Finally, on February 8th reportedly that Kim Ha Neul confirmed to join on “Gentleman’s Dignity”. Whoaaa…this drama will be the big fat drama project for 2012, because it’ll be starred by top actors like Jang Dong Gun and Kim Ha Neul, and also the great writer Kim Eun Suk.

For Kim Ha Neul actually this is not her first time working together with Kim Eun Suk. On 2008 she was one of the leading roles Kim Eun Suk’s another work, “On Air”.

But due to their domestic and overseas activities, the production has to be postponed and planned to begin airing on May. Besides Jang Dong Gun and Kim Ha Neul, i still don’t know about the other casts, i’ll try to update about that.

“Gentleman’s Dignity” is about middle-age love story, so with that idea maybe the plot will be more serious and  mature. But i hope even with those issues, this drama will be entertaining, light, and charming.

On December 5th, official from SBS announced that Jang Dong Gun was sure of his involvement as the leading man on Kim Eun Suk’s new drama “A Gentleman’s Dignity”. Jang Dong Gun has agreed to continue the casting process and begin negotiations with official, especially the writer, Kim Eun Suk.

“A Gentleman’s Dignity” tells about adult’s love story. Jang Dong Gun will possibly act alongside Lee Na Yeong. Actually, i don’t want to be happy too early, because there is still a possibility of changing casts and Jang Dong Gun has a very busy schedule. But,  if all processes run smoothly then this romantic melodrama will become SBS’s drama weekend  start on March 2012.

You know Kim Eun Suk? absolutely you know her, she’s one of the most successful drama writer. She’s the lady behind “Lover in Paris”, “On Air”, “City Hall”, and recently for the most phenomenal drama “Secret Garden”. for me, i really love her works on “On Air”.

It seemed soon she decided to come back with new romantic drama on 2012. And the great news is she will ask Jang Dong Gun, the movie specialist actor, to join on her new project. Jang Dong Gun will be take as main role on Kim Eun Suk’s new drama, title “A Gentleman’s Dignity” (신사의품격). from that title of course you need the real gentleman to act as gentleman, right? and it’s a very good choice becuase i  think Jang Dong Gun is the most eligible gentleman on Korea. or maybe “A Gentleman’s Dignity” created because of Jang Dong Gun’s charm?

On October 24th reportedly from Jang Dong Gun’s agency , Jang Dong Gun considers the Kim Eun Suk’s offer for a drama prject. He is still studying the scenario. If this project really happens, this drama will be the comeback project for Jang Dong Gun for (almost) twelve years!! His latest drama was “All About Eve,” first aired on 2000. Oh God please make it real…I can’t hardly wait for his comeback on small screen.

And if this project goes smoothly then this drama will start airing on March 2012, on SBS as weekend drama.
