In Hae was not waking up yet. Shi On felt guilty. And the problem didn’t stop there for him. When he visited his father, the old man asked him for forgiveness, but he just refused to do that. “I still hate you,” said Shi On.

And there’s another thing disturbing Shi On’s mind. He remembered how the male doctors were talking bad about Yoon Seo. He only shared it with male nurse Jo.

Yoon Seo got an invitation from her friend to go out on weekend. The friend said maybe they would go meeting some men after that. Yoon Seo was upset, telling her that she’s with Shi On now and she would take him with her on weekend. But when Yoon Seo told Shi On about this and invited him, he refused.

Something was bothering Dr.Kim’s mind. He’s so upset that In Hae was not waking up yet. He took Chae Kyeong to a church. They’re just sitting there, praying.

Shi On started to have a doubt of their relationship. He is even thinking of letting her go.

Meanwhile, the hospital politics just passed the climax. Dr.Kang turned his back on his ally and let the hospital alone. So everything would be fine for Chae Kyeong and her step mom (who are now getting along with each other well) and Dr.Choi.

Shi On told Yoon Seo that he and her were Peter Pan and Wendy who live in different worlds. Yoon Seo was upset. Shi On criticized her for getting upset easier now. “Well yeah because now is different between us. We’re no more brother-sister relationship,” said Yoon Seo. She just asked him to be more confident and trust her.

Their fight was not finish when they were paged. In Hae was still not waking up and her condition was critical. Everyone was feeling down because of this: Dr.Kim alone in his room, Shi On was in his station, Yoon Seo stayed with In Hae and Dr.Han stayed with In Yeong.

That night in Shi On’s dream he saw In Hae was playing in a green park with another little girl, but then they bid goodbye. The next morning, In Hae finally woke up.

Dr.Kang left the hospital. When he met Dr.Kim on his way out and asked what he’s gonna do next, he said he’s just going to live as a father from then on.

Shi On’s father decided to discharged himself out of the hospital. His condition was actually bad and Dr.Choi tried to convince him to just stay, but the old man preferred to spend his last moments at home. As Shi On watched his father left, in his heart he wished to have at least one good memory with him.

Yoon Seo caught the two residents who talked bad about her relationship with Shi On. Yoon Seo was really giving them a lesson. She scolded them and reminded them that in comparison with Shi On’s performance at work, they’re not his league. Shi On secretly watched the whole scene. And when Yoon Seo found him there, she said why couldn’t he be brave and told them to stop what they’d been doing. She made a point.

In the station, Shi On was discussing about love with Dr. Han. The nice guys gave him a good advice.

Dr.Kim finally asked Chae Kyeong to marry him. “Let’s get married. Let’s live well together from now on.”

Shi On finally agreed to go with Yoon Seo to the meeting with her friends. Shi On looked nervous. Yoon Seo’s friend doubted Shi On would go well with the rest of the girls, but he did well. And they had their first kiss there, in front of the girls.

Dr.Kim and his team went to Dr.Choi to discuss about Shi On’s status in the hospital. Even Dr.Go attended the meeting and support the idea of making Shi On as an official resident of the hospital.

Before the ceremony, in their station, Dr.Kim helped Shi On wearing a tie. They made quite an elaborate ceremony for him and the he made the speech. The point of his speech was he’s been doing his best, but he’s not there yet, so he would still do his best in the future. He’s thanking everyone for believing him and loving him.

Dr.Kim approached Shi On who was sitting alone. He called Shi On, “Shi On-a.” Shi On was surprised because it was the first time Dr.Kim called him by name. “Let’s be brothers,” said Kim Do Han. Shi On was about to ask, but Dr.Kim snapped him with “if you don’t want just forget it.” Then Shi On called him “Hyeong (brother).” Kim Do Han reminded him, “Call me brother when it’s just two of us.” Shi On got him. On that moment, he got a call from his mom that his father passed away. He went home to visit his mom who was sitting alone holding his father’s picture. Shi On hugged her.

A year later.

Some kids in a country side were cheering for the 3D TV, a charity from Dr.Park Shi On. Shi On lived happily with his mom.

In the hospital, Shi On who was then a senior, became a very strict senior. He was scolding a junior for making a mistake which should be taken seriously so in the future he wouldn’t do the same mistake again. The rest of the team could only just laugh at scene, watching Shi On scolding. And do you know who’s the new junior?? Park Gi Woong!! OMG this was hilarious.. and the cute Park Gi Woong with glasses…
Dr.Go came into the station and asked Shi On to be a little kinder to the junior. Shi On said he couldn’t, so the junior should work hard. Then Dr.Go went out to the bench where the poor junior was sitting alone, just like Shi On used to be. He looked down. Dr.Go bought the couple ice cream bar and offer a share with the junior. Innocently the junior got the bigger part.

In Hae was finally discharged from the hospital.Dr.Han and In Yeong was officially an item. In Hae reminded Shi On and Yoon Seo to stay well together.

The last dialogue between Shi On and Dr.Kim was before they’re entering an OR. Shi On asked Dr.Kim what is a good doctor for him. His answer was: all the doctors who make effort to be a good doctor are good doctors.

Shi On said that he felt his blood  was boiling and the heart sounded like a drum. Yoon Seo said she also felt the same. He was still overwhelmed by the fact that Yoon Seo was really declaring her feelings for him. On the way back, Yoon Seo said her hands are cold. Shi On didn’t get the signal well, so Yoon Seo asked him to hold her hand.

Shi On said that he was sort of ready if Yoon Seo was going to regret everything when she woke up in the morning.  He went back to the hospital and was very nervous when morning came. No, Yoon Seo didn’t regret it.

Dr.Kang told Dr.Kim that he wanted to transfer his son to another doctor. Shi On’s father was making the “i’m dying” drama in the ward, kind of punishing Shi On. Dr.Kim watched the scene from outside the ward.

Dr.Kim’s team were holding a meeting to prepare for In Hae’s surgery. They had to be able to propose a very convincing method if they wanted to get the permission to do the operation on In Hae.

Dr.Han talked to In hae. The little girl’s words sounded a bit pessimistic, but Dr.Han tried to lift her heart up. And then he talked to In Yeong. He told her not to worry and everything should be fine. Then he held her hands to sooth her. “The hands of doctors here are warmer than you thought, so please trust us.”

Yoon Seo was showing Shi On the application on her phone to start counting their days as a couple. Shi On said he didn’t need any because he had good memory (yeah ). Yoon Seo asked if he had any places, except for the zoo and pc place, he wanted to go together with her. Then Shi On came up with an idea: to the tarot card lady. Their individual cards were fine, but unfortunately as a couple the tarot lady said that they didn’t have the “bridge” like soul-mates usually had, so when they’re separated, it’s hard for them meet each other again.

On their way home, Yoon Seo said that she wanted their relationship to go public. Shi On hesitated. Yoon Seo understood his worry, but that’s what she wanted: to let others know they’re an item.

In the hospital the next day, on the doctors meeting, the two Dr.Kims argue about In Hae’s surgery permission. Dr.Kim Do Han got the permission to be in charge because he could propose a better method and procedure. He informed the good news to the team and they went out for dinner together. And there was when Yoon Seo decided to stand up and made the official announcement. Of course, everyone was surprised.

The news spread out quickly in the hospital. Everyone just couldn’t stop talking about the new couple. Even Chae Kyeong and Dr.Kim discussed about it when they sat together. Dr.Kim said he worried about this couple, but he didn’t say any objection. The other Dr.Kim’s residents still couldn’t believe the fact that Yoon Seo and Shi On were an item. And the nurses couldn’t handle the gossip either. But not everyone talked about their relationship positively, and Shi On heard it and felt down. Dr.Kim caught him with that kind of face, but Shi On didn’t say anything.

It’s the D-day for the play. The casts dressed up based on their characters. Shi On as Peter Pan, Yoon Seo as Wendy, Dr.Kim as Captain Hook, Male nurse Jo became Tinker Bel and Dr.Go became the yellow mermaid. The best part was when Dr.Go surprisingly appeared as the yellow mermaid. He’s so hilarious.

After the show, Male Nurse Jo took time to sit down with the heard nurse. He finally opened up about his past to her. Well yeah, he used to be in the gangster, but when his nephew died, his life changed.

Going home that night, Yoon Seo asked Shi On to stay for awhile. So Shi On stayed for awhile until Yoon Seo fell asleep.

The next day, Yoon Seo’s close friend reminded her that her mom may not give her blessing to her relationship with Shi On.

The surgery date is coming, and the sisters cried together. Dr.Han talked to In Yeong, saying that he would act as a stupid man. “I don’t like being stupid and not smart, but this is what I’m gonna do. The uncomfortable feeling that you have because of me please do differently for awhile.” Meanwhile, Yoon Seo and Shi On talked to In Hae.

Before the surgery, the sisters were brought into the same gate of OR sections, but different OR. Dr.Han was supposed to go with In Hae, but he stopped awhile to talk to In yeong. Again, he was telling her not to worry. In Yeong asked for his hand and held it. “Your hand is warm, not a doctor’s hands, but Han Jin Wook’s hand.”

The surgery went well. In Yeong woke up on time, but not In Hae. The doctors were nervous and yes, something wrong happened.

The surgery went well, but Dr.Kang seemed to be discontent. He expected a perfect surgery for his son, but with this incident happened and he watched the whole scene.

Yoon Seo treated Dr.Kim’s wound. She scolded Dr.Kim as trying to act like Iron Man.

Meanwhile Shi On rushed to his dad’s ward. Dr.Choi was already there. He told Shi On that his dad’s condition was not good. Shi On’s mom proposed of getting Shi On’s dad discharged from the hospital, but Shi On disagreed with the idea. The upset Shi On shared his feelings with Yoon Seo.

Shi On was speaking with In Hae who looked so much better. She asked Shi On if she could grow up to be a pretty woman like her sister. Shi On said she could.

Shi On asked a big favor to Yoon Seo: to talk to Dr.Jae Joong. They both went to that cold doctor to propose their ideas about In Hae’s surgery. But of course, Dr.Jae Joong just cut Yoon Seo’s words and made the two doctors just gave up and walked away.

A group of men in black suddenly came into the hospital and approached male nurse Jo in the nurse station. They called him big brother and said that they had been looking for him. Apparently, the nurse was an ex-gangster and he refused to go back to his past. Head Nurse Park overheard the men’s conversation and started to avoid male nurse Jo.

Yoon Seo was speaking with Dr.Kang’s son with the attendance of Dr.Kang. The kid told them what motivation words about dreams Dr.Kim had told him earlier and how it inspired him. Dr.Kang seemd to be touched.

Shi On overheard Yoon Seo’s conversation through phone with the guy she met the other day. Shi On asked if she’s going to meet that guy again. Yoon seo said no. “but why didn’t you said that to him earlier?” asked Shi On. “If you are not meeting him again, you should say it clearly.”

Shi On visited Dr.Kim to bring him dinner. Dr.Kim told him to just go back immediately to the hospital. Shi On said that for him Dr.Kim was like his big brother.

Dr.Han was informing In Yeong about In Hae’s condition. In yeong asked if he’s been sleeping well. Dr.Han just answered her in a formal way that he slept well.

The residents of Dr.Kim were planning a performance to entertain their kids patient. Shi On was very confidence.
In the other place, the head doctors were having a serious meeting discussing In Hae’s surgery. The two Dr.Kims were head to head, and Dr.Go later offered a help to Kim Do Han. When Dr.Kim was speaking with Yoon Seo, he seemed to have a good idea.

Shi on asked his mother to have a lunch out together. He told her it’s pay day.And then Shi On asked why she never came to look for him. His mom said that she actually looked for him, but she had no face to meet Dr.Choi and him personally after what she had done.

Shi On was scolded by a patient’s mother. yoon Seo asked if he’s okay after listening to the woman’s words. Shi On was about to say that there’s something that hurt him, but he refrained to tell her. Yoon Seo discussed it with Dr.Kim, but the senior said Shi on would be okay.

Later that day, Yoon seo asked what was it that hurt him. In their place, they continued their conversation: Shi On was speaking from his terrace, and Yoon Seo was listening from hers. Shi On said it hurt him when seeing Yoon Seo upset. He also said he wanted to sing for Yoon Seo. And then he sang. I don’t know who had the imagination, but there’re scenes of the “normal” Shi On dating Yoon Seo like other couples. Yoon Seo was crying listening to Shi On’s singing.

The doctors were practicing the play in their station. Shi On’s trick of making Dr.Kang’s son to persuade Dr.Kim to get involved in the play worked. Shi On played as Peter Pan. Dr.Kim’s acting skill sucked and he’s frustrated, but the practice must go on for the show.
In the play, there’s a scene where Yoon Seo had asked for a help from Peter Pan. When Shi On held her hands tightly, Yoon Seo notice something in her heart.

She kept thinking about that. She was thinking alone on the corridor when In Hae passed by and then sat with her. She told Yoon Seo that Shi On hurt alot.

Shi On walked with Yoon Seo to home. Yoon Seo asked if he’s taking all the hurt by himself. She said she was also hurt. And then she said that she’d been missing him, but not as a sister-brother like she said before. Yoon Seo confessed that she’s been feelings something strange these days. She said she dislike Shi On meeting other woman, and she’s not going to meet other man either. “I’m now…now…” She stepped forward and hugged Shi On.

Chae Kyeong apologized personally to her step mother.

Dr.Kim scolded his team whom he thought as responsible of In Hae’s worse condition. And it didn’t stop there, Dr.Jae Joong came to Dr.Kim’s station and scolded everyone. In Hae was by paper his patient. And Dr.Kim’s residents were involved in this incident.

Dr.Kim treated Dr.Kang’s son and took care of him well. Dr.Kang was watching from a distance and then thanked him personally later on.

Shi On tried to turn the sweater back to Chae Kyeong for it’s so expensive. She asked him to just take it as a present. Then she told Shi On that it seemed the price was not the problem, but someone was disapproved of the idea he received a present from her.
“Apparently the person you liked turned out to have so much feelings for you. If a person who has no special relationship with you had no feeling for you, this present wouldn’t make her jealous.” The innocent Shi On tried to digest the idea.

Dr.Kim’s wound had not yet got well. He treated his wound by himself. He met Yoon Seo who was still working on her research paper. Yoon Seo noticed when Dr.Kim felt an ache on his wound, but he said nothing.

Shi On got a visitor: Jang Dong Goo. Someone from the past that he least expected to see. He was the one who made Shi On and his brother to get into the tunnel when they’re kid. Dong Goo’s child was sick and he asked for help. He also begged for forgiveness from Shi On, but Shi On just walked away.

Yoon Seo invited Shi On to have dinner together. They went to a quite fancy restaurant to have steak. The waiters and waitresses thought they were a couple and demanded them kissing. They looked adorable wearing minnie mouse headbands.

Kim Do Han and Chae Kyeong spent their time together. They brought up the memories about who confessed first and how.

Shi on told Yoon Seo that confessing his feelings actually something he hated to do. Yoon Seo asked why. He said because he was different from other people. He got bullied alot and he realized that the person who was with him would get bullied as well. To take the bully by himself was better and more comfy for him.

Dr.Han walked the corridor and saw In Yeong who looked so depress. He tried to sooth her, but coldly pass by. In Yeong stopped him and told him to get a good a sleep. It’s something that Shi On told In Yeong. In Yeong couldn’t take anymore burden, so she asked him to stop the whole restless-bad-love thing after this.

Shi On saw Dong Goo with his son. When Dr.Kim treated the child, Shi On asked Dr.Kim to treat the child well since the father was his old friend from the same hometown. LAter on Shi On and Dong Goo tried to clear their misunderstanding.
“Are we really friends?” asked Shi On. “Of course,” said Dong Goo. “I was not a good friend then, but now a very thankful friend.” Shi On said there’s a condition: he had to keep his son healthy and let him grow well just like him (the father himself). The two old friends hugged.

Dr.Kim’s team just finished meeting when there’s a call from ER. Dr.Kim decided that Shi On was the one who should take care of the ER case while others went on with the surgery. The patient’s condition was critical. Shi On had to call an attendee: Dr.Go, who came in a flash of time (comically, literally). Dr.Kim’s OR got the news about the case in ER. Yoon seo asked permission to go there to help Shi On. But when she got there, the patient was already brought to the OR. Dr.Go was in charge. And since there’s no other surgeons but them two, Dr.Go made Shi On as his first assistant.

Yoon Seo and Dr.Kim watched the surgery. The patient’s condition went into a life and death situation, but Dr.Go in a help of Shi On’s diagnosys handled the situation very well. After the surgery, Dr.Kim approached Dr.Go and told him his appreciation. Shi On also raised his thumb in front of Dr.Go. “Dr.Go is the best!”

Il Kyoo also noticed Dr.Go’s changes. He asked Dr.Go to go out for a drink together later on. He brought the topic of Dr.Go’s changing behavior. Dr.Go looked at Il Kyoo as the younger him with ambition and sort of. He admitted that his method of survival in the hospital so far had been wrong. Dr.Go said he wanted to change because he wanted to do things better.
LAter on Shi On was about to go home when he saw the two guys was deadly drunk. Il Kyoo and Dr,Go woke up sleeping naked on the same bedroom. They freaked out, but Shi On’s explanation saved them.

Dr.Kang watched his son looked happier in this hospital. His wife also told him the big difference their son here and while he was in the US.

Shi On ran into Yoon Seo who was about to go out in a hurry. He asked why she took off early, Yoon Seo made her excuse. Yoon Seo was actually out for the arranged meeting with a man. She obviously didn’t enjoy the meeting. She went back to the hospital to see Shi On. Seeing Yoon Seo wearing a pretty dress, he said she looked like the pretty anchor of 9 o’clock news. Yoon Seo told him that she was lying before, told him the real reason and asked if Shi On had any bad feelings towards her. He was just indifferent and said none.

Dr.Kang sat by his son. The son told his father how he liked the hospital so much.Listening to his son, Dr.Kang kind of gave a second thought of his politics in the hospital. He tried to talk about it to Dr.Kim, but Dr.Kim assured him that when they’re talking about his son’s condition, Dr.Kim would treat him as the parent of the patient, nothing more.

Shi On’s father collapsed, but we don’t know yet what happen next because Shi On and Dr.Kim’s team were on the important meeting: Dr.Kang’s son surgery. It required two specialists.

During the surgery, the first specialist finished his part and it was Dr.Kim’s turn. He was about to make a cut when suddenly he felt something wrong. It seemed that his wound had a serious infection.

Dr.Kim’s situation was not really serious. Dr.Cha and others heard from Dr.Kim how Shi On fought the guy. Yoon Seo was kind of proud of Shi On, that he finally knew how to fight. She asked what would he did if she was attacked by bad guys and needed his help. Shi On who watched too much action movie amusingly copying a line from a movie.

Chae Kyeong rushed to Kim Do Han’s room. She was so worried. She said he should think about her before doing something dangerous. She said she always had one wish: because her parents had passed away, she wanted to live along time with the person she loved.
Yoon Seo saw the scene from outside.

Male nurse Jo got his free dinner. Head nurse Park treated him for he had fought the bad guy and made that guy arrested.

Shi On came to the nurse station and suddenly gave a kiss on the cheek to male nurse Jo. Everyone was startled. Shi On said that it was his way of gratitude for male nurse Jo for what he done yesterday and for being nice to him from the beginning. Dr.Han told Shi on not to do that to him.Right then they saw Dr.Kang just finished his meeting with some men.

The hospital merger issue soon spread among the doctor. Dr.Kim said they should worry about that later.

Shi On was on his way to another hospital for Yoon Seo’s research when he ran into Chae Kyeong. She told him to wear something warm as the temperature suddenly drop outside. Then she took him to an expensive boutique and bought him a nice sweater. She thanked him for helping Dr.Kim.

Shi On came back to the hospital and Yoon Seo noticed the new sweater. Even the tag was still there. They were so surprised that the sweater was $875. even Shi On had no idea. And strangely Yoon Seo scolded him for innocently received that kind of expensice gift from Chae Kyeong. Shi on admit his mistake for innocently received and straightly put on the sweater, but he said he didn’t understand why she was mad at him. Yoon Seo was more upset and just left.

Shi On’s dad was looking for Shi On. He saw his son was trying to politely refuse the parents who were giving him presents. He told them he couldn’t take presents.Then his father caught him and they argued. Shi on kept calling him the bad person. Dr.Go saw the scene and helped Shi On get away from his dad.

Shi On noticed that Yoon Seo was still upset to him. So he tailed her home and Yoon Seo caught him. He told her that he felt sorry and wanted to cheer her up. So he did some silly performance and managed to make Yoon Seo smile. Shi on apologized for making her upset. Yoon Seo reminded him that he still had to go back to hospital soon, so he left.

Kim Do Han got the news about the fight of Chae Kyeong and her step mom. So he took her out for drinking.

Dr.Kang talked to Dr.Kim and Dr.Cha to discuss about his son. He asked them to go to Boston. Dr.Kim asked him to bring his son to Sungwon Hospital instead.

Shi On helped his mom, though didn’t say anything until he left. Then he met Dr.Kang on the way.

In hae found out that her sister would be her donor. She refused to get the surgery. Dr.Han and Shi On saw when In Yeong tried to talk to In Hae, but the little sister ran away crying. Shi on tried to talk to In Hae, while Dr.Kang talked to In Yeong. The conflict among the surgeons were different. The two Dr.Kim argued about who should operate In HAe.

Dr.Kang’s son was brought to the hospital by his wife. He asked Dr.Kim and Dr.Cha to treat their his son.

In Hae ran away from the hospital. she was sitting alone outside when Dr.Cha found her and took her home since the girl refused to go back to the hospital. Shi On reported the information to In Yeong. Then he had another thing to tell In Yeong. He asked her to talk to Dr.Han because that doctor liked her so much and his frustration made him fail to sleep every night. since he was so noisy, he made Shi On also failed to have a nice sleep every night. That’s why Shi On suggested her talking to his senior.

That night Yoon Seo and In Hae were talking about Shi On. In Hae asked if Shi On really did confess his feelings to her by giving her the rose. Yoon Seo said the rose wasn’t a confession.

Shi On had a dream about In Hae being in a peaceful park. So that morning he came down to Yoon Seo’s place to pick In Hae up. In Hae just woke up and suddenly she found her nose was bleeding. In Hae fainted right away.

Jumped to another setting. In a park that same night, a little girl was waiting for her mom who was buying some drinks for them. A young woman was riding her bike when there’s a man suddenly stopped her and stabbed her. The girl witness the whole thing. The man was approaching the screaming little girl. The mother who was on the way back, saw the scene and dropped the drinks.

Shi On and Yoon Seo continued their conversation. They’re sitting together and overcome their awkwardness. Shi On’s phone rang and they got a call from the hospital. It’s the little girl from the park. Dr.Kim also came. They immediately arranged a surgery. The surgery went well, but the bad guy was still out there.

Yoon Seo wasn’t involved in the surgery, so it was after the surgery when she and Shi On could speak again. Shi On offered to treat her dinner the next day.

Dr.Han approached In Hae and tried to cheer her up. She said she was ashamed that she used to match her sister with Dr.Han because of her sister’s job. But Dr.Han reminded her that her sister did that because she loved her.

Shi On checked on her father’s condition. The father asked to buy him an alcohol. Shi On refused and left.

Dr.Kim and Dr.Cha were discussing about a case and compare with some recent studies. Shi On had read this kind of study, but he couldn’t give much opinion because they still couldn’t find the best method.

The little girl was awake, but still in a bad trauma. She kept staring at the ceiling. A detective came and asked her about the bad guy’s face. The girl remembered. That night the guy was trying to stab her, but her mom struggled to prevent him. That’s when the guy’s face was shown, though he quickly put back his mask. But instead of telling the detective, the girl screamed and went uncontrol. Dr.Kim asked the detective to leave. And apparently the bad guy was in the hospital.

In Young came to talk to In Hae. She told In Hae that she had quit the job and In Hae must take the surgery.

Shi On was in the cafeteria for lunch when he saw his mom. But he just ignored her and joined Dr.Go and Il Gyu. Shi On invited them both to come by his place sometimes. Shi On’s mom shared her thought to Yoon Seo.

Going home after work, Yoon Seo asked Shi On about the dinner he promised to treat her. Shi On refused to tell her. they just stepped out of the hospital, Yoon Seo was about to be hit by a car. Shi On caught her and Yoon Seo looked flustered. Shi On had been very manly. But nothing awkward, so they just proceed. Apparently, Shi On was making her spaghetti, but he didn’t use pasta and his cooking sucked.

Chae Kyeong just found the ugly truth about his father’s death and the hospital politics. He broke his alliance with Dr.Kang because of that and felt somehow betrayed and fooled. She came to Kim Do Han and told him that she gave up her plan. She just felt very upset. She said she wanted to erase all the bad memories and live with only good memories. Kim Do Han hugged her and she cried.

Yoon Seo was still in shi On’s place when she received a call from her mom who seemed to nag her about meeting a man. Shi On told Yoon Seo that he also wanted to be introduced to a girl.

Shi On caught the children sneaking out to enjoy snacks. This time they said he could join them. But Shi On had changed. He disiciplined them in front of their mothers, reminded them the snacks weren’t good for their health and that wouldn’t make them be discharged from the hospital anytime soon.

The little girl was still having a very bad trauma. She even scared of the statescope. Dr.Kim got an idea and used the statescope toy Shi On had given her.

Shi On’s dad was about to lose his temper to Shi On’s mom. Shi On stepped inside and defended his mom. He took his father’s hit and told him, “I’ve got the strength now.”

Yoon Seo finally could find the solution for the difficult case she had been studying. This study was related to a study in Boston (or somewhere in the US). Apparently, Yoon Seo’s finding was related to Dr.Kang’s wife illness and she received the news right away. Dr.Kang seemed unhappy with the good news.

Shi On met Chae Kyeong in the cafeteria and she asked him to sit with her for awhile. She asked if he confessed well to the girl he liked. Yoon Seo saw the scene and asked why he never told her that he was close with Chae Kyeong. She sounded a bit jealous, but not that obvious and she did it in a very positive way.

The little girl started to speak up her memories. But her words were more of mumbling, so Dr.Kim dropped it off and was ready to leave. Everyone was asleep and Dr.Kim was about to go down, when the bad guy walked in. Shi On noticed the guy and Dr.Kim was already in the lift when he could sense something bad with the guy just passed by him.
Shi On got into the room first and caught the bad guy red handed, but he hadn’t done anything. Dr.Kim came right in time and ordered Shi On to took the girl and her mother away and call the police. Dr.Kim fought the guy and got stabbed.

The surgery went well. Yoon Seo who was watching from another room, looked so proud of Shi On. Even Dr.Kim literary said, “Congratulation Dr.Park.” And not only that, Dr.Kim even reward his team after the tough day by treating them dinner.

The politics condition of the hospital was getting more intense.

Yoon Seo couldn’t stop thinking about what Shi On had told her that night when she turned him down. Dr.Kim approached her and asked what’s going on. She said she made a mistake to Shi On. she kind of realized that she had treated Shi On like a teenager while he’s actually a full grown up man, somehow.

Dr.Kim and the residents were out for dinner together, except Dr.Cha. She prefer being home. That night she took off from the wall the rose given by Shi On and threw it to the dustbin. Dr.Kim was having a small talk alone with Shi On after the dinner.

Dr.Kim got the news about the political situation of the hospital. Chae Kyeong would take over her step-mother’s position within a month. Kim Do Han still asked her to stop her plan.

Shi On talked to his patient, the girl he operated. She asked if his parents were healthy and lived well. Shi On decided to ask the doctor who was in charge of his father about his condition. And his condition was bad.
Then he decided to come by his father’s ward. With trembling hands he talked to his dad. And that man was really something. He kind of asked for money from Shi On as soon as he knew that Shi On received salary. Shi On’s mom watched from outside.

Shi On was sitting alone on a bench outside to clear his mind. Dr.Go joined him. Shi On shared his thought about his father. “I want my father to be proud of me.” Shi On was about to leave when Dr.Go surprisingly decided to give him money (thouugh reduced it from 30,000 won to just 10,000 won). “It’s okay, I have money,” said Shi On. But Dr.Go was just sincere, so Shi On took the money before leaving.

Shi On’s mother finally decided to confront her son bravely. “Shi On-a, I’m your mom,” she said. “I’m your mom. I’m sorry. I couldn’t tell you all this time.” Shi on went speechles. He felt his mother’s hand touching his face, but he remembered the day when he read his mother’s note. “I’m sorry, Shi On. I will surely come to search for you later.”
Shi On quickly let her mother’s hand go and rejected her. “I hate you. You just left a note and left me alone. You abandoned me. You are as bad as dad. I don’t need you.” Then he left.

In Hae opened her sister’s purse and found her business card.

Yoon Seo asked Shi on if he had met his mother. Shi On told him his feelings about his mother. Yoon Seo said he should at least listen to what she said. Shi On just asked her not to interfere.

Before going home, when bumping into Shi On on the corridor, Yoon Seo offered herself to help him. “If you have a burden about your mother, just tell me,” said Yoon Seo. “If I have a burden, I will tell Dr.Kim,” said Shi On before leaving.

In Hae went to the club where In Yeong worked. She caught her sister red-handed. “How could you get here? Did Dr.Han told you?” accused In Hae. “So even Dr.Han knows about this??” In Hae was so disappointed and frustrated. Coming back to the hospital, she blamed Dr.Han for not telling her about her sister’s job.

One of the children in the gang who was always around, the little boy with glasses, started to show worse situation. After the other day Shi on caught him puking in the toilet with green puke, this time he finally collapsed. Dr.Kim, Yoon Seo, and Shi On prepared for an operation. But even before the surgery, Shi On noticed Yoon Seo’s bad mood. After the surgery, Yoon Seo had to get scolded by the boy’s mother.

Yoon Seo reported to Dr.Kim, then the mother went to Dr.Kim herself. The mother was blaming Yoon Seo, but Shi On defended her and took the blame by saying that he forgot to forgot to report to Dr.Cha about his finding on the boy’s puke. Shi On’s action just made Yoon Seo more frustrated.

LAter that night, Shi On apologized to Yoon Seo. He said his action had nothing to do about Yoon Seo’s feelings. He just felt sorry and understood that she’s frustrated.Yoon Seo felt worse. “Stop doing this. I can’t give you anything for a payback,” Yoon Seo said. Shi On just sincerely wished to lessen her burden. Yoon Seo was about to cry, but Shi On stepped forward and hugged her.

It’s an almost-full-week Chuseok Holiday here in Korea, so wish you all have a great week.

Dr.Kim met the father and asked him to leave considering Shi On’s condition was not on a stable state that time. Mr.Park refused to leave and challenged Dr.Kim by saying that he’s nobody who had no rights to tell him what to do. Dr.Kim told him that Shi On was his disciple. Mr.Park didn’t care. Right on that time, Shi On’s mother came and asked then begged him to just leave Shi On alone forever. The father made a scene, so the security guards had to pull him out.

The parents continued their conversation outside. Shi On’s mom asked Mr.Park to go away. Mr.Park insisted on meeting Shi On and when he got too emotional, he started to cough and there was blood. He seemed to be sick.

Dr.Kim asked Yoon Seo why she had been keeping it a secret all this time. “Aren’t you suppose to tell me?” asked Dr.Kim. Yoon Seo told him that it was Shi On’s mother who asked this to be kept as a secret between them.

Shi On heard that his father had gone away, so he stepped out of the room. Yoon Seo sat with him. Shi On told her that he was okay. Yoon Seo asked him if he also remembered his mom’s face, considering that he remembered his father’s face right away. He said it felt like going on a time machine and he was back to be 7 years old again. He remembered how he feared his abusive father. He also said he didn’t remember his mother’s face, just a glimpse of the memory. He saw his mother was beaten, a lot worse. “I’m happy I don’t remember her. Just like me, she must have been very very hurt.”

Later on Dr.Kim, Yoon Seo and Shi On sat together. Dr.Kim ran an oral test to Shi On, and they found out that Shi On kind of lost his ability to remember his task brilliantly like he always did. His genius talent just disappeared. Dr.Kim knew the source of Shi On’s biggest trauma is his father and it influenced Shi On’s mind very significantly.

Dr.Kim consulted to his colleague about Shi On’s condition. That doctor said that Shi On suffered from a kind of dissociative disorder where the trauma of the past overpower Shi On’s mind. One of the methods was to confront him with the source of his trauma, but the risk was that Shi On might be trapped in his trauma and lost his genius talent forever. Another way to deal with it was to let Shi On felt he got so much respect and love from the people around him, so that those feelings would overpower his trauma.

Yoon Seo told Dr,Choi of what happened. Dr.Choi was worried, but thanked her.

Dr.Kim tried to talk to Shi On. “You’re afraid of your father, right?” asked Dr.Kim. “But what is the most dreadful thing for you to see?” Shi On said he was more afraid seeing patients died. “So you have to do the diagnosis well,” said Dr.Kim. “You fear your father and your patient will die. Dr.Kim talked logic with him, well expecting him to talk sympathy might be too much. Dr.Kim told Shi On how he had been against all odds and exceed his expectations. He also had promised Dr.Choi to take care of him. So in order to save the patients as well as Dr.Choi’s position and also Shi On’s himself, he asked Shi On to overcome his trauma.

Yoon Seo was doing a regular check on In Hae. They talked about Eun Ok and her new family. Yoon Seo showed her some pictures the singer boy sent him. There in Yoon Seo’s phone In Hae saw the picture of a rose. Yoon Seo told her that it was Shi On who gave her, as a present. In Hae finally found out the girl Shi On had been having a crush on was Dr.Cha.

That evening Dr.Kim told Shi On to call it a day. He understood it had been tough for Shi On. Dr.Cha was going home as well.

Dr.choi came down to Shi On’s parents house. Shi On’s dad tried to hit him, but started coughing badly.

On their way home together, Yoon Seo brought the topic of Shi On’s confession. Shi On tried to deny. But Yoon Seo told him that what he said was nothing to be ashamed of nor to be  sorry for. She said she was touched.  So they sat down somewhere to talk about it.

Yoon Seo straight forwardly asked, “Am I your first love? I feel so grateful.I love you too, as a junior and as a little brother.” Yoon Seo then shared the story of her first love. She said that first love would stay as first love (with Dr.Kim), but as times go by, it was just going to be a sweet memory. So regarding their relationship, Yoon Seo said that it would also happen to them. After times go by, she believed that Shi On would change his feeling to be just a kind of affection. “That time we can finally feel so much like real siblings,” she said. Woman! Either she’s treating him as a teenager or just too naive expecting a man liking her as a woman to change his feelings and eventually like her as sister. Seriously?? She’s a smart doctor, but doesn’t know the basic difference between man and woman’s mind? Haven’t she read ‘Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus’ ? So yeah, I think Shi On was offended somehow. He said, “What if as time goes by my feelings don’t change? What should I do?”

Shi On went on alone, but met Dr.Go on the way. Dr.Go was drinking alone, so Shi On joined him. He took Dr.Go home. Dr.Go woke up in Shi On’s house. Dr.Go was confused, but he just grabbed the breakfast Shi On had prepared for him.

In the hospital, Dr.Kim held another test for Shi On. He was making a lot of mistakes. Dr.Kim knew it’s a serious problem they had to solve soon, otherwise he couldn’t help Shi On.

Shi On was talking to In Hae when Dr.Choi brought him to see his father. Dr.Choi told Shi On his father’s condition, but Shi On refused to hear and just walked away.

Dr.Han tried to talk to In Yeong, but her reception was bad as always. He asked her to find other better jobs because he worried about her. In Yeong told him to stop liking her and find another girl that suits him.

That night in the hospital, the frustrated Dr.Han and the frustrated Shi On failed to get to sleep. So they had a talk. Two grown up men talked about their bad love stories. I like that unlike Yoon Seo, Dr.Han always treated Shi On as a grown up man.

Next day came and another case as well. This time some elementary students were injured on a traffic accident. Dr.Kim and his team tried to handle the situation along with the doctors in ER. Problems occur when there’re more than one children need immediate surgery. Dr.Han was put in charge on a child, as well as Dr.Cha. Dr.Kim and the rest of junior residents handled the other child. There’s another child in the ER needed an inspection, so Dr.Kim told Shi On to go.

Shi On knew the girl. He had treated her before when she got her arm injured. Her father was a blind musician and she had told Shi On how she was proud of her father. Shi On checked her condition and decided that the girl need a surgery. The ER doctor reminded him that there’s no more attendee doctor to do the surgery. He said they could put her on the OR next to Dr.Kim’s OR so he could do two operations in the same time. Shi On immediately prepared the surgery and reported it to Dr.Kim. Dr.Kim told him to wait. He was about to go and check the other patient when his own patient turned critical. So he stayed. Shi On demanded even more when that other girl was also critical. Dr.Kim couldn’t leave his table, so he told Shi On to do the surgery himself.

Started with the intense situation in the OR. The gynecologist suggested Dr.Kim to give up the baby. But it was Shi On who insisted on saving both. The surgery ended up well. After the surgery, Dr.Kim summoned Shi On. He gave him a quick review and comments, but in the end before Shi On left the room, he still said, “Park Shi On, you have done well.” (“sugohesso[yo]” is a common expression of appreciation after someone perform a well done job. A little bit different from “jal hesso[yo]” which literally means you did a good job)

Shi On had to make up lots of excuses of what items he needed to buy in the convenient store just in order to walk Yoon Seo to the hospital’s exit. But as soon as they stepped out the hospital’s main entrance/exit door, they found Dr.Kim had waited for Yoon Seo to go home together. Shi On had his night shift, so he couldn’t go home with Yoon Seo.

When they arrive in front of Yoon Seo’s place, Kim Do Han kind of need a friend to talk to and share his thought with. As usual, Yoon Seo made a comment that Do Han found amusing. He couldn’t resist to ruffle Yoon Seo’s hair. Well, you can see something in Kim Do Han’s eyes before he drive away his car.

The next day, Shi On was holding a hammer that he said he needed to buy in the convenient store last night. But he was caught lying by Yoon Seo. She just smiled and left.

Dr.Kim accidentally ran into Chae Kyeong in the hospital. They were awkward. Chae Kyeong asked how they had become like that..cold and as if they’re strangers. Their  relationship was not getting better.

Lee Suji’s ( the pregnant girl who had had the surgery) ex-husband came to see the baby. The man seemed to be different from his mom. He seemed to really love her. Yoon Seo let them meet each other, and they reconciled.

Dr.Kim gave Shi On the first test for the challenge he had given him (the research papers). It was an intense oral exam, but Shi On did very well. Yoon Seo got the news from Dr.Kim and later when she was meeting Shi On’s mom, she told them how her son had been doing well with his job.

There’s a journalist going to film Dr.Kim’s team’s activities for a documentary program. Shi On suddenly made a weird hairdo, but Yoon Seo told him not to. He ruffled his own hair immediately.

During the filming, Shi On kept looking at the camera. Yoon Seo thought he just liked the publicity, but Shi On said he wanted his mother and father to recognize him if they saw him on TV.

One night, Shi On and other doctors in the station were sitting together. They knew that Yoon Seo was going home together with Dr.Kim. Shi On didn’t know it. They tried not to make any rumor, but they noticed Dr.Kim’s relationship with Chae Kyeong was not in a good situation. Shi On just found out that Dr.Kim and Chae Kyeong (used) to be engaged.

Dr.Kim brought Yoon Seo somewhere. He sort of wanted to do something nice as they had been senior-junior for 15 years. Apparently, he brought her to a boutique and was buying her clothes…expensive one! Yoon Seo was startled.

Meanwhile Shi On came to visit Chae Kyeong in her office and they went out having dinner together. Shi On told Cahe Kyeong that he had someone he liked and wondered how Dr.Kim confessed his feelings to her. “Dr.Kim is so cool, so I wanted to know how he did it.” She said she was the first to declare her feelings.

Dr.Han and his juniors were going out for a drink when suddenly he saw In Yeong saying goodbye to some men in a bar (hostess to customers manner). He went into the bar to see her. In Yeong’s reception was cynical. Dr.Han said he didn’t see her as a lowly girl living a lowly and pity life as she accused him immediately. “I thought, I didn’t know how tough this young girl’s life to pay the hospital for her sick little sister. I feel sorry for making you feel bad, anyhow.” She just asked him not to tell In Hae.

Shi On waited for Yoon Seo in front of their place, but didn’t tell anything when he met her. He still failed to confess his feelings. That night, Shi On was thinking of Yoon Seo. Yoon Seo thought of Dr.Kim. Dr.Kim thought of Yoon Seo. Well, is it a surprise? Hmmm…let’s say we had seen it coming sooner or later.

The next day, Dr.Kim ran another test for Shi On. This time the exam was in the OR. He failed. Shi On couldn’t control his trembling.

Yoon Seo tried to speak with Shi On. He opened up with her. Later Yoon Seo told Dr.Kim that Shi On got a trauma from his father during his childhood. That what made him always got anxious in the OR.

A man who was drinking so badly in a shop saw Shi On on TV. He recognized his own son.

Dr.Kim held a remedial for Shi On’s exam in the OR. This time Shi On did a very bad mistake. The simulation patient died. “You were supposed to be surgeon, but you just acted as a murderer,” said Dr.Kim harshly.

Shi On was depressed. He still looked down on his way home. Yoon Seo tried to talk to him, but it depressed him even more. He finally spit it out to Yoon Seo, “I like you. I don’t like looking bad in front of someone I like.” Yoon Seo was startled.

Shi On walked the rest of the way home alone. In front of a crosswalk he accidentally bumped into two drunken guys. They demanded an apology, but then found out that Shi On was a bit strange. They beat him and Shi On couldn’t fight back. Dr.Kim was stopping at the traffic light when he saw the scene. He got off his car, defended Shi On and fought the two guys. Shi On saw the scene and remembered how his brother defended him and fought the naughty kids for him.

They ended up in a police station. Dr.Kim stayed cool while the drunken guys didn’t stop talking to defend themselves and blame Dr.Kim. But as soon as Dr.Kim heard the drunken guy called Shi On “The retarded man”, Dr.Kim couldn’t hold his emotion and hit him agaim. Yoon Seo fetched them out of the police station. Before leaving, Dr.Kim desperately said to Shi On, “Why didn’t you fight back and let yourself being treated like a stupid man and made them call you retarded??!!” Shi On could only said, “I’m not a retarded man.” Dr.Kim was out of speech and went home alone.

The next day, Shi On got a guest in the hospital. His father came to meet him. Shi On’s traumatic childhood resurfaced his memories. He was shaken and finally fainted.
