My favorite vocalist, Lee Hong Ki from FT Island, will make his debut on movie project. He already confirmed to involved on movie “Our Heaven” (우리들의 천국). This is not his first experience on acting, before he played so playful and energetic on “You Are Beautiful” and also on trans boundary mini drama “Noriko Goes To Seoul”.

I really love his bright and cheerful personality but on ‘Our Heaven” Lee Hong Ki has got  a challenge,  he will plays as a trouble maker top star. One day his act makes him ends up on community service at hospice, on that place through the patients he met, he learns about life and music.

Lee Hong Ki chose  this movie as his debut after he read the script carefully, he was touched by the story.

The production will begin on September, and the movie is planned to be released some time in 2013 for Korea and Japan.

I’ll probably sound unfair if you compare this article to my review on 2PM’s “Hands Up”, but I think if you really listen to this song, you’ll get something stick in you mind afterward.

I found this song quite bizzare with the combination of FTIsland’s-Japanese-Rock-style and some sort of 19th century puppet show/ opera song….you know the down beat part where they use conventional guitar instead of the electric one..that gave me a certain chills. I have to say it’s a clever thing. And I also like the rap part. As for the chorus…what sticks in my mind everytime i hear this part (you this song is almost in every music chart or music show nowadays) is Lee Hong Gi’s hand gesture (the “hello hello” and “goodbye goodbye” part precisely) which now is very popular. And I like Hong Gi’s new hair style…at least his cuter face is a good camuflage  of his wacky attitude .

Always fun to listen to the songs from Ft.Island, including their latest single, “Love, Love, Love” from their latest album “Beautiful Journey”. Personally I like Lee Hong Ki’s voice, simple and fun.
The music in this song sounds funny and familiar, and also fun seeing the MV. When watching this MV, I imagined the personnels as marionette dolls (as the models) that’re dancing. If it were so, then it’d be a very “Bye, Bye, Bye”-N’sync wannabe. But thank God it didn’t happen …
Overall, this MV was great, but their hair and Hong Ki oppa’s big ring was quite distracting
Oh yeah .. the way Hong Ki oppa saying “goodbye, goodbye, goodbye …” was very funny.
