After numerous attempts or perhaps it was because of the dirty looks she’s receiving from the unsettled crew, that she finally decided to get on with the job. Right at that moment, an uninvited guest, a stylish man with a certain weird charm walked into the set, took off his suit and started pouring water over his own head. As everyone watched in excitement, the man started washing his long hair with the shampoo. He absolutely enjoyed every moment that he actually ripped off his white shirt in ecstasy. The reaction from him was so great and natural that the director couldn’t resist but called it a good take.

 
It wasn’t until the man’s assistant came into the set that everyone started to realize he was in fact the president of Jangin Chemical, the number 1 company in the daily supplies industry, Lee Gun (Starred by Jang Hyuk). As we moved away from this first hilarious scene, we entered a family business gathering which is really just a meeting discussing when Lee Gun, the Jeonju Lee family’s 22nd generation only grandson, is going to get married and continue on with the family bloodline. To every elderly family member’s shock, Lee Gun have announced at the meeting that his girlfriend of 6 years is finally settling back in Korean and that he promise to be married by this fall.

 
Next, we see a lovely kind hearted lady who can never say no to anyone delivering breakfast and coffee at a law firm. Her name is Kim Mi Young (Starred by Jang Na Ra), an office assistant who describes herself as a post-it sticky note, needed by everyone, convenient but can be discarded anytime. As she continue her quest to try to keep everyone around her happy, Lee Gun is at a shopping mall searching for a proposal ring while daydreaming about her pretty girlfriend Se Ra (Starred by Wang Ji Won) who is currently on a plane heading back to Soeul. Daniel (Starred by Choi Jin Hyuk) also happen be be on the same flight and we got to see a glimpse of his handsome charm.

 
Back to the famous Mecenapolis shopping mall, Lee Gun had finally bought the ring for his proposal while Kim Mi Young bought a large bag of candies. Fate decided to let them cross path for the very first time, except for the wrong cause because Mi Young had made Gun lose his ring in the busy shopping mall. Mi Young as kind as she’s always been, did not hesitate to help Gun persuit for the runaway ring which ultimately led to a dog, a rottweiler to be precise chasing them all the way to a dead end. The ring was retrieved, but we got to see a “not so nice” side of Gun blaming Mi Young for having the ring on her finger because he believed that it was bad luck for his proposal and that’s when they parted ways.

 
However, good luck began to appear on Mi Young’s side as she won a competition at her office for a free stay at a luxury resort in Macau, the very same resort which Gun had planned to propose to his girlfriend Se Ra. At this moment, a lawyer at Mi Young’s office started approaching her with the impression of wanting to date, even though all the hints suggested that he’s not a genuine type and most likely a playboy. Regardless, his chasing techniques worked on Mi Young with her ultimately agreeing to take him on the trip to Macau.

 
President Gun headed over to Macau to prepare for his proposal plans inside the same resort that he and his girlfriend Se Ra had met for the first time. For some reason 2 freakish men appeared at the same hotel wanting to do some kind of revenge work on Gun over something that must have happened to their island, which obviously Gun has authority over. The 2 men planted some drugs into a bottle of sparkling water which eventually got lost in the pool features inside the resort.

 
Meanwhile, Mi Young and Lawyer Min also arrived in Macau and the moment they checked into their room, the playboy heard Mi Young praising about the casino. As playful as he is, Lawyer couldn’t resist the temptation and immediately headed out in search for the casino while convincing Young to take some good rest. Mi Young went looking for him soon after and that’s when she overheard Gun practicing his proposal speech by a water feature.

 
She immediately hid away from Gun’s eyesight but couldn’t resist to keep listening. At this very same moment, we see the bottle of drugged sparkling water flowing slowly towards Mi Young. As Gun continued to practice his speech, he suddenly heard some kind of noise behind him and started looking around. Fearing to be spotted, Mi Young somehow grabbed the drugged bottle of water that literally flowed in front of her and hid further away from Gun. As she recover from shock, she unwittingly opened the water bottle and began drinking it.

That is how the first episode of Fated to Love You have ended…

So what will happen to her?

For it’s high budget action-drama, “IRIS2” (아이리스Ⅱ) KBS gave time slot for the casts to open the 2012 KBS drama award 2nd part that held on 31 December, 2012. The casts, Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Beom Soo, and Im Soo Hyang, opened that event with their own way, they introduced their roles through their action and martial art abilities on the stage. I was just jaw dropping when Jang Hyuk showed off his martial arts technique, he looked so cool.

Not only brought live special performance from leading roles, for the first time the long teaser also screening.  The whole roles look charismatic, more of action, more of tense, and more of conflict among the NSS agent. Beside showing the new faces, such as, Lee Joon, Yoon Du Jun, Oh Yeon Seo,  Kim Min Jong from “Athena” also appears on that video, as well as Kim Seung Woo and Kim Yeong Cheol from “IRIS”.

“IRIS2” will start airing on February 13 for replacing “Jeon Woo Chi”. “IRIS2” becomes the most anticipated drama, since it’s sequel from 2009 hit drama “IRIS” that played by Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee.

The most anticipated drama from KBS for early next year “IRIS 2” gives progress, on December 26th, the main poster already revealed to public. The poster shows almost the line up characters, they look bold and charismatic with their expressions and Jang Hyuk and Lee Da Hae  as the center point,

Even though the drama is planned to be airing on February 13th, the stills already revealed since last month, they also has been wrapped the overseas filming process.

It seems that Taewon Entertainment really serious for the sequel project of IRIS. They already have signed papers from the top actors and actresses on their casts list. For main characters, they got the best duet, after “Robber” and “Chuno”, once again Jang Hyuk and Lee De Hae agreed to reunite on “IRIS 2”. And there are more actors and actress who already confirmed to become homme and femme fatale on this drama,  Oh Yeon Soo, and Im Soo Hyang,

For continuity, not only looking for new comer for this project, they also secured the names from “IRIS” and “Athena”, they are Kim Seung Woo, Kim Min Jong, Lee Jeong Gil, Yoon Je Moon and Kim Yeong Chul. those ajeossi-deul will reprise their roles.

Of course you need candy for this spicy drama, On “IRIS” they put “TOP”, and Choi Si Won for “Athena”. For “IRIS 2” they look more generous, not only one idol, but they chose Kang Ji Yeong (KARA) and Lee Joon (MBLAQ) to become partner on NSS.

Behind the camera, for this high budget drama, they already tie up two directors, the PD from  “Coffee House”, Pyo Min Soo, and “Athena” PD, Kim Tae Hun.

Even though for start airing on February 2013, Taewon Entertainment take the speedy steps to secure their project, and I think they haven’t closed the casting process yet, i bet there will be more names reveals.

Finally there’s more news from “IRIS” sequel project. The drama that’s planned to be released next year (about February) is looking for the lead character since Lee Byung Hun is too  busy with Hollywood project and seems to have no intention to be back as the agent again. Recently, the Taewon Entertainment has offered the role to Jang Hyuk.  There hasn’t decision yet, the actor is still under reviewing the offer. On “Chuno” and “Deep Rooted Tree” Jang Hyuk has proven his high quality acting, i hope “IRIS 2” will be his next project.

Back on 2009, “IRIS’ that’s played by Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee gained high popularity and high rating at the moment. On 2010 they already made the spin-off “Athena” with the A-class actors on the casts list such as,  Jung Woo Sung, Soo Ae, Cha Seung Won, Kim Min Jong, Lee Ji Ah, and Choi Si Won.

“IRIS” season 2 becomes the most anticipated drama for 2013.

The 2011 SBS drama Award was held on December 31st. Feels incomplete if I do not write a review about the red carpet event. Well, actually this is not my favorite red carpet, even though i like almost the  actors and actresses who came to that event like Lee Dong Wook, Choi Kang Hee, Lee Yo Won, Kim Sun Ah, Lee Min Ho, Ji Sung, and more. But seeing a bunch of actresses wearing the same pastel and plain dresses made me bored.

Im Soo Hyang, pretty but this is what I call a boring gown, she looked pale. I still do not understand the meaning of black ribbon on his left shoulder. But she’s still  lucky that she was helped by her clutch.

Jang Hyuk, and Ji Chang Wook, the senior was wearing bow tie and the junior was wearing the usual tie, but both looked neat and dashing.

Our host, Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee, looked so cute together. The design of Choi Kang Hee’s dress made their appearance lighter and fresh. I love Ji Sung’s hair color and Choi Kang Hee’s short hair, and i want her shoes.

Lee Dong Wook, even wearing a tuxedo he looked cozy and relaxed, didn’t stiff at all, maybe because his messy hair style and his beard.

Jin Se Yeon, she knew that the gown was t simple, she wearing the set of beautiful jewelry to cover it.

Jin Tae Hyun and Jung Kyung Hoon, with the almost identical hair style, the same bow tie and the same smile, these ajeossi, didn’t like risky fashion, so they are safe.

Jung Yoo Mi, still on pastel and khakies toned, plain.

Kim Jae Joong, almost perfect except his hair, the color and the style really hurting my eyes.

Kim Jung Min, maybe because of her job as red carpet’s reporter she decided to wearing the dress that are not too flashy. Actually the color was too pale for her.

Kim Rae Won, i just realized that you’re getting old ajeossi.

Kim Sun Ah, okay i admit that it was the best gown that night and frankly the best partner beside you. I love the color, love the design, and love how she was wearing it.

Lee Mi Sook, the gorgeous backless gown, and the hairstyle, rock on ajeomma!

Lee Min Ho, actually i almost didn’t recognize him, maybe because od his new hair cut and he’s cute with those fat cheeks.

Lee So Yeon, no more comment about black gown on red carpet, it’s the safest way.

Lee Yo Won, oh eonnie, why were you wearing the ajeomma’s dress? Thats made you look older.

Seo Hyo Rim, she pulled her hair back, because she knew that what made her gown look sexy.

Seo Woo, noooooooooo, it’s wasn’t dress actually. I feel pity for her, she needed a personal fashion advisor, but first she had to kill the person who suggested her to wear that thing.

Shin Hyun Bin, looked hot with red gown, but with that ribbon, this gown at some point reminded me about a Christmas gift that forgot to open.

Shin Se Kyung, pretty gown but actually no need any ornament. She looked gorgeous with that soft color.

Sung Hoon, the highly risk on fashion, high appreciation for his red velvet tuxedo.

Wang Ji Hye, on goddess-like gown she looked so stunning.

Yoon So Yi, with simple black dress and simple hairstyle she looked flawless. And i want her unique bangle.

I know that i’m late posting this article, but please forgive me, actually it’s still holiday for me.

Like other giant broadcasters, MBC and KBS, SBS, in the same time with KBS, on December 31th also held the 2011 Drama  Awards. So, to be fair, I decided to make a report of that event, too.

The Boss and the secretary from “Protect The Boss”, Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee, trusted to be the host for that event and they did their job very well, looked fresh, entertaining, and looked good together.

Frankly, I think there’s no competition that night, because SBS was really generous,  almost the whole actors and actress got the awards with so many categories which confused me. Everyone got a candy. Maybe this is just  SBS’s way to celebrate the closing year alongside their actors and actresses. And indeed,  so many actors and actresses came to that event, they are, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Sun Ah,  Lee Yo Won, Jang Hyuk, Shin Se Kyung, Song Joong Ki, Seo Hyo Rim, Wang Ji Hye, Jae Joong, Kim Rae Won, and more.

For the MC, Choi Kang Hee and Ji Sung, also grabbed so many awards due to their acting on “Protect The Boss” . And I love their chemistry together in here and in drama. They also deserved to get Best Couple Award, the right choice, because we need the cute and comical couple like them.

That night absolutely belonged to the historical drama “Tree With Deep Roots.” Almost the all main casts from that drama gained the award and  the drama also got the Top Excellence Drama Award. Butt the happiest actor was Han Suk Gyu who plays as King Sejong, honored with the grand prize, Daesang Award.

On his speech after saying deeply thankful for his parents who have given everything for him, he also said thank for the people who were involved in the filming production. First the scriptwriter, second the crew/officials, and the last was the audience (the fans), the drama can be successful because of them. And last but not least, he also thanked his co-workers on “Tree With Deep Roots”.

On the 10th day after officially released on September 22, “Crucible” took first place on Korean box office. On October 2, Gong Yoo-Jung Yoo Mi’s movie recorded over 2 million viewers (2,141,960 people).

back on 2005, this movie based on Gong Ji Yeong’s true story novel,  about sexual harassment happened to deaf students on a school in Gwangju. Not only praised because of the heartbreaking story, this movie is also praised because  its success to brought up a story from a novel into a motion picture.

Meanwhile, Jang Hyuk-Ha Jung Woo-Park Hee Soon’s movie “Client” is on the second place with 446,086 viewers.

This serious movie released a charismatic poster showing three leading roles, Ha Jung Woo, Park Hee Soon, and Jang Hyuk. “The Client” tells about a hearing process on courtroom of a murder case.

Jang Hyuk is accused of being a murder where the victim’s body is not found. Ha Jung as his lawyer is challenged to prove his client is innocent. It’s quite difficult since the important evident is still missing, the victim’s body. And not only struggling with the evident, the lawyer also had to deal with Park Hee Soon,  a charismatic attorney, on the courtroom. These guys are struggling to reveals the truth and find the justice.

This thriller movie is scheduled to be released on late September.
