Finally the D-day has come, today (August 27th) at Chuncheon military base, Song Jung Ki had to say goodbye to us. He officially started the military service. Last week he already held fans meeting, that was the farewell party for him.

He become the first celebrity who entered military after the scandal of celebrity soldier revealed. Before leaving for military, on his speech he said he will seriously run the duty and will come back soon.

Song Jung Ki debut as actor on 2008 through small role on “Frozen Flower”, but last year was his big year. He made double hit with drama “Nice Guy” and movie “Werewolf Boy”. So, goodbye and good luck for Song Jung Ki, see you in the next two years…

Military service is obligation for Korean male citizen, and of course not any exemption either for our gorgeous guy, Song Jung Ki.

Today (August 1st) through his agency, Song Jung Ki wrote message for fans that he already received enlistment notice. He will enlist on August 27th. In the letter he also shows his gratitude and farewell greeting for everyone who supports and loves him.  Last year his acting on “Nice Guy” and “Wolf Boy” were great, and I bet there will be millions of people missing him in the next two years.

Actually for loyal fans there’s a chance to say goodbye personally. Song Jung Ki plans to hold fan meeting on August 17th.

The time is ticking faster and i bet Hyun Bin and his fans counting the days so excitedly. Finally just 20 days left before the private Kim Tae Pyung (Hyun Bin’s real name) discharged from military duty on December 6.

And with pleasure i just want to share this pleasure, Hyun Bin’s latest photos. These photos were taken from military event that held on November 14th when Hyun Bin trusted to became the host the 23rd Marine Corps Music Concert. That night he said even has 20 days left, but for him it still feels a long time.

As always, he looked dashing wore military uniform, but i don’t like his military haircut that night, frankly i think he’s little bit weird with that haircut, i prefer the haircut on his first day entered the military about two years ago.

Reportedly, before officially discharged on December 6th, Hyun Bin takes some day-off for 8 days start from today (November 15th).
He uses the vacation to meet the people he loves, family and friends, and of course for preparing his return as an actor, especially his dealings with his new agency.

Due to his popularity that never fade even physically he is on military, so many people anticipating his comeback, including me..ooh…time really flies, and i like it. Actually i am really happy these days because my two favorite actors, Kang Dong Won already discharged (on November 12) and (surprisingly) he has younger post-military appearance, and then this, just with a wink (only a couple more weeks) Hyun Bin also will be back. yay! I can’t wait for D-day…

Omo!!! actually i’ve been sinking on my works for these days, but suddenly i was distracted when seeing  these pictures of Hyun Bin! I can’t take off my eyes of this dashing private, and i can’t get back concentrate on my works until i post and share this just because i miss him…

This morning (September 28th), Hyun Bin oops..i mean the most charming soldier in the world, Kim Tae Pyung, was involved  in military ceremony at Battle of Yongsan Memorial Plaza, Seoul.

On ceremony that was attended by lots of military leaders from navy, Hyun Bin must be proud since he had the task as the flag raiser. While running his duty, although he looks so stiff and serious in military uniform, Hyun Bin can’t hide his charm as the star, just so stunning.

Actually, in less than three more months his duty will be completed.  Oh, December, please come fast… everybody misses him…

Actually i have a high expectation this years, because in this year there’s a bunch of my long awaited actors that will be discharged from military service, they are Kang Dong Won, Kim Nam Gil, Hyun Bin, and Lee Dung Gun who has already discharged on March.

After completing 24 months duty as public service officer on Gangnam-gu, Seoul, finally our ‘Bad Guy”, Kim Nam Gil, is back! yay! He officially discharged from the duty on July 14th. But too bad, there was no special ceremony when he’s discharged.

There’s no time to take a rest, he has to face the tight schedule after the service ended. He entered military service straightly when “Bad Guy” ended on July 2010, so that he already has got schedule to promote  that drama in Japan soon. Kim Nam Gil played really impressive on “The Great Queen Seon Deok”,  because of his appearance on that drama,  his popularity rose. Before he’s released from the service, so many drama offers came to him. Reportedly, Kim Nam Gil still consider some dramas, maybe he will comeback with sageuk drama.

On May 28th, Lee Jun Hyuk’s agency made official statement that start on June, Lee Jun Hyuk will join on military service..ouch…my favorite villain has to disappear in the next two years. Bad news for all, really really bad news!

Actually it’s his second  military notification, he’s requested the postponed for  first notification that he got when he started “The Equator Man” project a few months ago, and now after wrapping up that drama, it seems that he is gonna obey the duty calling. Although he still has a right to request a little more time since he was born on 1984, but he’s going for military this year.

Maybe he think this is the perfect time to do  that, when his career is on the spotlight, so he needs time to contemplate and take a break from that spotlight. His name has been popular through his amazing acting on his latest dramas, “City Hunter” and “The Equator Man” (but too bad, on those drama his roles ended tragical).

They haven’t decided the exact date, but we must anticipate he’s gonna enlist next month, ouch…I already miss him.

Frankly i didn’t like myself when i posted this article, seriously..i felt like a stalker, peeking others’s personal life. Actually i just want to share this information, Hyun Bin (Private Kim Tae Pyung) recieved 10 days and 9 nights vacation due to his corporal promotion on Marine Corps. His holiday started on May 5th, yeah…our beloved private is free like bird for a while…

So just in case if you meet someone like him in the next 9 days at someplace in Seoul you will not be confused, maybe that person wasn’t his doppelganger, but he might be the real Hyun Bin.

On first day, he was seen  hanging out with his friends on Apgujeong, Seoul. That night he met his acting mentor, Kang Gun Taek, i bet he already miss his job, acting. and i know he just wanted to blend, but he looked cool even he was  just wearing the casual outfit and cap, and I just realized about his long legs..damn! i miss him…

Actually, i’m not his fans, but of course he is on my most-awaited-actors-back-from-military list,  he will be officially discharged on December. His agency annouced that he will just spend his free times with his friends and beloved family, he doesn’t have particular job schedule due to his status on military.

After he failed to joined on musical “Doctor Zhivago” due to his health, finally Joo Ji Hoon decided to come back on  big screen soon. On January 19th, The Keyeast  (Ji Hoon’ agency) annouced that after taking a rest to recover his health finally on January 18th, Joo Ji Hoon agreed to come back. He confirmed to be acting on new fictional sageuk movie “I Am The King”.

“I Am The King” is fictional story about the young King Sejong (before he’s crowned as a King), so this movie doesn’t based on true history. Before being a King, Sejong switched his identity become a beggar. whooaaa…i feel de javu with this, so Mark Twain, not too different with Lee Byung Hun’s movie “The King of Chosun”. (guys…frankly i’m getting bored with the “King” matter, because lately too much projects with the word “King”, what happen here??? )

This movie will be Joo Ji Hoon’s first project after his drug scandal on 2009 and his duty for two years. As i know his latest project was “Naked Kitchen” (2009) alongside with Shin Min Ah. Now  I hope the public give him the second change to proof that he already paid his mistake and becomes a better person.  Welcome back , Ji Hoon-ssi..so nice to see you again on the  screen

As his promise, finally on November 27th Joo Ji Hoon held the fans meeting. The 2000 fans came to see and meet him after almost two years in military. Joo Ji Hoon looked so happy on that event, he felt blessed because he has the loyal fans like them.

On military he learned about many things while he was a soldier. He becomes a better person now. Actually he didn’t only learn about life in military because surprisingly  for his fans, he showed his singing skill and guitar playing. The fans really were happy to listen to his gentle singing voice.

He should train his skill on singing more often indeed, since he decided to take part in the musical  “Doctor Zhivago” as his come back project  which requires him to sing live.
