For this spring the OST Queen, Baek Ji Yeong, brings two good things. Last week she announced that she will marry her younger boyfriend, Jung Suk Won in June. Then this week she showcase her voice for soundtrack of Number 1 Monday-Tuesday drama “Gu Family Book”.

Baek Ji Yeong sings ballad song “Spring Rain”, this is for Choi Kang Chi and Yeo Wool (Suzy) theme. As always, Baek Ji Yeong’s voice makes this song has power and dramatic. The MV was also released and it shows mostly the couple moments. They look so cute together. Through this drama Lee Seung Gi and Suzy officially become the favorite drama couple for this spring…

Joo Won and Suzy got the Popularity Awards at 2012 KBS Drama Awards. Joo Won of course through his phenomenal drama “Gaksital”.  And Korea’s “First Love” girl Suzy got this award through her drama “Big”. Thankfully, Joo Won was not teary at this first awards of the  night…which means I’m sure there more awards for him tonight at the event.

Here we are finally in BIG final episode. It may be luring and seems to be brightly clear reaching the end…the writers chose “surprise”. But what kind of surprise, just wait a little while

The episode starts with Da Ran declaration at the restaurant. “I love KKJ!” After that she took off her wedding ring and put it on the table, in front of the whole family. Gyeong Joon brought Da Ran away. Mr. Gil apologized to Seo family.

Da Ran said she would love him now and then on, no matter he would remember or not. “I’ve never met any crazy girl like you,” said Gyeong Joon. “Yes, I’m crazy,” said Da Ran.  Then she gave him back the watch and it surprised Gyeong Joon. “You searched for this in the water? You’re really crazy,” said Gyeong Joon. “Yes,you’re right I’m crazy for sure.” And then she continued, “Even though you won’t remember, I will for sure get you,” said Da Ran.

For Gil family this matter was difficult, but for Seo family, Da Ran was just making things easier. Mrs.Seo dealt with it just casually.
Then Se Yeong called them, informing Gyeong Joon’s body was making a reaction

Da Ran and Gyeong Joon were walking home together, hand in hand, ignoring people staring at the dirty Da Ran. Then Da Ran was trying to make Gyeong Joon be able to keep one silly memory. She took a bush flower from the public pot on the path way, then crossed the street. The ajeossi who saw it called for her and Gyeong Joon had to say she’s a bit not right in mind. “Gyeong Joon, should I sing for you?” she cried from across the street.  Then she sang Pororo song. Everyone thought she was a loony. Gyeong Joon approached Da Ran and said, “If i can remember this, it’d be cool.”

Gyeong Joon’s aunty was going to take Da Ran’s ring, but Ma Ri came asking for it. “It’s mine, I bought it. It’s not a lie. So please give it to me.” Then Ma Ri asked the aunt and uncle a favor, “When Gyeong Joon awake, you should tell him the person who’s been loyal to him is Jang Ma Ri.”

At home, in the kitchen, Gyeog Joon was sitting facing Da Ran, interrogating her, “Since when you start liking KKJ?”
Da Ran:”I don’t remember exactly.”
Gyeong Joon protested, “You should remember about this!”
Da Ran confessed, “At the theater, while listening to the record together.”
Da Ran also said she started to feel her heart wavering on the park that day when she felt something weird in her heart and Gyeong Joon was coming for her. “I actually saw you that day,” said Gyeong Joon. DA Ran said she had no confidence that day, that’s why she hid.

Da Ran had to go to her family. Oh I love the way Gong Yoo smiled when he said goodbye to Da Ran on the door before she left.

Da Ran was facing her family. Her mother was going to cut Da Ran’s hair for her punishment, but she never did it. Mrs.Gil cried, “I don’t know how to face my mother. I don’t even know my own daughter.”

Gyeong Joon spent his day in the hospital with his two favorite kids. He’s blowing out baloon. When the boy’s baloon was blown out, the surprised Gyeong Joon felt something weird in his heartbeat.

Mrs.Gil proposed Se Yeong to get closer to Yoon Jae again after he’s back healthy later on after the surgery.

Choong Shik was ordered by his mother to court Da Ran from school to home. Meanwhile Gyeong Joon was actually waiting for her in front of the school, but Da Ran went back home with her brother. So Gyeong Joon came to her house, but he couldn’t get in so he asked Da Ran out. But Mr.Gil prohibited Da Ran to go out of house.She’s definitely grounded. Gyeong Joon was still waiting for her behind their house. He told Da Ran to go down from the balcony and he’d catch her. But Mrs.Gil stopped her. Later on, Da Ran didn’t give any notice to Gyeong Joon and just jumped down. She’s landed bad, but she’s fine. They hid behind th plant in Gil’s backyard and did the backstreet date just like teenagers. She put back the watch to his wrist (Gyeong Joon made her) and then kissed him and Gyeong Joon was very happy for the kiss.

Mrs.Seo told Gyeong Joon that she’s not going with him and his father because she wanted to stay with Gyeong Joon to take care of him. Gyeong Joon was a bit touch, but stayed cool. Then she got a call from Mr.Seo telling that Ma Ri took away Gyeong Joon’s body.

Gyeong Joon tried to catch her. He called Ma Ri on his way. Ma Ri was really desperate. She said, “If Da Ran is crazy, I’m doible double crazy!” Gyeong Joon said, “Fine! If you’re not giving back my body, I won’t go to Germany nor take the surgery. I will stay in Seo Yoon Jae’s body and I will die soon anyway.” Ma Ri lost the argument and give up. She sent back Gyeong Joon’s body.

Ma Ri told Gyeong Joon that if when he’s back he couldn’t remember anything but insisted on staying by Da ran’s sise, Yoon Jae would also suffer just like her. Because no matter what, Yoon Jae was Da Ran’s fiancee.

Ma Ri met Da Ran and told a lie about the ring. She  said she took it from the restaurant and put the ring somewhere in mandoo’s ingredient. The crazy Da Ran look for it here in there, even run after the take away mandoos. But of course she found none. Actually I don’t really get the urgency of this scene.

The unconscious Yoon Jae in the hospital remembering the last time he talked to Da Ran. He remembered the way Da Ran desperately asked him if he really loved her. Gyeong Joon’s body cried.

Da Ran was across the street and Gyeong Joon called her. They talked on the phone. Da Ran said that everyday she would remember him well, no matter he would remember or not after he’s coming back.

Gyeong Joon talked straightly to Ma Ri that he would stay with Gil Da Ran, so she would not need to come to him anymore. Gyeong Joon was giving the harsh reality for Ma Ri and that’s just his style, but he’s making it a friendly break up. “Ma Ri, come here,” Gyeong Joon gave her the last pat on the head.

Ma Ri left for US straightly soon. She only had Choong Shik sent her away. Choong Shik wrote down his nmae on Ma Ri’s bag, told her to wait for him.

Gyeong Joon was ready for Germany. He told Se Yeong that when the Seo Yoon Jae  she liked was back, she could try to get his heart again. “Please be sexy.”

Da Ran came with an old green umbrella she just had it fixed. Gyeong Joon was watering the plant. “Gyeong Joon, do you remmber the first time we met?” asked Da Ran. She asked him to spray her so it’d be like rain, like the moment they first met.

They redo the first time they met, by taking the bus. Gyeong Joon said he was the one who change their umbrellas. Gyeong Joon said if he appeared next to Da Ran, she should catch him. And no matter Gyeong Joon might indifferently shrugged her away on that moment, Da Ran should surely catch him. So they would have a moment like this one, the sweet memory under one umbrella under the rain standing side by side.

Sadly, that’s also the place where they’re saying good bye. Gyeong joon cried, telling out his  desperation. He didn’t want to lose all his memories with DA Ran. “Gil Da Ran, I love you.” Then he left.

One year later.
Da Ran was doing fine. The sick cute kids were recovered. Teacher Ha and his wife were expecting a child. Choong Shik became a cook in his family business. He sent mandoo regularly to Ma Ri. And this time, when he was about to send mandoo to Ma Ri just like usual, Ma Ri suddenly appeared in front of him. Ma Ri was studying photography. Choong Shik took their picure together with his mobile.

Gyeong Joon’s house was occupied by another family. Da Ran walked pass it.

Then she rode a bus. It was raining and 10.10. On the bus, a radio show was airing, telling story that seemed to be Da Ran’s. Then there were two green  umbrellas on the bus floor, Da Ran smiled. Da Ran got off the bus, opened the umbrella for it’s raining. Then someone called her name. A tall big man in checkered shirt came running joined her under the umbrella. But we didn’t see his face, just the broad shoulder and the KKJ watch on his wrist.

The scene was back to moment when Gyeong Joon told her that moment under the umbrella before he left.  Da Ran remembered what Gyeong Joon told her  that day: to catch him and no matter Gyeong Joon might indifferently shrugged her away she had to run after him. And she did it.

It’s definitely a happy ending. But a mysterious one. We never see the face of that broad shoulder. The writers leave it for us, the viewers, to make our own version of the ending.

Ha! I think the writers were “trapped” by their own complicated story. So they didn’t want to push anything to spoil the good story building. So they make the ending this way. Happy ending…but complicated.

Gyeong Joon didn’t say anything and hurriedly got up his bed rushing to the ward. He didn’t even say anything when Ma Ri asked if he’s still Gyeong Joon or Seo Yoon Jae. Gyeong Joon’s memory back to the underworld. When he was about to reach for Yoon Jae’s hand while Da Ran’s voice was calling, Gyeong Joon asked Yoon Jae to wait for awhile. “Why don’t you say anything? Gyeong Joon, right? You’re not yet back, right?” demanded Da Ran. “Yes, I’m Gyeong Joon, Gil Da Ran Teacher.” He seemed not to remember anything and that’s what he said.

Da Ran and Ma Ri were shock and confused. “You even didn’t remember the accident?”asked Da Ran. Gyeong Joon said no, nothing. The girls were trying to explain everything to Gyeong Joon, from the accident to his wedding to Da Ran, but Gyeong Joon was cold and kept saying that he didn’t remember anything. When they arrived home, Gyeong Joon only remembered Da Ran’s bed. This reality was very hard for Da Ran. Ma Ri took this chance to take Gyeong Joon’s attention. She brought him upstair to show her room.

It’s strange. And I don’t think I fell for it. I was right, it’s a lie. From the way he looked at Da Ran while he was climbing up to MA Ri’s room, the look meant something. Then from the balcony, he’s hand was kind of trying to “touch” Da Ran from afar. Finally he told Ma Ri that it’s a lie. He did it for Da Ran’s best. She had to start forgetting Gyeong Joon because Yoon Jae was coming back soon.

Deep in her heart Da Ran also didn’t fall for the lie 100%. She kept asking Gyeong Joon if it’s all memory-loss thing was true. She tried so hard to make him remember, but Gyeong Joon stayed cold. Da Ran said to Gyeong Joon that he didn’t have to do it this far since he’s still not back to his body yet, if it’s about the promise he made to Da Ran. But Gyeong Joon was still with his acting no matter how hard Da Ran tried to remind him. Da Ran asked him to throw the trash. They’re all the memorable things Da Ran once packed and almost threw away when they had a fight. Gyeong Joon took it and when he saw there’s a trash truck right in front of their house, he hesitated. Da Ran asked if he really could throw the trash away. Gyeon Joon had taken the notes he drew for Da Ran with his mobile on his birthday party and then just threw the trash to the trash truck in front of DA Ran. Gyeong Joon was actually hurt too listening Da Ran cried. He was also crying in silent behind his door and tried to hold himself not to go soothing Da Ran.

In the hospital, Ma Ri was taking picture with Gyeong Joon with the couple shirt. She still determined that she’d be marrying Gyeong Joon. She imagined the sleeping beauty with a reverse situation.

Gyeong Joon and Da Ran met  Yoon Jae’s mother. She told them that once Gyeong Joon awake, they would accept him as their son. Gyeng Joon, in his cold way, told his mother, “But would the kid accept you parents as his parents? After what he had been through, do you think it’d be easy for him to accept all these?”

With the way Gyeong Joon talked to his mother, Da Ran knew that Gyeong Joon didn’t lose his memory. “Fine, just keep do that,” she said coldly as Gyeong Joon still didn’t admit it. At home, Gyeong Joon started eating the frozen pizza again and Da Ran offered him to eat his favourite ramyeon together.

Gyeong Joon said to Ma Ri that when he’s back and he lost his memory, he asked Ma Ri not to let him meet Da Ran and nor tell her anything about what he was saying. Ma Ri promised him.

Gil parents asked why Da Ran was not going with Yoon Jae to Germany and instead moved her job to another school out of town and even live there alone. Da Ran said it’s difficult to explain everything at that moment and she asked them to just wait. When she got home, Gyeong Joon was studying as preparation for himself after he’s coming back. a Ran said no matter if he couldn’t remember anything, but she would remember everything.

Gyeong Joon visited his uncle to give his mother’s journal. When he got back, Choong Shik met him and told him that Da Ran would move to teach at another school and live in there. “She will be living alone when you’re going to Germany, so she thought of moving out. You really don’t care where my sister would go and where she would live?” asked Choong Shik. Gyeong Joon could see how Da Ran actually had packed her things while he left and she herself had gone out of Seoul. The thought that he wouldn’t be able to meet Da Ran from tomorrow and then on was actually hard for Gyeong Joon. So he rushed out. Da Ran came to the new school and Gyeong Joon actually followed her there.

Da Ran was going to have the orientation of her new working place when Gyeong Joon grabbed her out. “So you have to run away to this place?” asked Gyeong Joon. Da Ran said he had no business with whatever she did. She said just like him, she also wished the whole things that happened to them never happen to her. She wished there’s never a wedding, there’s never she fell for him, and even there’s never the time when she met him.

Mr.Gil tried to talk with his daughter about her life. Da Ran cried, letting out all her feellings to her father. She actually couldn’t take the hurt no matter how far she run away. Mr.Gil called Gyeong Joon to pick up the drunken Da Ran. She asked Gyeong Joon if he could just remember small thing about their memories, that’d be enough. She’s desperate, Gyeong Joon knew it for sure.

Mr.Seo said to his wife that it’s weird that Da Ran would not be going together with Yoon Jae to Germany. Mrs.Seo said that they would find out about the reason later tonight. Da Ran said to Gyeong Joon that he shouldn’t come to meet the parents that night and let her explained everything to them.

Gyeong Joon asked Ma Ri to give him back his watch. Then he came to pick up Da Ran to go together to meet the parents. Da Ran said it’d be complicated if he came along. But Gyeong Joon managed to drive Da Ran. But he brought Da Ran to the lake, instead. It’s the place where they met the last time before the accident. He’s kind of going to flash back and erase everything they had. He said there he would erase the memory that Gyeong Joon had met Da Ran, had a wedding, live together, fell for her and even the 10.10 promised. They’re all gone, never exist. As the symbol of this determination, he threw away the watch into the water. “Just go back to the moment when you’re waiting for Yoon Jae here,” he said before he left Da Ran alone in the lake.

Just like Gyeong Joon who threw away everything into the lake, Da Ran also had to the same, throwing all their memories in that place and just go back to the time when there’s never Kang Gyeong Joon in her heart. Da Ran flashback her sweet memories with Gyeong Joon but unlike him,she couldn’t erase them all. Instead, she came down to the lake to search for the watch.

In the restaurant, both parents were waiting for Da Ran and Gyeong Joon. They looked intense. Ma Ri and Choong Shik were also there.

Da Ran was all dirty but she managed to get the watch back.

When Gyeong Joon arrived at the restaurant, he said there’s something he wanted to say to the family. “He said he probably let go of Da Ran now, but as soon as Seo Yoon Jae is back, he will get Da Ran back for sure. And there’s no such a thing as someone else in Da Ran’s heart.” Choong Shik, with his big mouth, said, “So there’s never KKJ?” Gyeong Joon was about to give an answer for that when suddenly Da Ran came with her dirty body. “Yes, there’s been KKJ. He’s not someone else. I’m crazy am I? But I will tell everything to you now. Please remember what I’m going to say. I love KKJ.” Da Ran looked at Gyeong Joon and everyone just looked startled, but Gyeong Joon. He just looked cold.

In the same time in the hospital, Gyeong Joon’s body was reacting. The heartbeat suddenly became faster. The time has come… One more episode to go..

I really hope Da Ran will have a happy ending, with whoever he is. If the writer wanted to make the story had the bitter-but-close-to-reality, Gyeong Joon better lose his memory when he’s back and let Yoon Jae get Da Ran’s heart once again. But if it’s gonna be fantasy, I bet there’s gonna be a surprise at the end. Let’s see…

Gyeong Joon was sick, but he said it’s Seo Yoon Jae who’s sick. He refused Da Ran’s care. He refused to eat meal Da Ran cooked for him. He’s being cold to everyone, of course also to Ma Ri who came to visit him. “You lied (about Gil Da Ran) because you have no other idea to get me, right?” asked Gyeong Joon.  Ma Ri defended herself.

Da Ran was meeting her mother in-law. She refused the idea of setting aside Gyeong Joon’s rights to be prioritized as well. He’s also their son. Mrs.Seo insisted that Yoon Jae’s life would be the first priority. “No, Gyeong Joon will be the first,” said Da Ran. “If you promised me this I will persuade Yoon Jae to undergo the surgery.” Yoon Jae’s mom agreed. Da Ran had another condition, “Please firstly tell Gyeong Joon your gratitude and apology for this.” Mrs.Seo agreed.

Da Ran scold Gyeong Joon for being childish. Gyeong Joon said he’s a child. Then Da Ran told him to come with her meeting the parents.  Mrs. and Mr.Seo were expecting Gyeong Joon and Da Ran to come to the appointed restaurant. But Gyeong Joon decided to just go to the next restaurant. Gyeong Joon wanted to order something that Seo Yoon Jae like, da Ran told him to stop being childish. She asked him to be good. “They’re your family,” she said. “What family? I don’t care.”

The parents asked if Yoon Jae felt better. Gyeong Joon said his body doesn’t feel good whatever his feelings. Mrs.Seo asked if he’s still feel bad for Gyeong Joon. Of course he was. During the meal, Da Ran tried to break the ice. Da Ran caught Gyeong Joon and his mother shared something in common: both didn’t eat beans. Da Ran tried to bring up Gyeong Joon’s good side. But knowing that his parents still put Yoon Jae first no matter what, Gyeong Joon became upset  again and left.

Gyeong Joon visited his uncle to talk about Gyeong Joon’s update. He also told them that this person was Gyeong Joon’s brother. He thought his mother agreed to be a surrogate mother for money, but his uncle said his mother (Kang Hee Soo) agreed to be a surrogate mother because she loved Yoon Jae’s father, not for money.

This information just worsen everything for Gyeong Joon. He was furious burst into his parents’ room. “Did you love Hee Soo?” he accused his father. Mr.Seo admitted that the reason Kang Hee Soo was chosen as his surrogate mother because she loved him. “I’m the one who asked him to do it”, said Mrs.Seo tried to calm down Gyeong Joon. Gyeong Joon thought his parents were really cruel people.

Broken heart and desperate, Gyeong Joon was drinking in a bar. Da Ran tried to get him home, but Gyeong Joon kept on drinking so many glasses. She asked him to stop acting like a kid. “I’m grateful to be in Yoon Jae’s body,” he said. Da Ran told him not to torture himself and Yoon Jae and she trusted him that he could do things right. “Because you have a kind heart,” said DA Ran. “You believe me that much? Because i like you, you trust me that much?” Da Ran said, “Yes, I believe in you.”

Gyeong Joon cried in front of the mirror and forgot the watch in the toilet. Ma Ri, who came late after Da Ran and Gyeong Joon already left for home, took the watch from the bar man there.

At home, gyeong Joon was still upset. He threw away the Miracle book. Da Ran was thinking about both men’s lives and fate, as it’s written in that book.

Mrs.Seo told Se Yeong that Da Ran also on Gyeong Joon’s side. Se Yeong said it’s weird. She said Da Ran was supposed to be on Yoon Jae’s side, making him the first priority.

Gyeong Joon made up his mind and become softer to Da Ran. He was back to be the obedient Gyeong Joon. He even agreed when Da Ran told him to go to the hospital. Later on both of them realized that Gyeong Joon lost his watch, but pretended didn’t mind about it. Da Ran just asked him casually, but later at school Da Ran was upset and even cried. Ma Ri  saw Da Ran cried. She told herself that she didn’t want to give back the watch to Gyeong Joon.

Gyeong joon finally decided to undergo the surgery and told his parents about it. But he said he’s gonna do it alone, without anyone, not even Da Ran. The process would be done in Germany. Da Ran told her family about Gyeong Joon was leaving for Germany for medical treatment and she wouldn’t go with him.

Back home, Da Ran gave Gyeong Joon his ticket and told him to surely come back. DA Ran asked if he lost the watch in the bar, Gyeong Joon wasn’t sure himself. But he stayed cool. He looked for the watch to the bar and found out it’s with Ma Ri. He asked Ma Ri to give back his watch, but Ma Ri refused.

Gyeong Joon cleaned up his room and also was throwing away his book. He refused Da Ran’s help. Before leaving, he visited his body and threw away the angels picture. He hugged his parents coldly and sent Da Ran away coldly too. Da Ran gave him the Miracle book.
Da Ran said she wanted him to be happy once he’s back. But Gyeong Joon said harsh thing to her. “What you’re expecting is Yoon Jae’s happiness, right? So just wait, i’ll get him back.”

Yoon Jae’s mother told Da Ran that she tried to forget Gyeong Joon because his father loved that woman and that’s why she also couldn’t see Gyeong Joon since he’s born. But deep down, she loved Gyeong Joon too.

In the airport, Ma Ri insisted on going with Yoon Jae. “Then you go, I don’t. I would live with Yoon Jae’s body,” said Gyeong Joon coldly. Mari immediately called Da Ran that Gyeong Joon was running away. Da Ran went to the airport quickly and she’s on time. Gyeon Joon was checking in. “Gyeong Joon-a!” cried Da Ran. “I will tell you the truth, would you listen? Your parents really love you. Don’t go. I love you.” Da Ran cried, as well as Gyeong Joon. Ma Ri watched the two of them cried.

Da Ran and Gyeong Joon were discusing the meaning of the angels. The drawing was drawn by Ms.Kang. Gyeong Joon asked his father and Prof.Park about the angels drawing. Prof. Park told him that his mother was so happy when the drawing finished. She hoped Yoon Jae and Gyeong Joon to be happy as brothers when they finally meet. She hoped Gyeong Joon to have a nice family: parents and a brother.

Gyeong Joon cntemplated the book and the drawing again. He figured out what he should do. He flash back and imagined how Da Ran had made him happy. He was crying for all this imaginations.

Then he cooked for Da Ran and asked her to go the hospital with him tomorrow. “To keep promise, I would hold your hand,” said DA Ran. “No, you should be there to  be by Seo Yoon Jae’s side. This body’s side.” He asked Da Ran to move on with her life if he come back without rememberring anything. They both cried again on the dining area that night. Da Ran in front of the fridge and Gyeong Joon was eating Gil Da Ran Bread.

The process of medical treatment to Gyeong Joon’s body started. Gyeong Joon dismissed Se Yeong and the nurse. When the blood flew, Gyeong Joon held his hand and passed out. Ma Ri found Gyeong Joon’s body was still unconscious.

Da Ran found Yoon Jae’s body was sleeping on his bed in the office. She touched his face and he woke up. “Gyeong Joon?” asked Da Ran. Yoon Jae’s body was just looking around, still weak. “You’re Gyeong Joon, right? asked Da Ran.

Aahh this is sad. The truth was too harsh for Gyeong Joon. I think the best thing would be Gyeong Joon finally back to his body without remembering anything, that way he needed not to be suffer and the family could start a fresh. But it left Da Ran has to deal with her feelings. Oh, this is difficult.

Big episode 13 started with the kiss, Da Ran and Gyeong Joon. After the kiss, Da Ran looked stressful. “I told you not to do it, but you kept doing it. It’s making me having an affair,” she said. “Having an affair it be.” (More or less something like that). Gyeong Joon looked happy.

Se Yeong saw the initial KKJ on Gyeong Joon’s birthday cake on the nurse’s table in the hospital. Before she remembered about the watch, she saw Yoon Jae’s father and went after him. Ma Ri, who who was looking for Se Yeong, saw her talking with a man, but from behind. She followed him and finally called him. When he turned, she found out it’s the same person as Yoon Jae’s father. “Aren’t you Seo Yoon Jae’s father? Are you Gyeong Joon’s father?”

Gyeong Joon hated the way Da Ran celebrated his birthday like a little kid having the waiters and waitresses sang Happy Birthday Song for him. They’re having dinner in a restaurant together. Gyeong Joon kept teasing her about “having an affair thing.”

Then back to the hospital corridor. Ma Ri was still confronting Mr.Seo. “You’re Gyeong Joon’s father, am I correct?” asked Ma Ri. “Then it means Gyeng Joon and Yoon Jae are brothers.” Mr.Seo refused to tell her much.  “Ajeossi is a bad person.”

In the restaurant again, Gyeong Joon kept teasing Da Ran about the kiss and the affair. Then they’re talking about how it’ll be when they’re in the future. Will they meet again and how’s Da Ran gonna see him that time. Then he’s talking about world cup 2030 (if i heard it correctly) when they’re going to meet again.

Going back home, Gyeong Joon asked if Da Ran had any birthday present for him. Da Ran showed him the watch. Then he asked her to put it on to him to symbolize that Da Ran was really holding on to his hand. Da Ran didn’t do it. And then Gyeong Joon told her to stare at the time in the watch. It’s 10.10. He hypnotized Da Ran: “At this exact time. Everyday at 10.10 Gil Da Ran would think of KKJ.”And Da Ran was really hypnotized. She was startled right away when Gyeong Joon was making the 10.10 gesture before going to convenient store to buy some tooth brush.

Ma Ri was upset seeing it. She went to the convenient store to talk to him, but since Gyeong Joon was in a good mood, Ma Ri refrained. She didn’t want to ruin his mood. But as soon as Gyeong Joon left, she spoke out her evil plan, “If Gil Da Ran found out who your father is, you and her won’t be smiling.”

Ready for bed, Da Ran was still “under-the-10.10-spell.” She couldn’t stop smiling and even had the childish dream saying thanks to Gyeong Joon when she’s on the moon and under the see and even made the 10.10 gesture.

In the morning, she saw so many vitamin drinks in the fridge with Gyeong Joon and Ma Ri’s picture on them. Gyeong Joon said they’re Ma Ri’s  birthday present.

Da Ran really thought of Gyeong Joon at 10.10 in the morning. Choong Shik just realized the wedding ring had gone. Ma Ri insisted on finding it, so the three of them looked for it together in the spot where Da Ran lost it during the school break time. But they couldn’t find it.

After Choong Shik left, Ma Ri told Da Ran, “I met Gyeong Joon’s father yesterday. It’s really him.” She suggested Da Ran to go to the hospital to see him by herself. “Are you thinking of keep staying at Gyeong Joon’s side after he woke up?” asked Ma Ri.

Gyeong Joon met the little boy and asked for the rabbit girl. She’s hurt, so they both visited her. Ji Mi was bleeding and Gyeong Joon was so nervous. And the girl’s mother asked him to take her hand. But Gyeong Joon went away. Then he saw his reflection on the glass door. He saw Seo Yoon Jae and imagined how Yoon Jae played with the girl. He went back to the girl’s room and held her hand, nervous. But he did it well. Gyeong Joon made a promise that three of them(together with the two kids) would always do well together.

Da Ran was still struggling about the wedding ring. She even imagined herself being interrogated by her senior teacher. She’s crazily hipnotised by the 10.10.Da Ran even thought of him anywhere anytime. The vitamin drink she bought from the vending machine, when seeing someone tightening his shoelace, in the deaprtment store, then she saw everyone on the street was making the 10.10 gesture. Then showed up the “real” Gyeong Joon. He found out that Da Ran was really hipnotised by his 10.10. “I’m surely have to find my wedding ring.”

They went to the spot where they kissed but Choong Shik was already there looking for the ring. Choong Shik hid behind the tree and heard Da Ran was talking about having an affair with someone called KKJ and she and her husband were arguing about the wedding ring. gyeong Joon asked why she needed to find it. Da Ran said she needed the ring to ask for forgiveness for her having an affair. Choong Shik got the words: affair, apologize, and the wedding ring lost, got the alert alarm in his head. He went back home and reported the situation to his parents. He did it like in sageuk drama, when a soldier was reporting to the king about an urgent situation.

Mr.Gil made a report to the police about his daughter doing something really wrong. When Da Ran and Gyeong Joon was still looking for the ring, Da Ran was approached by his father and the police man. She’s taken away with the police car. Gyeong Joon couldn’t do anything about it.

Mr.Gil put her in jail. Gyeong Joon came. Mr.Gil apologized to Gyeong Joon for Da Ran’s wrong doing. Instead of upset, Gyeong Joon said that she did it because of him. So both of them were put behind the bars together.

Gyeong Joon asked her if she could sleep there. Da Ran said she could, no matter how bad the place is. Gyeong Joon said that the place was good enough for her to be able to sleep. They’re holding hands. Then Da Ran slept on his shoulder and Gyeong Joon really enjoyed it.He couldn’t stop smiling.

Ma Ri found the same ring and planned to give it to her.Ma Ri was upset because Da Ran had broken her promise to only like Seo Yoon Jae and to never fall for Gyeong Joon.

Released from the police, Gyeong Joon asked if she’s really gonna reach for his hand. Da Ran said yes. But Gyeong Joon said she still didn’t do anything real and a teenager usually go away. Then he asked her to put on the watch, for him not to runaway. Da Ran put it on for him. Then Gyeong Joon made the 10.10 gesture and Da Ran hugged him. They hugged and Gyeong Joon just couldn’t stop smiling. MA Ri cried alone watching the scene from behind the fence.

Mr.Seo insisting on waiting for Gyeong Joon to wake up. Mrs.Seo insisted on putting Yoon Jae’s first and straightly do the surgery to take what they needed from Gyeong Joon.

Ma Ri told Da Ran to visit the restaurant to meet Gyeong Joon’s uncle and the father. Ma Ri asked the uncle to let Da Ran and Gyeong Joon’s father meet each other.

Yoon Jae’s mother asked Se Yeong to do the surgery to Gyeong Joon to take what they needed from him, in order to save Yoon Jae’s life. At another place in the hospital, Gyeong Joon met the senior doctor  who explained to him that he’s sick. So Yoon Jae was really sick and had to undergo a surgery soon. He was rushed to go somewhere, but Ma Ri came and told him that Da Ran was meeting the uncle to meet his father.

Back to Gyeong Joon’s room, Se Yeong was forced to inject something to Gyeong Joon by Mrs. Seo. Then suddenly Gyeong Joon experienced the attack again and his body in the room was suddenly had a shock. Se Yeong stopped doing the injection. Gyeong Joon saw Se Yeong and Yoon Jae’s mother in his room. And as soon as he was back to Yoon Jae’s body in the corridor, Gyeong Joon rushed to the room. “I can’t do it,” said Se Yeong. Then Gyeong Joon heard what his mother and Se Yeong’s mother were talking about. “This kid would help Yoon Jae survive,” said Mrs. Seo.

Se Yeong was about to go out when she found Gyeong Joon was there. “What are you talking about that Gyeong Joon and Yoon Jae were brothers?” demanded Gyeong Joon. Yoon Jae’s mother finally confessed. “What had you done with the kid?” asked Gyeong Joon before Se Yeong excused herself. Se Yeong said it’s something his mother requested, but she couldn’t do it. After Se Yeong left, Mrs.Seo told his son everything. “For me you’re the first, Yoon Jae. I don’t care about the kid. As long as you live, I don’t care about him.”  Then she told him everything about the purpose of Gyeong Joon’s “creation” and birth. Gyeong Joon left, and was so heart breaking knowing what the purpose of his existence.

Meawhile Da Ran finally met Gyeong Joon’s uncle and her own father in law. Mr.Seo was introduced as Gyeong Joon’s father.

In the corridor with Ma Ri, Gyeong Joon shared his troubled mind. Ma Ri heard the his conversation with his mother. “The mother I knew was not my mother. Seo Yoon Jae and me have the same parents. Now I understand why this all happen, the exchange.” Then Ma Ri said, “When you’re back, let’s just go to US with me.” Gyeong Joon said, “No, i’m not going. Because I have Da Ran by side.” Upset with Gyeong Joon’s answer, Ma Ri was telling a lie saying that Da Ran had known from the beginning and now was meeting his father. She told him that Da Ran was on Yoon Jae’s side and wanted him to come back instead of staying by his side like this.

Da Ran was talking to her father in law in his hotel room. They’re discussing about the angels picture. Mr.Seo told her about the surgery urgency and there’s not much time left.

Gyeong Joon rushed to see if Da Ran really met his parents, but when he got there Da Ran already left for home.

Da Ran looked down when she arrived home. Ma Ri was still there. “What happened, did you meet him?” asked Ma Ri flatly. “So you know?” asked Da Ran. “Gyeong Joon also knew. he suffered because of you. You’ve promised but this is how it results.” She gave Da Ran the ring and told her to just keep her promise. Ma Ri continued, “If you keep this situation, both of them are going to die. I can lie to Gyeong Joon, so can you. Please, let Gyeong Joon wake up.”

Gyeong Joon came home and saw the Miracle story book. “Do you really know everything?” he asked Da Ran.
“Yes,” said Da Ran. “But why you still do this? You’re worrying about me, right? I’m afraid.” He touched Da Ran’s hand and Da Ran didn’t let him do it. Gyeong Joon saw the ring was already on Da Ran’s finger.

“I can’t take this hand. Yoon Jae is the first. Yoon Jae’s hand is the hand i’m going to catch. Gyeong Joon, let Yoon Jae live and you come back too.”

Oohhh the look in Gyeong Joon’s teary eyes were so heartbreaking.

It’s a heart breaking situation for Gyeong Joon, true. He’s having a hard time that day. After knowing the ugly truth about the purpose of his “creation” and the cruel biological mother, later on he had to face Da Ran’s sudden rejection. But I think that’s the reality for him to face. Sooner or later he had to wake up. He had to face his cruel family and if he wanted to use his rights to refuse donating his part to Yoon Jae, then do it as Gyeong Joon.

In the preview we’ll see how Gyeong Joon was so depress about his life. He started to drink a lot and told Da Ran that he would do whatever with Yoon Jae’s body.

Gyeong Joon and Da Ran kept on arguing. Da Ran refused to go with him. And Gyeong Joon didn’t pulled her anymore, instead just said, “If you miss Kang Gyeong Joon, just throw away the ring.” Da Ran kind of making everything seems to be complicated for Gyeong Joon. As a man he might not understand Da Ran’s dilemma, and throwing the wedding ring was not as easy as it’s told.

Yoon Jae’s mother told Yoon Jae’s father that Yoon Jae and Gyeong Joon were involved in the same incident. She also told him that Yoon Jae was helping Gyeong Joon to find his father. Mr.Seo was so surprised about it. Yoon Jae’s mother was the opposite. She said she would prevent Yoon Jae to know the truth.

Da Ran still looked down and it was Gyeong Joon who reminded her to be strong. He kept trying to prevent Da Ran from putting off her wedding ring. He actually didn’t understand what Da Ran had in her mind that it felt troubled her so much. “Tell me why are you being like this. Which one is harder for you actually, waiting for Seo Yoon Jae or facing his mother and his father?” asked Gyeong Joon. Da Ran’s quick answer startled him. “You are the one that makes me tired, Kang Gyeong Joon.”

Then Da Ran started cleaning up all stuffs she shared memories with Gyeong Joon: the sunflowers, the Chinese traveling book, panda bears and even the 20 years old ginseng juice.

Watching what Da Ran was doing, Gyeong Joon wanted to do the same, but he had no stuffs that he shared memories with Da Ran. It upset him and he was more upset when seeing Da Ran threw away the stuffs to the trash bin. Too bad Gyeong Joon left in a rush because not long after that Da Ran was back outside to check on the trash she just dumped and ended up bringing them back in again. Da Ran looked sad seeing the empty trash bag. She just wishpered something into it and then wrapped it tightly and threw it away.

Mr.Seo went into the restaurant which Gyeong Joon’s uncle and aunty was running. He saw Ms.Kang’s article on the entrance and made a smile.

Meanwhile Yoon Jae’s mother was meeting Se Yeong. She asked Se Yeong if there’s someone else between Da Ran and Yoon Jae. She thought so because she wondered why Da Ran said what she said the last time they met and also cried. Se Yeong also told her that Da Ran was looking for her, too. Yoon Jae’s mother said even though she’s already married to Yoon Jae, she just still dislike her.

Da Ran was packing and ready to go camping with her family. Da Ran prevented him from coming along and the upset Gyeong Joon just did what she told. He thought Da Ran was really dumping him out of her life, so he refused when Gil family asked him to come along. Da Ran told her parents that they’re fighting and prevented them from calling him. But both parents and Choong Shik were sending Gyeong Joon’s text to ask him to come camping with them.

At home, Gyeong Joon was cleaning up Da Ran’s things since he didn’t have the memorable stuff. He’s cleaning her mug, her spoon and chopstick, tooth brush…until he went into Da Ran’s room and found that the trash wasn’t thrown away. So he put everything back to its place and took the insisting texts from Gil family as an excuse for not refusing them anymore. Gyeong Joon decided to go camping too.

Apparently, the family left and let the two enjoy the camping together. Gyeong Joon’s presence was a big surprise for Da Ran, but she had no choice and Gyeong Joon was no way leaving. He saw the rock Da Ran said as the representative of him. He just indifferently threw it away.

Having nothing to eat, Gyeong Joon brought Da Ran to the park. Da Ran was planning to take the picture alone, but Gyeong Joon always annoyed her, blocked her picture, but the point was he’s there in the frame. In the water fountain, Gyeong Joon played the water with Da Ran. He even lifted her and carried her around. Da Ran begged him to put her down, but the way she called him “oorabonim” (the joseon language of modern word “oppa”) made Gyeong Joon played with her more.

In the convinient store, Da Ran told the lady that Gyeong Joon was her brother. Then she met some seniors and that made Gyeong Joon jealous. However, on their way back to their camping area, a girl asked Gyeong Joon to give her and her friends a help with the tent. Gyeong Joon gladly helped them. It’s Da Ran’s turn to get jealous.

Back in the city, in Ms.Kang’s restaurant, Mr.Seo finally introduced himself to Gyeong Joon’s uncle.

Then back to Yoon Jae’s mother’s place, Mr.Seo reminded her that Gyeong Joon’s birthday was coming up. She kept on her opinion that she didn’t care about Gyeong Joon’s birthday.

Gyeong Joon upset Da Ran by saying that he’s meeting the girls (whom he helped earlier) that night, while Da Ran also upset Gyeong Joon by saying that she’s  meeting her seniors. Da Ran left. Gyeong Joon was so upset, but seeing “Gyeong Joon” rock was back on the table (meant Da Ran picked it up again) his upset faded away. Worrying Da Ran, he was looking for her bringing a lamp. Meanwhile Da Ran was already on her way when suddenly she thought of Gyeong Joon who’s left alone. She worried about Gyeong Joon and went hurriedly back. They met on the way.

“Aren’t you going to meet the girls?” asked Da Ran. She said she’s gonna make a quick go and then come back. “If you’re going to go back quickly, so i’m going to wait for you,” said Gyeong Joon.

Gyeong Joon was joyfully waiting for Da Ran on the bridge. Meanwhile his parents were on their way to his room in the hospital. Gyeong Joon suddenly got the “attack” again. In the hospital, his body was moving. He could even see his parents coming. When Da Ran came back, Gyeong Joon’s condition was weak even though he managed to sit. He told her that the quick exchange happened again and strangely he saw Seo Yoon Jae’s parents came to visit him. He didn’t know if it was just a dream or for real. Then he rest his tired body on Da Ran’s shoulder.

Gyeong Joon woke up already in the tent. Da Ran slept not far from him. He put on a blanket on her and lied right behind Da Ran’s back. He started to express what in his mind to the sleeping Da Ran. He said that it actually felt good to be in this situation. He could have parents and also Da Ran. He thanked Seo Yoon Jae to keep him alive. He didn’t know whether or not he would remember everything after he came back to his body. “Would you remember me like this? Even though you’re happy when Seo Yoon Jae is back, would you please live remembering me?” Gyeong Joon dropped a tear. And apparently Da Ran already woke up and she was crying in silence too.

Ma Ri got a news that Gyeong Joon’s father came to give a visit to the restaurant. She rushed to tell Gyeong Joon. She’s going to see his father in the hospital with the help of his uncle description. Gyeong Joon was on his way to the lobby where Ma Ri was,but suddenly was stopped by Se Yeong. She asked if Da Ran told him about their last meeting. Gyeong Joon just responded her coldly like always. He was almost in the lobby. Mr.Seo finally showed up there and Ma Ri was so close from greeting him. Suddenly Gyeong Joon attacked by a bad headache that he even dropped to the floor.

Mr.Seo rushed to help his son and Ma Ri did too. Mr.Seo asked his friend to take care of Yoon Jae. And then he told Yoon Jae not to worry about what happened to him. When Mr.Seo was holding his hand, Gyeong Joon felt something strange, a father’s touch that was foreign for him.

in Gyeong joon’s house, Ma Ri asked if he’s fine. Gyeong Joon said he’s not, but nothing he could do. Then Ma Ri got a rest on the second floor room she had for herself. She got a bad dream that Gyeong Joon already woke up and then suddenly disappear. She was calling for Gyeong Joon and he rushed to her. “I’m okay with your condition now. I’m okay you’re not coming back. But please don’t go away.” Gyeong Joon pat her head gently.

Da Ran remembered Gyeong Joon’s birthday and prepared some groceries. Unfortunately, Gyeong Joon found out that Da Ran was planning to stayed at different place, away from him. So it upset him bad. Da Ran said they should eat dinner together tomorrow on his birthday. She also asked if he wanted anything for his birthday present. The upset Gyeong Joon just replied her indifferently. He left, but then quickly come back, asking, “What am I doing so wrong that you keep wanting to run away from me?” Da Ran tried to explain to him.

On the birthday date, Ma Ri was celebrating in the hospital. Meanwhile Da Ran was buying a birthday present for Gyeong Joon, a watch. The store could engrave his initial in the watch and Da Ran wrote it down for them: KKJ. Se Yeong was shopping with her friend when she saw her there. She peeked on the initial and found it was not SYJ. In a cafe, Se Yeong saw Da Ran again. Da Ran was putting off her wedding ring, putting it into a glass and shook it.

Se Yeong told Gyeong Joon everything she saw. “I’m telling you this because I still like you. I saw Da Ran was buying a present for someone else other than you,” said Se Yeong. Gyeong Joon’s face was change. It’s a good news for him. “Da Ran even took off her wedding ring when I saw her later in the cafe. I don’t know the man Da Ran was going to meet, but the initial was KKJ.” A smile clearly showed up on Gyeong joon’s face. “Are you sure about it?” asked him. “Yes, I’m very sure about it.” Gyeong Joon was so happy.

Da Ran was waiting for him in the park. When he approached her, Gyeong Joon asked, “I heard you are seeing another man? And his initial is KKJ.” Da Ran got nervous again and tried to put on her wedding ring again quickly. But Gyeong Joon locked her fingers with his. Da Ran struggled at first, but Gyeong Joon was slowly leaning towards her.

Da Ran stopped struggling to release her hand. She let Gyeong Joon kissed her and the ring even dropped to the ground. She didn’t care. They just kissed.

Hoho, the story is really getting complicated with the kiss. Da Ran is totally wavering. And Gyeong Joon also give up making a distance and reminding Da Ran that she’s waiting for Yoon Jae. But with Da Ran putting off her ring, for Gyeong Joon it’s a sign that she really falls for him. Oh now the ending is getting more blurred. I really cannot guess what would happen if Yoon Jae is back.

BIG episode 11 reveals one big truth for Da Ran. While Gyeong Joon maintains his independence of feelings to avoid any complication, Da Ran is in the opposite way.

So that night in the park, Gyeong Joon came to Da Ran in the park to talk to her. He told her to stop acting that otherwise he wouldn’t care for her anymore. He’s tying Da ran’s shoe lace, telling her to live well and be strong during her wait for Yoon Jae’s to come back and stop worrying him.

When they’re already back in the house, Gyeong Joon was still trying to convince her that he’s gonna live well without her in the future after he’s back to his body. He told her that he’s going to look for his father.

Ma Ri and Choong Shik were  investigating Prof.Park. They secretly took pictures of him while he’s actually meeting Yoon Jae’s father.

After meeting Prof.Park, Yoon Jae’s father came to visit Yoon Jae’s mother. He said he’s going to look for Gyeong Joon. Yoon jae’s mother coldly said she didn’t care because for her Gyeong joon was not her son, but that woman’s son (Gyeong Joon’s mother). Mr.Seo reminded her that even though the woman was the one who carried the son in her womb and delivered him into the world, the “seed” was purely him and Yoon Jae’s mother. But that lady insisted that Gyeong Joon was not her son.

Gyeong Joon and Da Ran were meeting Yoon Jae’s parents. They’re going out for having lunch together, but her mother was taking something back in her room, so they went back upstairs to their room. Gyeong Joon saw the Prof.Park’s exhibition booklet on the table and his father said he’s a family friend. And there Gyeong Joon almost saw his mother’s picture (Ms. Kang) slipped out of his father’s journal. But strangely, when he picked it up for his father, he didn’t turn it upward so that he could see the picture. Instead he just put it all together with the booklet and the journal.

While they’re finally having a meal, Yoon Jae’s mother nagged Da Ran about her appearance. She told Da Ran to go shopping together and should have a (credit) card for herself to buy her things. Da Ran said she didn’t need it, but Yoon Jae’s mother it’s for Yoon Jae’s sake too. Gyeong Joon argued Da Ran, “It’s not ‘sorry’ that you should say. Just say ‘thank you,’ it’s something you deserve.” Then he asked Yoon Jae’s mother to just give her the card and let her do the shopping.

Then Gyeong Joon brought Da Ran to the showroom, planning on buying her a car. Da Ran refused saying she didn’t need any car and couldn’t even drive. Then they’re grand shopping continued to department store where he bought many clothes for Da Ran. They had the must-have-scene-in-Kdrama here. You know the scene when the girl tries on many clothes with the boy joyfully decides whether it’s good for her or not. And for Gyeong Joon, every time Da Ran showed up with a dress, he always casually said “Not bad, buy it” (means everything looks good on her!) except for one sexy red dress “It’s bad, but buy it.”

Da Ran looked so down that night. She even had a beer with her. Gyeong Joon tried to cheer her up by pretending to be Yoon Jae for awhile. Da Ran asked him to stop because it wouldn’t work. But the good thing was this version of Yoon Jae could do the aegyeo “pooing-pooing”. Not yet really worked to make Da Ran cheer up, he sat himself on the table and took the frying pan and made it as a guitar. He’s singing pororo song. Gong Yoo was cutely singing the whole Pororo song! And it did work. Da Ran’s laugh was finally out. He asked Da Ran to sing, too but she just took the pan to cover her face and then fled to her room.

Da Ran was still struggling with her wavering heart. She kept reminding her mind that she’s still waiting for Yoon Jae to come back. Then the comical naive Da Ran was back. She thought the best thing for her to do while waiting for Yoon Jae was sewing, just like in the old times (in Joseon era) that a woman usually sew while waiting for her husband. Her imagination projected her in Joseon era, sewing in her room. Meanwhile outside, Gyeong Joon’s shadow told her that another man was trying to make her heart waver by playing a fluit. (pororo song in the background).

The next day Ma Ri reported her investigation results, the pictures, to Gyeong Joon. He found Yoon Jae’s father in the picture, but it was not a new information again for him that the men knew each other. Ma Ri asked if he would go back to US after he’s back to his body. Gyeong Joon said once everything was back to where it is, he’s going back US to start his solo life there. Then he went to meet the lawyer to check on his inheritance matter.

Gyeong joon treated Da Ran the peking duck to ask her a help to go to Prof. Park gallery with him. But seeing Da Ran had no idea the proper way to eat the duck, he wrapped up the duck feed Da Ran. It made Da Ran became awkward again. It got worsen as Gyeong Joon fanned her and she became more mesmerized. She asked to just go home quickly.

At home, to get rid of Gyeong Joon from her mind, this time she preoccupided herself with ironing the blanket. The Joseon woman imagination showed up again and this time Gyeong Joon’s shadow was fanning her too. Pororo song in the background again. Then Gyeong Joon came to her and asked her why she avoided to see his face. Da Ran spoke with him in  Joseon way of speaking, making Gyeong Joon wonder what’s wrong with her. But Da Ran just told him to go and that kind of upset Gyeong joon, though he left. But then DA Ran screamed, so Gyeong Joon rushed back. Da Ran got an accident with the iron, so Gyeong Joon rushed her to the shower and treated her wound. “Does it hurt?” aske Gyeong Joon. “Yes, it does,” said Da ran. “Can I continue doing this?” asked Gyeong Joon again. “Yes, you can.” I’m not sure if they’re really talking about the wound in Da Ran’s leg or more something with their heart.

Ma Ri was buying a dress in Da Ran’s style. Choong Shik was confused. He thought Ma Ri liked Yoon Jae, but she kept talking about Gyeong Joon. Then suddenly Ma Ri suddenly got a call, saying that someone was looking for Gyeong Joon.

Gyeong Joon and da Ran went to the gallery together. While waiting to meet Prof.Park, they looked around and Da Ran saw the bouqet of flowers and said she would love to have some sun flowers. Then Yoon Jae’s mother suddenly called her asking if she had time that afternoon for their shopping plan. Da Ran told her that she’s with Yoon Jae to meet Prof. Park. Yoon Jae’s mother suddenly became nervous and told Da Ran to tell Yoon Jae not to meet Prof. Park, but Gyeong Joon just cut the line.

They were finally meeting Prof. Park. He noticed that Yoon Jae really forgot so many things. Gyeong Joon was about to ask him about the angels’ image he had, when Yoon Jae’s mother came and prevent him to ask Prof. Park any further. She asked why he’s meeting Prof. Park. Gyeong Joon said that he felt responsible to Gyeong Joon so he’s going to help him look for his father and Prof. Park knew him. He asked his mother if she knew Ms.Kang (Gyeong Joon’s mother), his mother said no.

Then Ma Ri came and insisted on speaking with him immediately. She told him that Prof. Park was not his father and his real father was looking for him.

While waiting for Gyeong Joon, Da Ran had a conversation with Prof. Park. She told Da Ran that on that day of the accident, Gyeong Joon was supposed to meet him for something urgent. But the accident happened. So he was so thankful that the two finally could get married. So Da Ran got a clue that the reason why Yoon Jae wanted to leave in rush that day was not because of Se Yeong.

Da Ran rushed to see Se Yeong. Meanwhile Gyeong Joon got the sunflowers from the bouquet and at home he planned to give them to Da Ran as a surprise. He arranged many ways to give them to her and looked very excited about it.

Da Ran sat together with Se Yeong. The reason why Yoon Jae was leaving that day was not Se Yeong and she asked Se Yeong for a confirmation. She fianlly told Da Ran that Yoon Jae never came to her place even once. Da Ran memorized her times with Yoon Jae until the day of the accident. All this time Yoon jae did really love her and so it made her feel bad. She had misunderstood and worst of all (from her point of few), she wavered.

Back at home, Da Ran saw the sunflower, but just stared at them and became teary. Gyeong Joon asked what’s wrong. “Yoon Jae never cheated with Se Yeong,” she said. “He truly loved me.” Gyeong Joon’s sincere smile faded but he quickly put on the staged smile. “You did good. Congrats then!” But Da Ran burst on tears. “Do you like it that much?” asked Gyeong Joon confused. Da Ran just cried.

In the hospital, the care taker told Gyeong Joon that someone came to visit his body. This time’s a man. He quickly on the way there. His father finally found him. But when Gyeong Joon came it was too late. The man had left. He  was following him, but wen Ma Ri and Choong Shik came he just stopped. Choong Shik asked Gyeong Joon if his mother had made Da Ran afraid in some way. He said his sister received a phonecall from his mother with a so much worry face.

Yoon Jae’s mother was sharing to Da Ran a precious family jewelry. Da Ran couldn’t lift her face to her mother in-law. She said, “I cannot accept this jewelry. “I don’t have the confident to be with him. I’m a very bad person.” Then Yoon Jae’s mother told her that she’s been trying to be nice since Da Ran was then married to her son. Then she said if Da Ran thought so she should just let Yoon Jae go.

Da Ran was on her way out with face full of streaming tears. Gyeong Joon came and dragged her back to his mother to confront her for making Da Ran cry. Da Ran struggled asking Gyeong Joon to let her go, but Gyeong Joon held her hand tightly and kept dragging her to his mother’s room. “I will do what Seo Yoon Jae cannot. If you keep acting like a fool crying like this and sewing, I will leave you.”

And in the preview we saw that Da Ran terribly lost her confidence. She looked like she’s gonna give up the marriage. And then Gyeong Joon’s body finally made some moves. And he was about to open his eyes.

Though this drama seems to be quite light in the story line, but for me the ending is still unpredictable. I cannot figure out with whom Da Ran would have a happy ending with.

They eventually watched the horror movie. Da Ran was worrying Gyeong Joon for any blood-shed scene in the movie. Gyeong Joon looked at her and asked in flat expression, “Gil Teacher, do you like me?” All of a sudden, Da Ran was back into panic situation. But Gyeong Joon dealt with Da Ran’s confession very cool.  Gyeong Joon saw the wedding ring on Da Ran’s finger. He told her that however she liked him, he wouldn’t think of it as a serious thing. He called her as being “coquette”, like a man’s bug. It’s a kind of expression to say that the woman is too girlishly flirtatious to get man’s attention, but the man looked very dislikes it. “Just don’t do it to me,” said Gyeong Joon.

Se Yeong was meeting Yoon Jae’s mother. Yoon Jae’s mother asked Se yeong for a favor, that was to tell her if Gyeong Joon gained his consciousness. Se Yeong was getting more curious about the possibility that Gyeong Joon might be Yoon Jae’s brother. She asked a friend to have a lab to run a DNA test.

Gyeong Joon asked Da Ran if she knew someone that Yoon Jae’s mother said about a person he’s supposed to be meeting long a go. Da Ran had no idea about it. They’re having dinner in Gyeong Joon’s uncle restaurant. Gyeong Joon’s uncle approached them and his curiosity on this doctor who’s strangely had so many relationship with Gyeong Joon as someone who’s sent by Gyeong Joon’s father. “Do you know Gyeong Joon’s father?” asked Gyeong Joon. The uncle told him that the father was a teacher and a man with a family.
Da Ran asked if he’s gonna look for his father, Gyeong Joon said he had no intention to do so.

On their way home, Da Ran was looking at the angels drawing in his wallet. She asked if it’s drawn by his father. Gyeong Joon said yes. Even though he never met his dad, that picture was from him. “Where have I seen this drawing before?” Da Ran felt familiar with the image. But she couldn’t recall her memory.

They went buying a present pretended to be presents from China. They bought some chains that’s written “made in China” and some small white bear dolls. Gyeong Joon said they could turn them into panda. They argued about panda’s black and white color’s position. “Panda’s belly is white,” said Gyeong Joon. “White belly is penguin. Panda has black belly color,” argued Da Ran. Then they made a competition of drawing a panda bear. After they gave the black mark on the white bear, they checked on the internet to confirm panda’s color pattern and Da Ran definitely lost the game. Dhe had to do massage Gyeong Joon and bear the whole night teasing from him too. They were having fun with the pandas and presents.

Early in the morning before school, Ma Ri and Choong Shik went to Gyeong Joon’s house and saw Gyeong Joon and Da Ran were fighting. Da Ran asked Gyeong Joon to eat the beans as well. “I’ve told you several times that I don’t like beans,” protested Gyeong Joon. “I don’t want to know. You must eat them all,” Da Ran was being an “educator” there. Ma Ri was happy seeing them fighting, but as soon as she saw Gyeong Joon ate all the beans (he ate them like eating pills– helped by water), Ma Ri was disappointed. She knew Gyeong Joon wouldn’t ever do it for someone else unless he had special feelings to her.

At school, Ma Ri approached Da Ran. She wanted to make sure if Da Ran was still hoping that Yoon Jae would wake up soon. “Teacher, you don’t like being with Gyeong Joon, do you? You want Yoon Jae to come back, don’t you?” Da Ran just told her of course she wanted Yoon Jae to wake up.

When Da Ran arrived home, Gyeong Joon was staring at the angels drawing.”You really never think of looking for him? You don’t want to meet him even once?” asked Da Ran. “I’ve thought about that, but I don’t care about it anymore,” said Gyeong Joon casually.

The DNA result was out. Se Yeong got the confusing evidence in her hands. “Yoon Jae’s mother is Kang Gyeong Joon biological mother.”

In the newlywed house, Gyeong Joon asked Da Ran if she remembered any occasion that coming friday, June 24. Da Ran couldn’t remember any special occasion. Gyeong Joon was upset that Da Ran didn’t remember his birthday. Then she said she remember about a book where Yoon Jae was in it. She made Gyeong Joon read it. The article told about Yoon Jae’s feeling related to his job and his compassion. But Gyeong Joon was still disappointed that Da Ran really didn’t remember his birthday. Eventually after Gyeong Joon left, Da Ran remembered that the particular date was Gyeong Joon’s birthday.

Se Yeong was trying to figure out Gyeong Joon’s relation with Yoon Jae’s mother. Yoon Jae’s mother was that kid’s real mother, but Gyeong Joon was raised by another mother…

MA Ri heard about the possibility to search for Gyeong Joon’s father. She suggested Da Ran to help him finding his father. “You’re not going to be by his side forever, that’s why finding his father would be important, “said Ma Ri. She really determined to do it and even talked seriously to Gyeong Joon about it.

Da Ran tried to convince herself that she’s not gonna be in Gyeong Joon’s future, so she needed to help him finding his father. Da Ran was having a conflict in her mind. She kept thinking about Gyeong Joon’s future..sort of, because she’d been thinking what to get for his birthday present that would be useful for his future. Then she remembered how she had waited for Yoon Jae in a park with a bike. She was so bored that she drew a heart on the bench, but Yoon Jae never showed up.

The next day, Da Ran was moping the floor and then Gyeong Joon take it over, worrying that Da Ran would see him as a burden. But for Da Ran, having Gyeong Joon acting very independent made her thought that Gyeong Joon didn’t need her and wouldn’t need her in the future. To ease her mind, Da Ran went out for a fresh air by riding a bike in the park. She was looking for a mark that she left when she was waiting for Yoon Jae that time. She was determined to find it, to get the feelings of waiting for the person she loved…to make sure that she’s still waiting for Yoon Jae.

Yoon Jae’s father finally arrived in Seoul. Ma Ri came to Gyeong Joon telling him that she found someone who is a friend of Gyeong Joon’s father, a professor. And by the time they’re speaking, Yoon Jae’s father was visiting that professor. that man knew about Yoon Jae’s father’s other son and about the “miracle” angels drawing as well.

After talking to Ma Ri, Gyeong Joon came to the park to look for Da Ran. He called her asking where she’s about. Da Ran felt strange that her heart beat became more exciting and she felt the same way waiting for someone she liked. “I must be crazy,” she murmured to herself, and then hid herself behind a tree. “Where are you?” asked Gyeong Joon when he arrived at Da Ran’s previous spot. “I’m not here. I’m not waiting for you. Don’t look for me. I can’t see you,” said Da Ran. Gyeong Joon actually could see Da Ran’s hiding behind a tree nearby, but he said, “I get it. I won’t see you. I’m leaving.” Da Ran needed time to calm herself and made up her mind. She really struggled. “Gyeong Joon, you leave, i’m still waiting (for Yoon Jae).”

Professor Park, Yoon Jae’s dad’s friend, was looking at the angel drawing. “One is sSeo Yoon Jae, and another one is the other kid, right?” So the “Miracle” angels drawing’s meaning is more or less about sacrifice and salvation between the two sons, presented as the two angels, and how their lives are entangled by blood and faith.

At home, Gyeong Joon suddenly got the attack again. Ma Ri rushed to the hospital as soon as the care taker called her. Meanwhile Da Ran who was still at the park finally found the bench she left a mark while waiting for Yoon Jae. When she thought she still had the same feeling of waiting for Yoon Jae, Ma Ri called her telling about the situation at the hospital. Instead of thinking about Yoon Jae who was in the hospital, she ran towards home to check on Gyeong Joon. He was lying on the floor. Da Ran shook him. Gyeong Joon slowly and weakly opened his eyes and said, “Gil Teacher, it’s me. I was exchanged, but come back again” Da Ran was relieved. She cried. Gyeong Joon also dropped a tear.

Ma Ri asked how Gyeong Joon’s condition. “Still hurt. If going to exchange why should it be hurt,” complained Gyeong Joon. Then he walked out of his room to check on Da Ran. She was still in her room, crying. “I must be crazy.” Gyeong Joon looked sad, but hoped for Yoon Jae to come back.

Da Ran didn’t go to school the next day, taking a sick leave. Gyeong Joon came to her room. “Are you really hurt? Let’s go to the hospital.” Da Ran was still struggling with her heart. “If you’re really go back, will I still be able to see you?” Gyeong Joon just said he’s leaving to buy her some medicine.

Se Yeong visited Yoon jae’s mother. She asked if she wanted to see Gyeong Joon again, if she also missed him. “Why not? Isn’t he your son too?” she shot the question to Yoon Jae’s mother. The lady finally spoke up. Yoon Jae was 12 years old when he was so sick. The parents initiated another child to support Yoon Jae’s life. I think more or less it’s like Hollywood movie “My Sister’s keeper” where parents bore another child because the first one needed a part of the sibling’s body to support her life. Anyway, so the parents do a surrogate pregnancy to a woman who loved Yoon Jae’s father. When Gyeong Joon was born, apparently they didn’t need him anymore. So they just gave Gyeong Joon away to that woman.

When Gyeong joon was back, Da Ran wasn’t in her room. He looked for her in the park. Da Ran asked if he’s fine. “Now i’m okay, but when i’m back i’ll be hurt again, won’t I?” said Gyeong Joon in his casual way. Then he looked Da Ran in the eyes and said that if he’s back and they couldn’t be together again, Da Ran should just live her life well.

I didn’t really concentrate on the last scene so I think i’m making some errors on the comprehension. But the point is, Gyeong Joon is actually struggling with his heart but his cool mind kind of makes him know his place. Though it doesn’t make him care for Da Ran any less. Poor him with his harsh life and ugly truth of his story…
