joon Hee time to have his own stage at Catharsis. He sang “Star” beautifully.

After the performance Shin hurriedly went back to campus after picking up a phonecall.It turned out to be an SOS call from Yoon Soo. Looked like she’s lock in the dance studio and she had a little trouble with her old injury (?) though she looked fine. She said she called him because she had no one else to ask for help. Blaaahh…I don’t really get this professor.

Kyu Won’s dad seemed to have a more than just friends feeling to Shin’s mom. They’re talking about Shin, worrying him that he might find out that his father was an alcoholic. they had no idea that shin had already known that man was his dad.

Shin paid a visit to his dad again. He needed his father to share his story about Yoon Soo. His father encouraged him to do what he thought was right so there wouldn’t be any regret in the future. His father then told him that he was once fell in love with his friend’s girl. He didn’t do anything at first, but then he decided to take the girl from his friend. Shin asked if they lived together at the end. His father said no.

Could he talk about Kyu Won’s father? But who’s the girl…Kyu Won’s mom or Shin’s? hmm

Shin informed his bandmates that he wanted to do the performance. Since it sounded so not him, his bandmates teased him that it must have something to do with Kyu Won.

Im Tae Joon never meant to hide his feelings for Yoon Soo.He asked her out for dinner. Yoon Soo was about to refuse at first, but Tae joon was very determined.

Kyu Won was bullied again by the 3 mean girls. Hee Joo was dragged along and the 5 girls ended up having the typical girly fight: pulling hairs. Suk Hyeon put them in schooly type punishment, the hands up punishment.

Hee Joo told Shin that the man Yoon Soo was once had a relationship with was Director Suk Hyeon.

I like to see Kyu Won-Suk Hyeon relationship. Instead of having the usual professor-student relationship, they had this kind of cool friendship of a sunbae and a dongsaeng. After giving punishment to Kyu Won, Suk hyeon came to console her. He even ruffled her hair, teased her that she’s suitable in that kind of hairstyle.

Yoon Soo watched the scene from a far, and Shin saw the way Yoon Soo look at Kyu Won-Suk Hyeon closeness.

In a very bad mood Shin came to Suk Hyeon. He confronted him, “Taking your girl and put her into a joke, was it fun for you?” Suk Hyeon was confused. Before leaving Shin confirmed him, “I like Jeong Yoon Soo.”

Suk Hyeon got a bad news: Gi Yeong got a foot injury. Nothing was serious but that guy had to rest his foot for about a month…which means he would be completely recover right at the time of the anniversary event.

Kyu Won brought Shin the coffee as usual, but he wasn’t in his regular place. She left the coffee at Shin’s spot. And Shin realized the coffee was left for him. Kyu Won left a note at the cup: “Applied Music Lee Shin. I spat twice at the coffee. Twae twae.”

Kyu Won thought it would be best for her to quit drama and just focus on the traditional music competition that’s just a few days ahead. She told Suk Hyeon it would be unfair for someone like her, who had no desire in drama at all, had to compete against many people who’s been trying like dying to achieve the dream in drama.

Joon Hee asked for a sip of Shin coffee, but Shin firmly refused to give it. He said, “No you can’t have it. Because someone had spat on it.”

“Such a cheapskate!” said Joon Hee. Shin just left with a smirk on his face.

Suk Hyeon went to look for Shin and then brought him to talk to Kyu Won. He threatened both of them by saying that Shin wouldn’t be able to perform if Kyu Won didn’t want to go for the drama. He told Shin to get Kyu Won back to the training.

Kyu Won asked Shin if he really wanted that performance and why. Shin said, “Because I want to see someone.” He also said he didn’t care what Kyu Won would do, he would still do the performance.

Gi Yeong still refused Suk Hyeon’s intention on giving him the spot in the drama. He said if Suk Hyeon felt guilty for him he should stop it right there because he wouldn’t go for it. Suk Hyeon didn’t even think of giving up on him.

Kyu Won finally decided to go back to the drama training. The mean girls just didn’t stop bullying her, even under Suk Hyeon’s eyes. The director was off his patience limit.Yoon Soo started to question the real reason why he obviously stood for Kyu Won. Suk Hyeon mocked her saying that as the dance trainer it was her fault. “Don’t tell me you’re just jealous (on Kyu Won)?”

Suk Hyeon then brought the girls to a theater where some performers did a rehearsal. He said those people never had any drama performance before, but they could have it through a very hard training.

He told Hee Joo that she’s yet nothing in drama industry so she had no right on seeing herself above everyone. He told the mean girls that having themselves just as make up artists didn’t mean their part was less important than anyone else and they shouldn;t look down at make up artist contribution. And as for Kyu Won, he told her that he’s picking her because of her heart not her talent, so she should work very hard.

So Kyu Won decided to work hard. She started to practice the dance alone, but Yoon Soo caught her and helped her out.

Shin saw these two girls practicing and drew a smile…

I think beyond his cosciousness, he always smiles everytime he looked at Kyu Won…a relaxing smile, a different smile he had everytime he saw Yoon Soo. I think the smiles he always had for Kyu Won was sweeter…

The next morning Kyu Won had a bad after-practice effect on her leg muscles. Shin caught her on the way to the campus. Kyu Won was ready for a mockery, but surprisingly Shin offered her a ride.

Wohoo… As I said before, this is what i like about Shin or his relationship with Kyu Won. He’s not that hypocrite cold-hearted man to Kyu Won…he just acts cool without being mean. So the offering was sincere.

The scene was funny… it’s in Kyu Won’s mind…

It seemed that she was really falling asleep all the way to the campus with her head was leaning to Shin’s back. So it was actually sweet that Shin let her sleep leaning on his back.

When they arrived at campus and Shin told Kyu Won to get off, all the girls around them stopped and gave a fierce stare at Kyu Won.

Kyu Won felt awkward at a sudden, but Shin just casually told her to get off. They’ve arrived at campus.

So with Kyu Won’s good improvement in her dancing, the training went well. Suk Hyeon apologized for his harsh mouth the day before and asked if they could get a dinner together. Yoon Soo refused at first (she had a promise with Tae Joon), but then quickly said she had bought a wine so they could have them together. She ended up lying to Tae joon saying she’s not feeling well so she couldn’t come.

On her way back home, in a cheerful mood knowing that Suk Hyeon was coming in the next hour, she caught Shin tailing her on his bike. She stopped and told him to stop doing that kind of thing. But Shin said he had something to give her as a birthday present: a necklace.

Suk Hyeon actually had bought her one too. He was planning to give her later that night, but Shin got her first.

Suk Hyeon found Kyu Won had trouble walking so he offered her a lift. On their way he told her that she would always had him, the director, on her back so she had nothing to worry about. Kyu Won always had that cute little-sister-like expression everytime she’s with Suk Hyeon.

But Kyu Won’s smiles suddenly stopped when she saw an inconvinient scene on the street…

Shin was kissing Yoon Soo.

Shin dropped by Yoon Soo’s place, waited for her to come from work. Yoon Soo reminded him that he should stop doing this kind of thing. Shin only said, “I met my father today. I just need to tell someone about it.” Before Shin left, Yoon Soo finally said, “It’s good for you.”

Suk Hyeon surprised the committee for the 100th anniversary uni event by saying that he had redone the plan for the performance. He said the theme would be about a girl who’s so obsess pursuing her dream that she even left the love of his life for that. But an accident happen to her and that made her wanted to come back. Since everyone there knew what’s going on between Suk Hyeon and Yoon Soo, they’re objected. Even the setting director said, “This is not a place for lovers’s quarrel!” Suk Hyeon’s senior, Im Tae Joon, told him to stop hurting Yoon Soo. But Suk Hyeon said that Yoon Soo was not as fragile as he thought and he would not stop what he had planned. He would do it till the end.

Shin And Kyu Won met the teacher for their reflection paper. The teacher asked if they’re lovers or one-sided love for Kyu Won. Of coursed Kyu Won said, “Nooo. that’s impossible!” The teacher made them read the reflection paper of one another. Shin read Kyu Won’s, and when it got to this part, it sounded very funny and Shin read it half-heartedly: “….I’m very very very sorry.I’m really really really reflecting on my actions.From now on, I’d never never never, for sure for sure for sure, do such a thing ever again.I will become a student who looks toward the sky without shame.”

And when it’s Kyu Won’s turn to read Shin’s: “The last class was very important. I didn’t tell you that I would let a useless student to be my subtitute…” Kyu Won glared at Shin asking whom he meant by a useless student. Shin teased her saying, “Lee Kyu Won, do you really really really really really don’t know?”

The teacher dissatisfied by their letters, so he sent them to clean up the drama department’s property room as their punishment. Shin, of course, left everything for Kyu Won. He said he’d supervise her.

Being in that prop room, Kyu Won was trying to enjoy herself rather then take Shin’s bossy attitude into her mind. She’s putting on a balaclava. Shin saw it and thought it’d be funny if she’s putting on a clown costume. Shin made Kyu Won put on several costume from a clown to snow white, but he’s entertained at all. Kyu Won’s step-tripped-behaviour happened again. And right after Shin asked if she’s okay, the light went off.

When the light turned on again, Shin’s face was only a few inches from Kyu Won. Shin was the one who immediately pulled himself backward. Shin’s tortured didn’t stop there. He told Kyu Won to fix his flat tire bike. It seemed that Kyu Won’s cursed on him the night before really worked.

Kyu Won half-heartedly brought along Shin’s bike to the mechanic. On her way out of the campus, she was stopped by Han Hee Joo who asked what her realtionship with Shin was. The bold Kyu Won asked her back the same question. Han Hee Joo was surprise that Kyu Won didn’t even know who she was. Before she left, she told Kyu Won to becareful on Shin’s bike since it’s very expensive.

Kyu Won brought Shin’s bike to Catharsis. There’s already Suk Hyeon in there, being ignored by Shin when he invited him for the audition. Kyu Won, on the other hand, seemed to be interested.  Before Shin left, Kyu Won threw his bike’s key to his back, saying that he should take a very good care on the tire because she’d worked hard on it.
I thought Shin would say some mockery again, but surprisingly he said, “I want to hear your gayageum play once more.” That’s a jaw dropping words to hear for Kyu Won.

Yoon Soo waited for Suk Hyeon on the parking lot. She just wanted to say that she’s not gonna give up. He wouldn’t make her stepped back.

The Windflower decided to go for the audition. Everyone was so excited preparing for the audition.

Except for one student…

Suk Hyeon asked for a student named Hyeon Gi Yeong to his senior. His senior said that young man dropped out of school and then attended the cram school instead. Suk Hyeon needed him for the performance. His senior was against it because that kid had been messing around the school and had a stage freight. But that kid seemed to have something special in Suk Hyeon’s eyes. Oh, he’s cute…

Hee Joo was picked up by Joon Hee in his “drummer” appearance. They rode the scooter, but then it was raining.

Hee Joo, “Hey, it’s raining!”
Joon, “You say you really like it?”
Hee Joo, “Drive fast! It’s raining!!”
Joon, “You say you’re hungry? I’m really really happy!”
Hee Joo, “I said it’s raining, you beggar!!!”
Joon, “You want to go out with me??”

The day of the audition finally came. The situation was tense. The judges were very strict.

Suk Hyeon’s friend, Lee Soo Myeong, was still trying to persuade Gi Yeong to participate in the audition. He tricked him by saying that the teacher had given him another chance.

Meanwhile Shin visited his father again to pratice guitar.

Hee Joo got a high fever because of the raining from the night before, so she couldn’t participate. Joon Hee was just looking for Hee Joo in the audition, but as soon as he heard that classic 80s country rock music, he burts on to the stage and dance along with the real particpiants.

Gi Yeong showed up, but Suk Hyeon’s senior just insisted that he could never perform on stage because of his stage freight. Suk Hyeon still had a faith on him, telling him that it was his last chance. The other judges summoned the next participant: The Windflower.

Kyu Won hesitated at first, thinking that the boy was still there. Suk Yeon himself was still trying to push Gi Yeong to show his true talent, but the other judges told Kyu Won and friends to start their performance. And when the Windflower started playing their music, they took a modern song I guess, Gi Yeong who was still standing on the side of the stage, closed his eyes and started to sing…very beautifully. This duy had a beautiful voice.

Joon Hee felt so guilty that Hee Joo couldn’t make it to the audition. Suk Hyeon refused to take Hee Joo just because her mother called them that she got a fever. So Joon Hee waited for Suk Hyeon at the parking lot, asked him to put Hee Joo’s name on the list or he would do anything to make Hee Joo paticipate in the event since she badly wanted it. Suk Hyeon still said no.

Joon Hee tailed Suk Hyeon. But then he got a better idea to let Suk Hyeon have an “extra” audition for Hee Joo. Joon Hee asked The Stupid to perform at a certain place, Shin ordered Kyu Won to place some candles for the performance, and Suk Hyeon got a note from Joon Hee that he should go somewhere to see something.

Then Joon Hee got Hee Joo out of the hospital without really telling her where they’re going or what they’re going to do.

Joon Hee was giving Hee Joo her audition. Suk Hyeon came to watch it.

The day of the announcment was full of cries and screamings, Kyu Woon and Bo Woon were one of them. They made it to the event. Gi Yeong’s name and Hee Joo’s as well were there.

Everyone whose name was on the list was summoned to gather in the hall for some announcement. Strangely, Suk Hyeon also summoned the Stupid. Strangely too, Suk Hyeon put Kyu Won at the “drama” section isntead of “music” section. So she’s gonna be trained for acting instead of playing music.

And Lee Shin was about to leave the hall when Yoon Soo appeared. He stared at her in a strange way of looking and that made Kyu Won curious.

“What is with this athmosphere?”

I like this drama more and more every episode, especially for Min Hyeok’s funny acting. His character as Joon Hee is wacky and Min Hyeok suits him well.

Last episode ended with Shin held Kyu Won’s hand to avoid her hitting him. His emotion was provoked too, so he asked, “Do you you know why this nauseating jerk has been chased by many girls?” Kyu Won said she didn’t want to know. Then Shin said, “Your music hasn’t touched my heart.” Kyu Won got angrier and told Shin a person like him didn’t know anything about tradition music. Shin seemed to be challenged. He said, “Let’s have a competition then. Let’s proof whose music most touch people heart.” Kyu Won accepted the challenge. If one of them lose, that person became a one month slave for the other.

Kyu Won tried to keep the competition thing for her group only, but unfortunately, one of her friends heard about it. So the rumour was spread very fast. He told everyone that Applied Music kids, The Stupid, had looked down on Traditional Music Department and they challenged Kyu Won for a competition.

So the personal competition had turned to be Department wars.

Suk Hyeon met Kyu Won at school and this girl  didn’t know yet that he’s one of the teachers there. Suk Hyeon handed her the thing she left at the bus shelter the night Prof. Kim died. They started to have a kind of friendship.

Shin just informed his bandmates about the competition with Traditional Music girls on their practice session. Everyone was surprised. The bandmates asked what actually happened, Shin said that they’re the one who challenged The stupid.

Joon was suprised when his Natasha came to their practice studio, looking for Shin. Han Hee Joo asked him back what he was doing there. Funnyly, she didn’t believe him when he said he’s The Stupid drummer.

Kyu Won still secretly kept in thouch with her dad, Lee Sun Ki. She told him about the bet and the competition. And she kept her relationship with her dad from her grandfather.

The Department war was getting more serious. Each department put on big poster about bringing down the opposite department for daring to look down at them. The Invincible Windflower vs The Stupid was a big competition.

Both The Invincible Windflower and The stupid practiced hard. Kyu Won kept thinking that they should perform something new, something more soul touching. Meanwhile Shin pushed his bandmates to keep practicing. The competition excluded singing, so they had to make a very good instrumental music.

Shin just found out that the sick professor Kyu Won and friends was trying to help had passed away. That information explained to him about why Kyu Won looked very upset the day he gave her the money.

Suk Hyeon came to Yoon Soo dancing studio and saw her fell down and felt down. Yoon Soo said she should stop dancing if it would just bring her nothing good. He said she should accept that she couldn’t dance anymore. I think these people have a very serious issue, relating to Yoon Soo’s accident 6 years ago and how their realtionship ended awfully.

And this is Shin’s room…the robots are cool :P

Kyu Won told his grandfather about the competition and the bet. Her grandfather then pushed her to practice very hard that he didn’t even let Kyu Won had a proper rest. He always became emotional everytime he heard about modern music people looked down at traditional music, that’s why he supported his granddaughter for the competition.

Joon watched Hee Joo practiced dancing silently and secretly. But Hee Joo found him and asked him why he was there. Innocently Joon said, “Because you said I couldn’t show myself in front of you anymore, so I watched from the back.” And then he offered her something to eat. Hee Joo refused at first, thinking about her diet. But at the end she took the candy bar.

Han Hee Joo was the daughter of the univerity chairman and disliked by many students for her behavior. Her seniors talked about her on the back, gossiping about her plastic surgery and bulimia. Han Hee Joo did have bulimia, but she didn’t admit it. She was throwing up the candy bar in the toilet when she heard her seniors discussed bad things about her.

The day of the competition everyone in each department was excited. They gave support to each of their department representatives.

The traditional music students made a parade for Kyu Won and friends, walking them to the competition stage. The Invincible Windflower girls looked like soldiers going to a war.

Everyone gathered on the outdoor theater to watch The Invincible Windflower compete with The Stupid. They’re ready for the music battle.

Shin said sorry for what happened to Professor Kim. This is what I call as a humane character. At first I thought he’d be the drama typical of a cold hearted man who acted cool for no reason. But Shin character is cooler than that. He had his reason to act cool, but that didn’t make him an inhumane person. It wasn’t even hard for him to say sorry.

The battle started. The host of the competition was the KBS’s “Let’s Go Dream Team” host. He said he was a shop owner at uni who closed his shop to be the host for this competition. 

The Stupid performed first and the blew everyone with their music. Even Kyu Won and friends had a sudden low self-esteem to beat such a brilliant performace. But when it’s time for Kyu Won and friends to perform they also awed everyone. Even most of The Stupid members dropped their jaw watching the beautiful performance. I bet Shin was actually also touched by Kyu Won’s gayageum performance…BUT

when Kyu Won was about to hit the most important chord, she broke her string!

And they lost. People liked The Stupid most. Kyu Won had to be Shin’s slave for a month. But I like it when Shin praised Kyu Won’s gayageum performance. He said she could’ve won if the string was okay. But an agreement is an agreement.

Lee Dong Jin who came to watch the competition gave his support to his granddaughter. He cheered her up saying she’s still the best.

Joon and Bo Woon went out for a dinner. But the ever-hungry Joon just couldn’t stop eating while Bo Woon actually didn’t have enough money. They had trouble for that and sent an SOS text, Bo Woon to Kyu Won and Joon to Shin, to help them paying for the food.

Shin and Kyu Won left alone after Joon sent Bo Woon home. Joon said Shin should send Kyu Won home. Shin asked which direction Kyu Won’s home was, but it was apparently just to make sure he should go to the opposite direction.

Shin mom got a phonecall from a woman who knew Shin’s father. She met that woman and that woman said she should let Shin meet his dad because his dad missed him alot and he’s in a very bad condition.

Kyu Won’s try to avoid meeting Shin in the campus turned helpless. Shin caught her hiding behind Bo Woon and he stopped her. In front of everyone he asked for her phone number. He said, “To let me order you anytime I want.” He did the phone number changing by himself in front of many jealous girls. As soon as he left, Kyu Won was attacked by those girls asking for Shin’s number.

And this is Shin’s father. He’s very sick, suffered from Parkinson I guess since his hand was shaking. Shin’s mom met him. He asked if Shin played guitar, she said yes. He said he hoped not because being a musician was lonely. He asked to meet Shin.

Kyu Won and Bo Woon were waiting for a bus when Shin and his sister passed by. Jung Hyun asked his brother if he knew that girl who stared at them. Shin said she was his slave.

Shin’s mom asked if Shin liked to play guitar that much. He said yes. His mom looked very worry. She asked her friend, who apparently was Kyu Won’s dad, if she should let Shin meet his dad. Kyu Won’s dad suggested Shin’s mom to let him.

Shin made Kyu Won attended a class for him because he’s going to meet someone. His mom asked Shin to meet a guitar specialist to help Shin improve his ability. Kyu Won caught by the killer teacher that she’s attending the class for Shin. She and Shin were asked to write self-reflecting essay to admit their mistake and not to repeat it again next time.

Shin met his father without being informed that the man he was meeting was his own dad. But looking at Shin’s tense expression and considering him as a music genius, I think somehow Shin already knew that man was a father he never knew. They played guitar together…which I consider as a beautiful scene of this episode.

Shin performed at Catharsis that night with a very touching performance. Bo Woon insisted Kyu Won to let Shin knew about their punishment for the skipping-class issue, so she brought her to the Catharsis. And when Kyu Won watched Shin’s performance with that emotional song…I think somehow, Kyu Won was very touched.

Will she fall for her eventually? At this very early of the show? We don’t know yet. I put a high hope to this drama since Moon Geun Yeong-Jang Geun Seok’s “Marry Me, Mary!” musical drama was quite disappointing. I really hope to see more good music and dynamic story line…
