Regardless whatever happened out side the production, drama “Love Song” must continue … oh maybe I’m slightly obsessed, but let me soak up Park Yong Ha through this drama.
Yoon Eun Hye is confirmed to continue working in this drama, but then who is to replace Park Yong Ha?
There are two closest candidates: they are Jo Hyun Jae or Eric Mun (Mun Jung Hyuk). Jo Hyun Jae have just completed military service on June, while Eric is scheduled to be completed this October. Not much to say about them, obviously I’m not their fan.

But I know a little about “Comrades, Almost A Love Story” (the original story of this drama), a beautiful love story, though a bit bleak, and I think Jo Hyun Jae is more suitable for “Love Song”. For me he has a little “Jeong Woo Seong’s charm”, in short his face is perfect for romantic dramas such as “Love Song”. And for me Eric’s face too crooky to appear as an innocent guy in this drama.

But, these candidates are still uncertain. There may still be some changes, and I hope there is still more candidate actors who are familiar to me, like So Ji Seob, Won Bin (I really miss him appeared in drama), or  Cheon Jeong Myeong.

Before I continue writing, I’d like to apologize to all readers as I’ve apologized to my team for being hard to get out of the mourning days…but I promise I’ll move on after this.

For me too sad to discuss his death, now I just want to discuss about his life.
Park Yong Ha made his debut through teenage show on 1995, but he just got a predicate Hallyu Star since success starring “Winter Sonata” (2002) as Kim Sang Hyeok.
Besides acting he tried singing, his career as a singer quite successful, especially in Japan.
I think he has a cute smile, especially with a clean shaved face, he looked like a baby … so cute … so innocent … and cool and sexy and…okay, i’m gonna stop here 
During his 15-year career, Park Yong Ha had a lot of drama and starred in the hit movies. One was the drama “On Air” (2008), Park Yong Ha cast as Lee Kyung Min, a drama director that falling in love with a drama writer…the love story was very sweet. He even showed his expertise by contributing to sing a few songs for the soundtrack of this drama.
His acting is brilliant in “The Scam” (2009), a movie that took stock market life as the setting.  His acting as “a lucky boy” there was very interesting.
Latest drama “A Man’s Story”(2009) also got success. Even the plan (unfortunately only plan) at the end of this 2010 he will (would) appear in “Love Song-Drama“.
In his short life, I think that Park Yong Ha had left a deep impression to the Korean entertainment, especially to his fans. For the friends, So Ji Sub and Song Seung Heon, Park Yong Ha is known as a cheerful and positive person. Unfortunately, the Korean public have to lose him..he was a good actor.
I’ll miss your smile, but 고맙습니다 for all your work, Yong Ha-Ssi…

I think there were peculiarities in Park Yong Ha’s suicide. He was undergoing a tour in Japan which started last week, he returned to Korea only to see his father. Late July, he was scheduled to begin production of his latest drama “Love Song-Drama“, in August he planned to hold concerts in Japan. A few days ago when the South Korean team lost on the 2010 FIFA World Cup, via Twitter he said about his proud for the South Korean Team as well as giving them supports. It felt strange, people who planned a suicide but still had planned plenty of activities and encouraging the others…

Park Yong Ha’s funeral commenced this morning, July 2nd, through a Buddhist ceremony. It was attended by families, close friends, fellow celebrities, and of course his loyal fans. He’s been very very popular in Japan and many of his Japanese fans made their effort to attend his funeral. The funeral was flooded with tears. And looking at the photograph So Ji Sub’s holding, Park Yong Ha in white shirt smiling his beautiful smile, really break people’s heart.

Park Yong Ha and So Ji Sub had been buddies since college times. I can never imagine how So Ji Sub’s feeling, holding his buddy picture in his funeral…

Finally, Verdi Media, a producer company, announcing Yoon Eun Hye as a female lead to joining with Park Yong Ha in the upcoming drama “Love Song-Drama”, a drama which is a remake of a successful Hong Kong movie entitled “Comrades, Almost A Love Story “.
“Comrades, Almost A Love Story” (1997) tells of two Chinese Mainlanders who met in Hong Kong and eventually fell in love, but because of sin and circumstances forced them to seperate. This movie, starred by Maggie Cheung and Leon Lai, was also successful in Korea.
Because it will be a remake in Korean drama version, it will have many difference in terms of story and script from the original one. The director is Ji Yeong Soo, who successfully worked on “Oh! Pil-Seung, Bong Soon-Young ” and ” Take Care Of Young Lady “.
Filming will begin late July and is expected to appear in small screen at the end of the year. Duo Park Yong Ha-Yoon Eun Hye will likely add beautifulness to this long love story … I wish …

When I first read the news, I didn’t believe it. Just yesterday I wrote about the new drama “Love Song-Drama” that he will (would?) be playing with Yoon Eun Hye.
Sadness mixed with disappointment, do not understand why he took that decision.
On Wednesday, June 30th, his body was found at about 5:30 a.m. by his mother in his room. The allegations is that he hung himself with a cell phone charger.

His body was brought to Kangnam St. Mary’s Hospital. His family, relatives, and friends were there. They didn’t say anything, they just cried. Among them was his best friend, actor So Ji Sub.
This man had played in many dramas, movies and had released many singles and albums, as well as received many awards. But I really liked his acting in “On Air” (2008) as a stubborn director who was so strongly defend his pride. And yesterday I was hoping a lot of “Love Song-Drama” but now it’s only an empty hope…
Now I can only say so deeply sorry for this and hope the best for all his family, friends, and of course, fans.
I will always miss you, Park Yong Ha…

When Blossom passed me this news, my reaction was “WHATT???” Really, I couldn’t believe it easily. I asked her, “was it confirmed yet?” I still hoped it’s just hoax. She finally said, “Yes, all confirmed. He committed a suicide.” Then we checked all the media in Korea released this news.

Oh My God…not again. Why Korean people always thought a suicide as an option in life? I’m not his big fan, but i think Park Yong Ha was a very talented actor. He also had a strong based fans inside and outside Korea, especially Japan. Many people love him, even if he had asked for THE REAL love…i just couldn’t stop asking “Why? Why does it have to be like this?”

Reading the news, i didn’t know which one was more heartbreaking. Park Yong Ha’s death or the tears coming down for him. Look at Choi Ji Woo and So Ji Sub…i’m speechless.

I still owe Blossom to edit her writing about “Love Song-Drama” and just planned to publish it today, but now this?

I’ve decided to still publish the article, to remind us that he’s one of the talented actors Korea has ever had.
