It’s so unpleasant to see Sung Joon’s victorious smile..

In Hye met a someone that day to talk about business. From their gesture, I can tell they’d known each other very well for a long time. Was this James? I don’t know…

Han Do Hyeon couldn’t accept failure. He’s not giving up yet. Before the contract was sign, everything was still possible.

There’s been this lady hospitalized at Injin hospital. She really likes Jung Yeon. I already had a feeling that she’s an important person. She suddenly called Jung Yeon in. She said she knew Kim Do hyeon was Jung Yeon’s ex and the person who made her be unhappy. She said coincidently she’s related to him and that she had a way to save him. But when she’s not finish with her words, Yoo Sung Joon came to ask for her cooperation in the process of Han Yeong’s take over. It turned out that she’s the president of IJ investment, an important corporate in Han Yeong’s share purchase.

Do Chul found Do Hyeon and made him came with him to see the father. It turned out that Kim Tae Sung didn’t know that Do Chul would bring along his brother. Do Hyeon seemed to be reluctant at first, but then his father warned him about Choi Guk Hwan. Tae Sung told him that he should be very careful dealing with people like Choi Guk Hwan and Yoo Pil Sang.

Do Hyeon and Jang made a visit to the lady in the hospital. Having the unpredictable encounter had made Jung Yeon and Do Hyeon looked very awkward.

Do Hyeon was very surprised that the lady knew about his relationship with Jung Yeon. And to make it more surprising, IJ president lady called Jung Yeon in to the room to ask her opinion about Do hyeon. She wanted to know his personality. Jung Yeon then told her, “Kim Do Hyeon is the person who takes money as a very big responsibility.”

Do Hyeon said thanks to Jung Yeon later on. But Jung Yeon said she’s actually scolding him. And when Jung Yeon was about to go, Myung Joon came to pick her up. Do Hyeon looked very upset. However, Jung Yeon told Myung Joon that she’s not goint to get a revenge againts Yoo In Hye. She’s not blaming her anymore.

Sung Joon didn’t get the investment. The lady had decided to be on Do Hyeon side. A support also came from In Hye. She used her foreign network in this matter. Lone Korea fought back. Sung Joon was furious and burst himself to Lone Asia’s office. He went crazy over there, threatening Do Hyeon and In Hye.

However, Lone Korea wasn’t yet the winner. The Han Yeong Bank’s board wasn’t convinced yet that they could trust Lone Korea, especially the vice president. They’re also still facing the issue of the protest workers. Do Hyeon worked hard to get the vice president’s trust. He tried to persuad him in many ways, including going down to meet the protest workers, listened to their demands and made a proposal of how to work the issue out. This way seemed to work. The vice president looked a bit swayed.

Do Hyeon was very optimistic that he would get it this time. Lone Korea would eventually win with the vice president turning his side to him. Do Hyeon was ready for the big meeting with Han Yeong Bank that morning when he was suddenly approaced by a couple of men. They were the policemen. An important person had been murdered.

My closure for this episode is: should this drama be this tiring?? They should’ve had a more a dynamic plot.

With Do Hyeon revealing himself to one of Han Yeong’s Director, Lone Korea had to work quickly. Yoo In Hye asked for his father help to make her be able to talk to a higher in Korean economic department. He got the big influence in Han Yeong Bank and In Hye needed to win his vote.

In Hye informed Do Hyeon about Jeong Yeon dating Myung Joon. I gues Do Hyeon’s feeling to Jeong Yeon wasn’t over and he got a bit jealous. He told Jeong Yeon not to date Myung Joon regarding his reputation as a womanizer. Jeong Yeon was angry with Do Hyeon’s interferance of her personal life. She told him that she didn’t love him anymore and she quite knew Myung Joon in personal. Well, that’s hard slap for Do Hyeon.

Lone Korea-Asia started their mission. Their strategy was to make Han Yeong Bank’s share value fly down on the stock market. They push the bank for an acquisition option.

And what they did was causing the national chaos. People were getting worried, so many of them rushed to the bank to withdraw their money. This incident also affected Kim Tae Sung’s project. Poor him. He always got into the trouble of which his son was making.

Lone Korea was just one step closer of getting the Han Yeong Bank. One  of the directors had agreed for acquisition and the take-over party was of course Lone Korea. Everyone celebrated the event, even though it’s not final yet. But everyone felt they were winning already.

Do Hyeon was let out his joy. He drank, cried some laughters, sang, danced with his buddies…but as soon as he got home, he became the lonely Do Hyeon. He talked to himself, “Mom, I did it well, but i have no one to show off my success to. I have no one I love to share the moment, but you.” Then he started to sing the “money” song.

Kim Do Chul was hanging out with Yoo Mi Ran. He became a kind of a gigolo for her?? i don’t know the proper word for that, but Mi Ran gave him money and all the fancy things because she found him interesting and entertaining. But suddenly, attorney Choi’s men kidnapped Do Chul. They also took Kim Tae Sung. Attorney Choi warned both of them to stay away from the Yoo family.

Do Hyeon had showed himself to the public as the young President of Lone Korea. He got famous that he appeared on TV and newspapers. This was one of the strategies to promote Lone Korea, to gain people’s trust on the company.

Yoo Myung Joon compose a beautiful song. He said he still had no idea for the lyric, but he intended on making a record. “But it’s not for money. I just want to leave something for people I love.” And just about a minute later, he was in pain again. Jung Yeon hurriedly shot him a painkiller and that made him said, “And the only thing I can get from you is the painkiller.”

I think it was so sad…

False alarm for Lone Korea. The bank could not make the decision yet. Lone Korea had a competitor. And when the board meeting was held, the Lone Korea team was so shock when they saw who was the other party: Yoo Sung Joon and the team. Even the Ex-Lone Asia man was present. The traitor.

Do Hyeon reported the situation to In Hye. She was so shock. Then the Yoo family held a family meeting. In Hye asked his brother to step back. His father didn’t want to take any side. And Myung Joon did a walk-out action because he just fed up with what his siblings were doing. Well, a bank related to millions of people’s lives and this family seemed to make it such a light game, just because the big brother was jealous with his younger sister.

Both Lone Korea and Sung Joon’s team planed a strategy to win the directors’ vote. They did everything, from a political lobby to bribery. And then it came to this one man. He’s the cleanest among other directors and also the only one who still against the acquisition.

Do Hyeon told his team that they could bribe this man. They had to do it right with this man. Therefore Do Hyeon met the Director himself. He told him that Lone Korea could be trusted for giving the best for Korean people. He also promised that they will keep the Director because he was the best in his field. Do Hyeon even went down on his knees. He was trying to show the Director his sincerity.

The day of the final board meeting had come. The board made a vote and then set up the final decision. The result was so shocking. They chose Sung Joon’s team. And this is Sung Joon’s victorious smile:

In the next episode we will know why the Han Yeong Bank board directors didn’t choose Lone Korea. Sung Joon might be vicious, but we all forget one thing: he is also smart.

Kim Do Hyeon was in trouble. In Hye didn’t like the situation. It could endanger their big upcoming big project, taking over Han Yeong Bank.

The Yoo family get together for a meeting at the Yoo mansion. Myung Joon caught the news that Do Hyeon was in trouble. He knew his sister too well that In Hye would never let anything be her obstacle. He said, “I heard that if a horcerace was sick,it would be executed. Would you do the same thing to Do Hyeon?” In Hye just coldly said that she had no choice. After In Hye leave the room, Myung Joon called Jung Yeon to tell her about Do Hyeon’s situation.

Jung Yeon came to Myung Joon’s office for a regular check up. She said she couldn’t understand why wealthy people still determine to make money (to work) even when they’re so sick. Myun Joon said he’s not making money. He’s just trying to put things back in the right order. I don’t really know what he meant but the look in his eyes seemed so meaningful.

Myung Joon also asked Jung Yeon if she had considered his offering. She thought it’d impossible for him since her intention was to bring down his own sister. However, Myung Joon responded so casually, saying “Let’s say I think my sister needs someone to hold her down from her big obsession. So i’m gonna do everyting you said.”

Kim Do Chul was hanging out with Yoo Mi Ran…i was like, what?? How could they? Mi Ran brought him to the mall and told him to shop everything he wanted. The shameless Do Chul was too happy to let the opportunity go, so he shopped like crazy. And not only that, Mi Ran spoiled him with expensive watch.

Do Hyeon couldn’t lose this war. He had to find the way out…anykind of way out. He and his close mates investigated who brought that old case up and the blokes got pictures of someone connected to Yoo Sung Joon. So Do Hyeon finally knew who’s trying to drag him to hell. But it’s not gonna be THAT easy, for sure.

Yoo Sung Joon pushed smoothly Mr. Prosecutor to finish Do Hyeon, even though the prosecutor target wasn’t really Do Hyeon. They’re after the Congressman. Yoo Sung Joon tried to convinced him that he’ll be his full supporter to the director in the prosecutor office.

In Hye was so disappointed in Do Hyeon for being caught in the middle of this issue. She said she couldn’t let anything jeopardizing her obsession to buy Han Yeong Bank. “Even if I acknowledge your ability, if this case is bad for the project, I won’t be able to walk with you in this.”

Do Hyeon was of course so upset. But he promised In Hye he would clean the mess, so she would continue on trusting him for the big project. He then tried to talk to the Congressman, but he resent Do Hyeon. He didn’t want to be dragged in to any of this,

Kim Tae Sung tried to persuade his loan shark buddy to join him in the gold mine business. Well i don’t really understand about it,but i don’t have a good feeling in it. So let’s just see.

I put this still just because I HATE Ricky Kim’s hair style there!!! Ugghh could he please stop having funny hairstyle in this drama?? 

Do Hyeon visited his mother cemetery. His longed for so much money pretty much related to his mother’s obsession in wealth too. That “Money” song…stayed in his heart forever and that song really ruined his soul.

Outside the cemetery he met his dad who just visited Do Hyeon’s mom’s cemetery, just right after Do Hyeon left. He saw his father came so he just waited outside. Do Hyeon just wanted to know why he was here. Tae Sung didn’t answer it, he just mumbling…but then said thanks for his help last time. Do Hyeon said it wasn’t him who gave them the money. His father then told him that he would regret breaking up Jeong Yeon. Do Hyeon just left.

When you’re tricked by a devil, you need a more evil plan to get out of hell. That’s what Do Hyeon did. He beat back the Prosecutor by bringing up his old black files. He threaten the prosecutor that if he continue on this old case, Do Hyeon would open the same black files of him on the court. Final word, Do Hyeon won it.

As soon as he’s out off trouble Lone Korea started to work on the Han Yeong Bank project. The team proceed on targeting Han Yeong Bank’s highers.

It’s another medical check up day for Myung Joon. This time he made an improvement in approaching Jung Yeon. He asked Jung Yeon to have a walk in the sun where they could have a light conversation…and then when they got back inside, just look at how cute Myung Joon look at Jung Yeon. He did really have a big crush on her.

But then there’s a knock on the door. The ajumma informed that Yoo In Hye came. It was a surprise for everyone. When Mung Joon was about to step out of the room, he asked Jung Yeon to come along. Jung Yeon refused at first, but Myung joon said it was the perfect time for debut show of their scenerio.

And this was the surprise face of In Hye when she saw Jung Yeon came down together with Myung Joon to the living room.

She asked why she’s here. Myung Joon just casually said, she’s a friend of mine. He explained that both of them met at the first time in the hospital when Mi Ran was hospitalized. He wasn’t telling pure lie.

In Hye talked to Myung Joon in private, saying that Jung Yeon was Kim Do Hyeon’s ex-fiancée and it’s not a good thing for them to be such close friend. She asked if he love her and if she love him back. He was open to her by saying he did have a quite deep feeling for her and he’s still trying to get her heart fully swayed.

In Hye then confronted Jung Yeon, showing her disapproval of their relationship. However, surprisingly, Jung Yeon stood still saying that she’s a free woman. She said that her relationship with Do Hyeon was over and In Hye knew so well about it.

The prosecutor reported to Sung  joon about his failure. There’s no other ways. Sung Joon finally decided to leave this minor thing and focus on Han Yeong Bank project scheme conducted by Lone Korea.

Lone Korea team once again manipulated the stock market, causing Han Yeong Bank’s points rocketing down. And when the price reach the limit, Lone Korea bought gave a hit to the bank. Actually Do Hyeon had tried to persuade one of the bank’s directors to sell his part to him, but he refused it. So he was so surprise when finding out that Lone Korea’s President was Do Hyeon.

Do Hyeon had the winner smile.

He felt bad afterward,but In Hye always found the words to ‘sooth’ him. She said that Jeong Yeon would never change. If Do Hyeon decided to go back to her then she asked him if he could just let go everything he came this far?

Lone Asia had another big project to run: taking over Han Yang Bank. That’s the biggest bank in the country and to make come true the Lone Asia’s ambition to become the empire of Korean economy, they had to get that bank. And for this job,In Hye had made Do Hyeon as the General Partner, the chief of this project. That decision made one of In Hye’s man very unhappy. He’s been with Lone Asia way longer than Do Hyeon, but In Hye picked a newbie instead. In Hye said this project required politic more than skill. Do Hyeon was the only person among them who graduated from Korean institution, while others were US graduate, so he had more network in the country than others.

Kim Tae Sung’s plan to frame Yoo’s eldest son was a big success. Their target was getting the land on a particular site, and yes they got it. The woman slept with Mr.Yoo and Kim Do Chul and the other man burst in taking pictures of them having affair. On another hand, Kim Do Chul thought he had a chance on Yoo Mi Ran.

Jeong Yeon summoned to the Director’s office. He’s sending her to a VVIP patient who had to be hospitalized at home. Jeong Yeon went to the pointed place and found the patient was Yoo Myung Joon. At first she thought it was just one of his dirty trick, but then she found out that Myung Joon was really sick. He had a serious illness and only few people knew it. His scream told us that he was so much in a real pain.

Do Hyeon set his old team again. This time he had his old buddy along in the team. The men thought it was gonna be an almost-impossible mission to buy such a huge bank as Han Yang. But the sky was the limit for Do Hyeon. He’s very optimistic with the project. However, his old buddy seemed to look very worry.

Yoo Sung Joon didn’t want to give up on his revenge to his sister. He still digged up Do Hyeon and In Hye’s weakness points. He proposed In Hye’s disappointed man to join him bringing down Lone Asia.

Myung Joon made a visit to his sister, In Hye. They talked about the business and inheritance issue. On his way out, Myun Joon met Do Hyeon. He asked Do Hyeon to handle the problem his facing, but Do Hyeon politely refused by saying he’s working for Lone Asia then and handling a big project. He suggest Myung Joon to go to Attorney Choi.

Myung Joon then brought up a fable stroy about a monkey that’s trained by a prince. The monkey was very talented that it could walk on two feet. The monkey then thought it was a human. He then be able to get some good food. He got peanuts and things…but at the end, he’s just no more than just a monkey.

Do Hyeon asked him why Myung Joon told him such a story. Myung Joon said, “Nothing. It just came out of the blue.”

Do Hyeon got two presents from Yoo In Hye: an unlimited credit card and a brand new car! On his test drive, he recalled the memory when he was first driving his own car with Jeong Yeon. I think deep in his heart, he still loved her. But his ambition was something he couldn’t handle.

Jeong Yeon kept nursing Yoo Myung Joon. They got along quite well then, even though it’s in the professional frame. Myung Joon knew that Do Hyeon and Jeong Yeon was history, then he asked her, “Do you want to take a revenge to him?”

Jeong Yeon said if there’s a person she wanted to take a revenge to, it wasn’t Do Hyeon. It was the person Do Hyeon was serving.

Myung Joon then remember what his sister had planned for the couple. How she separated them in a very smart way. He also recalled what his sister said in his latest visit that she had no turning back. In Hye was like the goddess of war. There’s no word “stop” in her dictionary.

So Myung Joon went in a rush to catch up Jeong Yeon. He said, “You can use me for revenge. I’ll do everything you ask.”

Jeong Yeon said, “Really? What if I want to hurt Lone Asia’s president, Yoo In Hye?”

Sung Joon knew about Lone Asia’s plan to take over Han Yang bank. He’s planning to crush down Lone Asia through this project. If things didn’t go well with the project, Lone Asia’s name would be expose to the public and the impact would be huge.

However, the smart In Hye decided to  establish another company for the project. It’s called Lone Korea and she appointed Do Hyeon as the president. Do Hyeon seemed very happy about it, and so was his team. But his good old buddy seemed to be worry. He reminded him that since all legal documents would be in his name, if everything went wrong in the process of taking over Han Yang Bank, he was the one who got to take the responsiblity. But Do Hyeon was once again very optimistic. “Everything’s gonna be alright,” he said.

Sung Joon looked for so many ways to bring down In Hye and Do Hyeon. He found an old case that include Do Hyeon in it. The case was about an investment money for a congressman campaign. The money came from stock manipulation Do Hyeon did. Sung Joon contacted a public prosecutor, whose junior was Do Hyeon’s tight competitor at uni.

The confident Do Hyeon was very cool when he was summoned for investigation in this matter. He was a bit surprise when he met the prosecutor he’s facing. He knew this man ability, but his too smug to be scare. Do Hyeon said back then he was way better than him (the proscutor). But, i think inside his heart, he knew he was in trouble.

The bad news arrived at In Hye’s desk. She talked to someone very seriously about Do Hyeon’s matter. She said this kind of obstacle was unacceptable and couldn’t be on their way. It had to be eradicated and there’s no exception for this matter.

Well, i don’t really know what she meant by that. I wasn’t sure she was talking about Do Hyeon or the documents that tells Do Hyeon’s matter or Yoo Sung Joon. I guess episode 8 answers the questions…

Jeong Hyeon tried to move on and she looked like she did. She was more cheer up and could give some times for herself to enjoy the life. She went shopping with her friend. It was in Yoo family’s mall. The girls were about to leave the mall when Yoo Myung Joon was coming. He was there for business. Well, practically he was the boss then. I can tell that Myung Joon’s eyes when seeing Jeong Yeon were pretty serious and deep. Could he be falling for her for real. I mean like love at the first sight? Anyway, Yoo Myung Joon showed everyone that he was not a stupid womanizer wealthy kid who didn’t know business. He’s actually quite good. If things continued to be like this, my heart could sway to him…

Chairman Yoo’s health was in a little problem. He’s summoning a doctor (with nurse Jeong Hyeon) to do the examnination at the Yoo mansion. The whole children were then, but Sung Joon came late. When he came and saw his sister, he asked for a private conversation. He told In Hye to drop everything (her power in family’s capital). That way, he could let the current issue be forgotten. But In Hye had a strong will and was too smart for her brother to trick her. She suceeded making Sung Joon got angrier.

It was a little bit an awkward situation when In Hye, Myung Joon and Jeong Yeon met each other. In Hye was just too elegant and she kept the manner that she greeted Jeong Yeon casually. When In Hye had left, Myung Joon, in a cutely serious face told Jeong Yeong, “Remember when I told you that you can use me (as the subtitute for Do Hyeon)? That’s still valid. I juts want to let you know that.” In a shorter sentence, “I’ll wait for you. I like you a lot.”

Kim Do Hyeon had a new heair cut. A year had passed so it’s time for him to be back to his homeland. He came back as a successful Lone Asia executive. For me, he looked more like he’s one of Big Bang’s member.

Jeong Yeon met Kim Tae Sung at a bus stop. She greeted him politely and respectfully. She told Kim Tae Sung that the wedding was canceled…looked like for good.

Sung Joon had people brought Do Hyeon to him. He offered him a new alliance to fight against In Hye. But he just got the wrongest guy ever! Do Hyeon refused…

Meanwhile, Kim Tae Sung and his team had a new strategy after they found a real gold in an old abandoned gold mining. They tried to get closer with the Yoo family. Kim Tae Sung had put his woman-partner to be in a disguise and tried to seduce the Yoo’s eldest son. And it seemed to work.

On the other side of war field, the subcontractors under Lone Asia ran a protest. Do Hyeon gave a speech about what really happened and was going to happen within the industry. The company decided to take the subcontractrs from china, so that’s really a bad news for the local subcontractors. Then the company did a very dirty way to get rid of the protester. They had some people beat them up…..One of the protesters was Jeong Yeon’s dad, and Do Hyeon knew it but didn’t do anything much about it.

Jeong Yeon was looking for her father in the garage, but her dad’s friend told her he had gone to protest Lone Asia. So Jeong Yeon rushed there and when she arrived, it was the exact moment of the protesters being beaten. She found her dad on the ground, bleeding unconsciously…and there she saw Do Hyeon, staring at both of them speechlessly. I could see a tremendous hatred in Jeong Yeon’s eyes.

Let’s see how ugly this drama can be…

Jeong Yeon made a sweet make up recording while waiting for Do Hyeon, but ended up sleeping alone that night because In Hye made his stayed at her room to have some drink together. He got drunk. But nothing happened, not even close to whatever dirty thought you had in mind. They just had some drink together and Do Hyeon shared his troubled mind with his boss.

Unfortunately, Jeong Yeon had to see Do Hyeon and In Hye stepped out of In Hye’s room in the morning. So when Do Hyeon called her, she just ignored him.

Kim Do Chul had to suffer because of his dad recklessness. The loan shark had him as a hostage and they beat him so bad. They refused to let him go before his dad paid his debt, even though Kim Tae Sung begged on his knees…

Meanwhile, Yoo Sung Joon found an IT freak to investigate who was behind the stock market incident. This guy just out of prison and was running an ordinary life as a butcher, but the chaebol made an offer he couldn’t resist.

The loan shark threatened to demand the money from Tae Sung’s other son, Do Hyeon. So Tae Sung gave a visit to his son to talk about it in an elegant way, but Do Hyeon resisted him. He couldn’t let go of the memory of his poor mom. He didn’t want to know whatever happened to Tae Sung. He said his real dad had died long ago, the day he decided to left him and his mom.

I don’t know what made Jeong Yeon had an idea to invite In Hye for a personal meeting. She asked her to let go of Do Hyeon. But this woman was a genius that Jeong Yeon wasn’t in the same level with. Jeong Yeon said Do Hyeon became an “unstable” person, he was like someone possessed by something. But In Hye beat her argument by saying, “In my opinion, Attorney Kim is the firmest person i’ve ever known. I don’t think you should have anything to worry about. That’s why I don’t understand what your problem is.”

The Yoo family meeting was held. Everyone looked tense. In Hye announced what Yoo family business everyone would be handling. The fist son got what he’s been handling. Myung Joon got the shopping mall. Mi Ran got a time to think about what she wanted to do, while Sung Joon, In Hye said things would be assessed first. Sung Joon was really unhappy with it.

Yoo In Hye asked Mr.Choi to retire. She prefered to have Do Hyeon than his senior family attorney. Mr.Choi looked a bit surprise and I could see in his eyes that he’s discontent with the sudden decision. In Hye asked him respectfully, but everyone knew what that really meant.

The loan shark approached Do Hyeon and told him about Tae Sung’s problem. Do Hyeon didn’t want to know. The loan shark tried to threatened him, but Do Hyeon’s current position was above the cloud…no one could or should threatened him. In Hye was there when the loan shark approached him, so she sent her personal bodyguard to find out what was really going on.

So the cool bodyguard came to the loan shark’s office to rescue Do Chul. He beat the whole bad guys, even the boss, and paid for Tae Sung’s debts. All of it. Do Chul came home safe.

Yoo In Hye challenged Do Hyeon if he was ready to look forward. She said she’s sending him to Lone Asia’s branches in New York, London and Hongkong to let him learn more about the company. That’d take the whole year. Do Hyeon came to the hospital, gave a surprise to Jeong Yeon. And Myung Joon finally knew who Jeong Yeon’s fiancee was.

Do Hyeon said he was sorry about the last time. He told her that he really loved her and would always do and would never let go of her hand forever. But Jeong Yeon said she couldn’t. She said Do Hyeon was running to fast that she might not be able to run together with him. Do Hyeon said he’s going abroad for a year. He asked her to go with him. But we knew the ending…

Jeong Yeon didn’t accept his proposal this time. If he couldn’t let her go, so she was the one who had to let him go… The moment was so sad… 

Yoo Sung Joon  got a good news that his IT specialist got the name of the “bastard”. They got someone as a hostage.

The IT specialist said he got the name after beating that hostage. Sung Joon was shock like a freak when he heard a very familiar name: Kim Do Hyeon.

And the hostage was none other than Do Hyeon’s right hand man. Poor him.

Sung Joon burst in Do Hyeon’s office like crazy. He freaked out, almost lost his mind. But when he got to Do Hyeon’s room, he found no one…and nothing. Everything was cleaned up. Mr.Choi told him that Do Hyeon had resigned. He’s going abroad with Lone Asia. Sung Joon was furious, but Mr.Choi said he could help him. Sung Joon asked why he wanted to do that. She asked Do Hyeon if he had reserved the whole restaurant just for both of them since there’s no other customers around. Do Hyeon said no, he couldn’t afford that kind of thing just yet. But I don’t know if he was lying or the restaurant was always that empty…by his waving hand, a surprise came out for Jeong Yeon. There’re four Il-Divo-like men sang a beautiful song for her. We could tell that she’s happy. And I was happy seeing Do Hyeon still had this kind of tender look when he watched Jeong Yeon’s expression. I guess part of this lovely place arrangement was “a little help” Yoo In Hye offered Do Hyeon before he left the Yoo mansion.

So the couple did make up. Do Hyeon presented a beautiful golden necklace to Jeong Yeon.
And they shared a passionate kiss…

Kim Tae Sung went to a shark loan to get some money.
He borrowed 300 million Won! Gee…The loan shark was an old friend, but he had confirmed him that when it came to money matter, he didn’t give a damn about anything.
So if he couldn’t pay him back, he’d be dead. And I have a very bad feeling about it.

Do Hyeon and his team started to launch the bait on stock market. He made the Sejin Bio share price raising up and to look like the most potential trend on the market. And as he had predicted, Yoo Sung Joo fell for it. He demanded 30 billion Won from the family capital. This bad tempered man is just too greedy.

The next day at work, Jeong Yeon’s cheerful mood was instantly ruined by her own friend. She was admiring Jeong Yeon’s necklace and asked if his boyfriend had already been THAT RICH. She said it was not a mere necklace that you could buy in any jewelry store. It was made by a special order and worthed tons of money. She said there’re only two options: one, Kim Do Hyeon was that rich, or two, the necklace was a fake.

Jeong Yeon made it a big issue. She demanded the truth from Do Hyeon. And when Do Hyeon told him the truth, it was just the worst ever. He told her that it was a gift from Yoo In Hye and he had no idea how much it worthed it. Jeong Yeon told him to return it. So boys, remember this. If you are about to give a nice present to your girlfriends, make sure it wasn’t gift from another woman, especially if that other woman is your sexy boss.

This issue led to another. Jeong Yeon cried out about how much Do Hyeon had changed. She said it seemed that he had signed a contract with the devil and he let himself to be dragged into it. (Hah! that’s what I said earlier, wasn’t it?)
She then asked the forbidden question: “If you have to choose between me or your current job, which one would you choose?”

Do Hyeon emotionally admitted it that yes he had change. He said,”Finally I find someone who acknowledge my talent and I can be a rich person with it. I’ll be richer, your rich man. It’s something that my mom always talk about and now I have everything right in front of me. I won’t let it go.” Then he took Jeong Yeon’s hand and say, “All you have to do is just stay by my side and hold me tight. Because if you don’t, this hand…might let you go.”
Aaarrrrggh…

“Wise man said, only fools rush in”…..That song was so perfect for Kim Tae Sung. He’s just so reckless. He was in a full spirit watching Sejin Bio share’s price kept rising up..so he went out to treat his fellows some fancy stuffs.

I love this scene, the spot where In Hye had a meeting with Do Hyeon…I love the view to skyscrapers. In Hye asked if the plan of putting on Sung Joo behind the bar would harm Do Hyeon. He said no. He’d make it very smooth and untracable.

So, the next, by a flip of his hand…the real war started. They were making the Sejin Bio share price had a free fall on the market.

Jeong Yeon was set up by her friend to have a drink in this particular bar. She wanted her to cheer up and finally confessed that she was bribed by this rich guy to bring her there. She pointed to the stage: Yoo Myung joon was performing on stage, with his red suits and guitar…which girl wouldn’t see it attracting? Only Jeon Yeon. She was about to leave when Myung Joon caught her. He said as an expert in man-woman relationship, he knew she’s having a problem with her man. So he was simply offering himself as a friend to talk to if she needed someone to burst out her feeling to.

The Sejin Bio share was a total failure on the market, thanks to Do Hyeon. He was succeeded. Mr. Choi had to work hard to let Yoo Sung Joo escape the jail. Chairman was furious. The candidacy of his successor might likely to be changed after this incident. He summoned another child who played a big role is saving the family’s capital from a total broke: In Hye. He asked her to take care of family capital from then on.

They succeeded. In Hye congratulated Do Hyeon. And without their notice, Mr. Choi started to be suspicious about their partnership.

Mr.Lee advised his daughter to make the fisrt move to make up her relationship with Do Hyeon. Do Hyeon was actually standing in front of their house, but he hesitated and did nothing, just stare at his phone home screen picture.

Jeong Yeon tried to reach Do Hyeon phone, but it was turned off. She called his office and then informed that Do Hyeon was in Busan. She decided to go there. What she didn’t know was, he was on business trip with Lone Asia.

Do Hyeon quietly had his mind thinking about Jeong Yeon, but his ambition was just too big for him to control. In Hye told him that people needed not to look back to be in this war, to achieve his goal in this business. she asked if he was ready to move forward and remove any obstacles from the past.
He said yes.
“Even if the obstacle is Jeong Yeon?” she asked again.

Aaarrggghhh. I think I’m confirmed where this drama is leading to….

I always have an unstable emotion everytime I watch this drama. The feeling of bitterness, ego, frustration…all mixed up in 70minutes something… And hearing these sound tracks, so mellow…what a perfect match for the drama. If you haven’t watch the drama yet, just listen to these songs and figure out what’s the atmosphere is like.

But actually I have one favourite score music in Midas. The energetic business-theme one. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it anywhere. So if any of you know what music score I’m talking about and you got the link, please share with me, i’ll appreciate it.

Kim Tae Sung surely knew Choi Gook Hwan. It seemed that they had worked together or at least worked at the same place or sort of. However, he kept himself invisible from him. I guess they had a kind of unfinished business?

Meanwhile, Jeong Yeon and everybody received the bad news about the accident. She wasn’t hysterical, but just couldn’t stop crying a river on her way to the hospital. Thankfully Do Hyeon didn’t suffer from any serious injury, but Jeong Yeon couldn’t be a little cheerful. She was scare to death for almost losing her groom for good and upset for the wedding cancelation at the same time…well, who didn’t? If it had happened to us, we would’ve probably felt the same complicated emotion too.

Kim Do Hyeon’s condition wasn’t that bad and he seemed to be more upset about the suspicious accident than the wedding cancelation. He thought the accident was intentional and he got to hunt down the bastard behind it all.

Kim Tae Sung and Do Chul went to the hospital too, but they didn’t dare to get inside. Jeong Yeon was about going somewhere when they stopped her and told her who they were. Jeong Yeon was very surprised because Do Hyeon always said that he had no more living family member…and then suddenly came the father and the step brother? Tae Sung asked Jeong  Yeon for not telling Do Hyeon about their coming. He just wanted to make sure he was okay after the accident. Tae Sung also said that he’d work hard to show Do Hyeon and Jeong Yeon that he deserved to be addressed as the father.

Kim Tae Sung visited his old friends at this particular club. He’s planning to play on the stock market. And since he just out of jail  and had no money, these friends might be handy for him.

Yoo In Hye visited Do Hyeon at the hospital when Jeong Yeon was around. They’re abit awkward since Jeong Yeon was Mi Ran’s nurse in Injin Hospital the other day. Jeong Yeon felt uncomfortable being among them, you know…the atmosphere turned to be serious and business-smell when your lover’s boss is around. But I think what Jeong Yeon felt was a little more than that. She’s the one who should go while she must have thought that she’s supose to be the one who had the fullest right to be next to Do Hyeon.

It didn’t take long for Do Hyeon to get recover. He then straightly get down to business. He’s running the mission to bring down Yoo Sung Joo. For that reason, he had to use all possible weapon he got, and one of those was the club hostest network.

Jeong Yeon was back to work earlier than her leave permission. I think that’s the best idea for her at that time…to keep her mind busy with work to forget about all the upsetting moments. She was informed that another Yoo family was staying at the hospital, as a patient. He was Yoo Mi Ran’s brother, Myung Joon.

Jeong Yeon went to check on him. She knocked on the door and when she opened it, she saw this:

That’s really the most unbelievable scene that you could imagine seeing in the hospital. So no wonder Jeong Yeon had her jaw dropping moment for quite a longer time than any other surprises.

The bitch took off and Myung Joon summoned Jeong Yeon to come  in. She stayed cool when she did her job to check on his condition, but the womanizer just could resist his nature to seduce her. He said he heard about her wedding cancelation and it actually didn’t matter for him. He said she could still be his date even if she’s already someone’s wife.

And that’s totally a bad idea. Jeong Yeon got more upset. “Do you think just because you’re the Chairman’s son and have more money than me you have the rights to make fun of me? You really don’t know empathy.” Bottom line was, if he thought that she’d fall for him for those stupid words, he was absoloutely wrong.

In Hye joined Myung Joo at the graveyard. They’re visiting their mother. They shared the same mother, the second wife of Godfather Yoo. Myung Joo asked her why thier mother left them when he was still so young (so then we knew how he got his womanizer nature from…lack of mother’s love). In Hye finally told him the truth. She said their mother didn’t leave them in her own will. She was kicked out of the house. She got an affair and chose that man over the Yoo’s wealth and her own children. She broke free of herself.

Do Hyeon went for the first option mission. He’s bringing down Yoo Sung Joo’s stock on the market that tha shock would leave him a bad damage. His mission through the spy-hostest worked well. She was invited, as the VVIP hostest, to the secret meeting of some leader businessmen that organised by Sung Joo. She reported to Do Hyeon what she witnessed.

Jeong Yeon had a big doubt about Do Hyeon’s love to her and their current situation. She thought there’s too much shock in their relationship, but mostly because she was sure that Do Hyeon had changed alot. And he was late for their meeting…

Do Hyeon asked Jeong Yeon to move in with him, but she refused. She said he didn’t sincerely want to live together with her. He just want to save his image to her. She said he just felt sorry for what happen so he thought he’d be excused from his mistakes if he had Jeong Yeon live with her.

They were in the middle of an argument when Do Hyeon spotted there’s someone nailing him all these times. He fought him and finally got the camera. He checked on the pictures at the cafe, together with Jeong Yeon. She looked very worry, but soon turn to be jealous when she saw there’re many pictures of him and In Hye. He said they’re just working partners. But Jeong Yeon was just very upset with all this. She asked for giving them sometimes not to see each other to evaluate themselves.

So Do Hyeon was confirmed that he’d been watched. He informed his man to stay alert and moved to another office. But the big question for this matter was, who was behind it all?

Tae Sung and his fellows met this shoe polisher man who worked at a stock market office. He might be no body in that office, but his access as an office cleaner was undeniably good. Tae Sung asked for some advise for this man. And since Tae Sung used to take care of his son very well, that man was willing to help. He told him that Bio Sejin’s share would be the trend on the market. He suggest buying it, wait a little, but not too long…and then sell them all.

Do Hyeon was on the way to a make-up-date promise with Jeong Yeon when he got a phonecall from In Hye. He was invited to the Yoo’s children family meeting. The first son seemed to be very humble, but Yoo Sung Joo was just the big bastard. The eldest son said they’re having this meeting to make sure that everyone would support Sung Joo and if he got the Chairman position he’d take care of his siblings, and that’s why he thought their very own Attorney Kim should be present. But the evil Sung Joo barked that once he got the Chairman position, he would kick all the concubines’ children out of his family. That counted Yoo In Hye, Yoo Myung Joon and Yoo Mi Ran. Those words surely left a wound in Myung Joon’s heart and Mi Ran just couldn’t stop crying.

Yoo In Hye looked calm but solemn. Surely it hurt her the most hearing those words and watching her younger siblings brokenhearted. I think it was not only about the money matter, it’s also about aknowledgement that they were also the Yoo family and they deserved to be treated like ones.

Sung Joo left the room and he’s brother went after him. Do Hyeon just stood there rigid seeing the family drama. In Hye then told him to go for the second option instead. That meant In Hye was about sending her oppa to jail.

Money money…it’s scary isn’t it? And yeah, the poor Jeong Yeon had to be the innocent victim. I had a feeling that if she was about to make Do Hyeon choose between her and his current job, he’d probably to be more likely to let go of her… I just hope she won’t ever push him that far…or else she ends up hurting herself.
