Yay! Kang Ji Hwan is back to the business soon!

I don’t know (and i don’t care) the progress of his legal issue, but on January 4th already confirmed that Kang Ji Hwan will team up with Hwang Jung Eum on SBS’s up coming drama “Incarnation of Money” (돈의 화신).

“Incarnation of Money” is satire comedy that came from the same team behind of “History of Salary Man”. This drama tells about debtor  and the daughter of loan shark, as well as on “Salary Man”, once again money becomes the main issue here even can make people insane.

This drama is scheduled for airing on February 2nd, to follow “Cheongdamdong Alice”. Besides dying to see the witty gentleman, Kang Ji Hwan, back on small screen, I also loved “History of Salary Man” since the drama was so cynical and comical, so i’m waiting for this too.

This is too bad because maybe we will not see Kang Ji Hwan on any small screen, big screen, or even on musical in the close time. the actor is still stucked on his problem with his former agency, S Plus. Actually his contract ends on December, but since October, as de facto Kang Ji Hwan has been taken care by his lawyer, since he think that the agency not work properly as he hopes.

The situation makes both sides lose and blame each other. Both sides has already held a couple of meeting to reach the agreement, but they failed.

On November, Kang Ji Hwan refused mediation process that offered by CEMA (Corea Entertainment Management Association). Finally this month, the agency and Kang Ji Hwan as well decided to chose litigation process to solve their conflict. The agency sued Kang Ji Wan for unilaterally break the contract and demand compensation.

Legal battle is very long process and exhausting,  what a pity if Kang Ji Hwan wasting his precious time just for this,

No more surprised, before released on July 14th, Kang Ji Hwan’s comedy movie “Detective Cha” unveiled more teaser pictures. on latest teaser pictures and trailer only showed Detective Cha, Cha Cheol Soo (Kang Ji Hwan) on his messy and fatty body.

And after having a hard training from professional trainer, Go Yeong Jae (Sung Yoo Ri), Detective Cha becomes so…mmm…wow!!! Actually i’m speechless looking at the picture above…frankly i never thought Kang Ji Hwan can have a body as solid as that.

After publishing the mysterious D-line silhouette poster, up coming comedy movie “Detective Cha” (차형사) finally reveals the true face of that “sexy” figure.

Cha Cheol Soo (Kang Ji Hwan) looked as if he’s a fashionisto who appeared with patterned yellow shirt and yellow plaid pants, and as the good girl, surely i don’t want to comment on his scarf. Meanwhile, behind him there’s  Go Yeong Jae (Sung Yoo Ri)  as his trainer, the person who will transform his belly into six-packed.

One of his cases forced this  shabby and messy detective Cha to disguise as the male super model. Of course, before his D-line dissapeared he must go through the torture diet program with the cruel and strict instructor, Go Yeong Jae.

Cha absolutely didn’t know anything about runway things. His terrible appearance and miserable personalities are too far to be called as the runway model, but for the sake of his job, to solve the criminal case he tried so hard on the diet program. On the teaser looked how miserable he was to solve his overweight matter.

This movie seems like “Miss Congeniality” but on Korean male version. I need this movie, I bet this will be more hilarious, crazier, and wilder. And two thumbs up for Kang Ji Hwan. How could our perfect urban guy transformed into this pathetic person?!

“Detective Cha” will be released on May 31.

Do you remember this?? About the reunion project of Hong Gil Dong’s couple, Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yoo Ri, “Detective Cha”(차형사) . The teaser poster of this comedy movie has been released. Yeah..it seems the filming finished and the movie is ready to be released on May.

The poster really caught my attention. First time I saw this poster i didn’t recognize the object because it’s just a silhouette. After reading the article i still didn’t believe if the object is Kang Ji Hwan with his belly. He tries to look sexy with D-line.

Kang Ji Hwan plays as an undercover police. To resolve the case he has to pretend as a male super model, then to perfect his disguise, he must be intensively trained by expert,  Sung Yoo Ri’s character. So, there will be a really hard training for this overweight detective.

Are you the Hong Gil Dong’s fans? so this is absolutely a good news for you…yups..Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yoo Ri will be reteam on a new project, but this time not in small screen. they both will appear together on a new comedy movie, “Detective Cha”

From director of “Level 7 Civil Servant”, Sin Tae Ra, “Detective Cha” is another action comedy movie from him. This movie tells about detective Cha, played by Kang Ji Hwan, who is forced to go on an undercover mission as supermodel to solve a case. Sung Yoo Ri will play as designer who has duty to make over this detective to become a real supermodel on catwalk. So maybe this movie will not be different with “Miss Congeniality”, on male version and (i wish) more crazy because it’s Kang Ji Hwan, for me he is King of rom-com movie.

Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yoo Ri looked so adorable and charming as a couple on Hong Gil Dong, and i hope they still keep on that chemistry for this movie. “Detective Cha” begin to filming on this month so maybe this movie will be released on late next year.

On May 2nd, SBS released posters for their most anticipated new drama “Lie To Me”, which Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan play as leadings roles.

Gong Ah Jung (Yoon Eun Hye) and Hyun Ki Jun (Kang Ji Hwan) involved in marriage scandal just because a trivial lie. On the posters they both look good and cute. In this drama they have different status and personality. Besides posters, there’re also stills from kiss scene,  when Ki Jun is trying to kiss Ah Jung.

I just count the days to “Lie to Me” that will start airing on May 9th.

Kang Ji Hwan will act as a chaebol in the most anticipated drama “Lie To Me” on SBS. Hyun Ki Joon has served as CEO of one of the luxury hotels in the country. Actually I didn’t want to compared Kang Ji Hwan with Hyun Bin, but after seeing these photos my memory automatically back in our arrogant LOEL CEO Kim Joo Won. Right???

I hope they show different personalities because I think I’m quite satisfied with our arrogant CEO, Kim Joo Won, but if Kang Ji Hwan become as lovely as the legendary LOEL CEO, I will accept him gladly.

Yoon Eun Hye finally took off her black mini dress. She’s running in her latest drama “Lie To Me”(내게 거짓말을 해봐), therefore she needs a tracksuit. From the previous stills and this picture, I conclude that her role in “Lie To Me” is quite different from her real life as a fashionista.

Let see her appearances with a blue tracking suit (thanks god its not sparkling )… oh .. she looks so pathetic with her messy hair after running, but it was good, a proof that she was quite convincing as Go Ah Jung, a simple full-spirit girl.

It reminded me of the adorable Go Eun Chan in “Coffee Prince” (2007), because I thought the best (natural) acting from Yoon Eun Hye was when she becomes a simple girl who’s naïve but vigorous.
