My favorite two Korean superstar couples: Jang Dong Gun-Go So Yeong  and Yeon Jeong Hoon-Han Ga In. They’re gorgeous and lovely as always! The real fashionistas and fashionistos always know how to dress.

I don’t know if you agree with me or not, but I’m a bit disappointed on the way these actresses dressed that evening. I know it’s summer and coming single to a wedding is a bit sad, but that doesn’t mean you should look less-stunning. Kim Tae Hee looked surprisingly simple and plain! She’s adorable in that dress, but she’s Kim Tae Hee and I expected her to be…fabulous! At least Cho Ji Woo made an effort to look simple and casual, but still shone her superstar aura. Han Hyo Joo also looked simple and a bit boring with that dress.

Therefore, my most favorite dresses in that event are Go So Yeong’s  mini black lace dress and Han Ga In nice cut-black dress. They’re true fashionistas. But if I have to choose the best overall look, I think I go with Han Ga In. I don’t really like Mrs.Jang Don Gun’s shoes.

For airing early next year, “Queen of Ambition” or “Yawang” (야왕), the filming has begin. Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae as leading roles already got the first shot on December 12, at Seo Gang University.

“Queen of Ambition” focus on Da Hae (Soo Ae), the girl with an ambition to release from poverty. But eventually her ambition makes her sacrifices a lot of things, including people she loves and also the person who loves her.

On first day filming, they shot the scene where Da Hae was looking for her friend to help her find a job. She forced to give up for going to university because of financial problem. Soo Ae looked fresh and just wore a simple winter outfit since that day she had to portray a 19 years old girl.

Meanwhile, Kwon Sang Woo looked serious drown on his character, Choi Kang Chan. On the bus he was recalling the sweet memories between him and Da Hae. He really loves Da Hae, he even willingly works really hard just for paying Da Hae’s tuition fee.

Even though the weather was really cold and freezing (-10 degree Celsius), they both look professional and brought the positive atmosphere during the filming.

Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae already sign up for up-coming monday-tuesday drama from SBS “Yawang” or known “Queen of Ambition”, this drama planned to be released for early next year, start on January.

Beside Kwon Sang Woo, the person behind “Yawang” is the same person for “Daemul”, manhwa writer, Park In Kwon. “Yawang” is also adaptation from his works. The story line is also not too different, about politic and women power. Soo Ae as the female lead has a desire to become first lady. Kwon Sang Woo the guy who loves her so much, he sacrifice everything for her to help her, but at the end he gives up. He’s tired with her obsession that brings her fall down into the swamp of ambitions. their love become hatred and turn into revenge.

“Yawang” will produce 24 episodes, and filming will begin on November. In each episodes will consist of  fatal love, betrayal, intrigue, unstoppable ambition, and dark side of humanity…yeah..just another heavy drama…

Two of Korea’s hottest actors, Kwon Sang Woo and So Ji Sub have many similarities: cool, sexy, dashing, mysterious, and the most important is they are both expert on romantic melodrama genre.

For this year their romantic movie will be released in autumn, about September. Kwon Sang Woo through “Pain” will appear as Nam Soon, a heartless/painless guy who will learn about true love from fragile-heart-woman (played by Jung Ryeo Won).

Meanwhile, the other romantic ajeossi, So Ji Sub, plays on “Only You” as Cheol Min, a former boxer who will fall in love with an independent-blind girl, Jeong Hwa (Han Hyo Joo).

Actually these movies also have many similarities one another. They have same issue and theme, “Pain” and “Only You” show how the softness can walk together with hardness because of true love. These movies are on the same level, so September will be full of emotion and will be the “battle field” for them. Keep fighting ajeossi-deul! I love you all…

Kwon Sang Woo’s new movie that he plays along side with Jung Ryeo Won, “Pain” published another stills from filming location.
One of those pictures showed Kwon Sang Woo had injuries, bruise, bleeding on his face.

But don’t worry, he didn’t really have injuries. It’s just due to his role on this movie. His role, Nam Soon,  is a man who can’t feel the pain even already suffering so badly like that. He’s no longer feel the pain since he was child on car accident which also cause his family death.

Alone, has tragic childhood, and heartless (can’t feel the pain), I wondered he has not committed suicide?!oops … but, finally he meets a very sensitive girl (played by Jung Ryeo Won), who will change his unusual life.

For this movie, Kwon Sang Woo works totally for portraying “painless” person. He has to show the plain face when his body gets hurt, it’s not easy.

After wrapping “Daemul,” Kwon Sang Woo took a brief rest, and now he’s coming back with a movie project, “The Pain”.

This movie seems to be quite interesting from the storyline. The title, “The Pain,” is an irony because the leading role actually can’t feel pain. Because of an accident when he was child, Kwon Sang Woo’s role no longer can feel the pain. He will act in this movie along side with Jung Ryeo Won, opposite with Kwon Sang Woo’s role, Jung Ryeo Won will act as a oversensitive person. Then they both involved on romantic love story.

The shooting has already started since a few days ago (on April 22nd). The movie is scheduled to be released on August. As for Kwon Sang Woo, since his role is as a painless person, there were scenes where he got some hit and injuries but he had to hold his expression..well, that’s quite hard for him. Kwon Sang Woo is always very total in his works. He even “willingly” let himself  hit by a motorcycle.

But there’s something interfering my eyes when I saw Jung Ryeo Won’s outfit. I think she wears all of her wardrobe content. I think her outfit is too much, especially  with her skinny body. She looks sinking in her clothes. Well, that’s probably because of her character as a super-sensitive girl, but why don’t you just do it a little stylish?

I never doubt Kwon Sang Woo play on romantic movie, so I predict this movie will be a quite success in autumn.

Our first female president, Go Hyeon Jeong, got the highest award in the SBS 2010 Drama Awards, Daesang Award. Her acting in “Daemul” was so remarkable. I’m used to look her role as a fighter woman and I liked it, so girl power. She deserved the award indeed.

In addition to Go Hyeon Jeong, Kwon Sang Woo also managed to get the Top Excellence Actor (shared with Hyun Bin). In his speech, Kwon Sang Woo didn’t forget to say thanks to his son … Hohoho such a great dad!
And Hyun Bin said he was grateful to play in Secret Garden and got a very interesting role before he entered the (late) military service … ouch .. I’m so sad to be reminded about his duty. That means he’s counting the days before entering military service.

Besides Daemul and Secret Garden, Giant and My Girlfriend is Gumiho also gained quite a lot awarded.

Blessed SBS viewers! They are pampered by beautiful faces at the end of this year. SBS broadcast “Secret Garden”, “Daemul”, and “Athena: Goddess of War”, all dramas bring handsome faces, good bodies, and sexy ass: Hyun Bin, Kwon Sang Woo, Jeong Woo Seong, and Cha Seung Won.
“Secret Garden” and “Daemul” already running, but the “Athena” will be aired on December 13. I expect a lot from “Athena”, this drama could be more successful than “IRIS” because more handsome men are there.

“Secret Garden” and “Daemul” are so far quite successful due to Hyun Bin and Kwon Sang Woo. Their acting are very good, even comical. I amazed, especially for Kwon Sang Woo, in “Daemul” his character is dynamic and cheerful, quite different from his usual roles.

After rejected by Hye rim and waited out side her house for quite a moment, Mr. President finally had a chance to ask her an apology in personal. He also handed Hye Rim her late husband’s belonging from the war. Her husband’s last note was an apology and a request to stay alive and take care of their kid well.

In that rare moment, Hye Rim critized as well as spoke out her aspiration directly to Mr. President. She asked for the president to value every single life of Korean Republic people. Mr. President of course knew what Hye Rim said was right and he promised her to do his best.

After unloading his own burden by meeting the controversial Seo Hye Rim, Mr. president could cheer up again. That’s when he decided to stop by at the ox soup restaurant run by Ha Do Ya’s father. I like the image of the president presented here: full of wisdom, thoughtful, charismatic and humble.

Meanwhile, after having a hard day facing a demonstration at his work, Ha Do Ya ran back home. That’s when he met Mr. President directly. They ended up sitting on the same table all together.

The demonstration done by the village people always demanded the same thing: to release the corrupt Kim Tae Bong, since he had promised the people in his campaign to overcome the horrible mosquito problem by developing the hundreds of acres of an unoccupied landside and mud field.  The land actually owned by congressman Kang Tae Sang’s father in law. However, due to some problem dealing Kim Tae Bong and Minister Lee Bae Ho the land was kept unoccupied for 30 years.

The land issue caused the area to be swarmed by mosquitos that lead to high rate in people and animal death within the area. Seo Hye Rim decided to take an action since the prosecutors seemed to misunderstand the demonstration. Ha Do Ya thought they’re Kim Tae Bong’s people who told lie stories. But Seo Hye Rim stood defending them. She did it by words and action: she did the fogging to the whole village herself.

However, one night Seo Hye Rim said to Do Ya that she didn’t hate Korean Republic. She only needed a country where she can raised her only child in a healthy environment and above all: safe! She said she’s going to migrate to Australia.

I love the way Do Ya’s character always called Hye Rim “ajumma” and their relationship was getting better. Do Ya didn’t admit that he had a feeling for Hye Rim when she asked him about that.

Ha Do Ya was invited by the minister at the Heritage Club, to discuss about Kim Tae Bong’s case. There he met the other leading characters. He met Jang Se Jin and they spent it for arguing one another. then on his way to meet Mr. Minister, he saw Seo Hye Rim and Kang Tae San, in the middle of discussing something.

Kang Tae Sang had been persuading Hye Rim to run for the short term election. His party needed people’s sinpathy while Hye Rim had aspiration to fight for. However, Hye rim refused and decided to just migrate to Australia.

On the day of Hye Rim’s going to Australia, Do Ya’s getting upset. He then did everything to stop her from going. He ran to the airport to tell Hye Rim she’s under arrest because her working hours community service hadn’t finished yet: 2 more hours. Ha Do Ya just taking the hard way of saying “Please, don’t go.”

Even though I thought this drama was kind of slow, but I kept looking forward of what comes next. So I guess i’m just continue with the sory..
