On March 9th Deadline revealed that there’s a possibility that the most successful 2010 movie “The Man from Nowhere” or “Ajeossi” (아저씨) will be remade on Hollywood version.

Deadline also mention that  Shawn Christensen (script writer from Abduction) who will be in-charge on this project under Dimension Films. He will adapt the original script for American. On same day, CJ Entertainment who hold the license confirmed that they sold the licensing to Dimension, but they haven’t decided to be involved this remake as co-producer or not, there will be more further information from US.

And i’m curious about who will fill in the Won Bin’s role? It would be hard decision for Dimension. Because i think Won Bin is irreplaceable for this movie. through “The Man From Nowhere” he made a very big hit. Won Bin gained  more popularity on 2010 (until now), his role as Tae Sik-ajeossi was a phenomenon. On this thriller movie that full of actions and blood,  i warn you, in this movie Won Bin was too hot. So, may i have exclusive request??? please keeps Won Bin for Hollywood version!!! i’m begging here…

One of movie site held a poll on December 23rd-29th by asking “If you are a director, who is the actor /actress you’d select to play in your movies on 2011?”
For the actor, with 4891 respondents, the result (as has been I guess) is the one and only my-honey-sweety-ajeossi, Won Bin. He’s getting a great results of 42.3% votes (2123 respondents), beat the others like Kang Dong Won (in second place only get 11.2% votes) and followed by Ha Jeong Woo (7%),  Song Sae Byeok (4.4%), and in fifth place Cha Tae Hyeon (4, 4%).
And the result is more pleasing to me for the actress. Out of 3536 respondents, Ha Ji Won beat other actresses by acquiring 38% votes (1342 respondents). Second place is Go Hyeon Jeong (14.3%), followed by Lee Min Jung (12.2%), and on fourth place is Choi Kang Hee (8.5%).
During 2010, these two actor/actress are successful in attracting public attention in Korea (and other countries) with their appearance in their projects. Won Bin has been a cool and sexy ajeossi in his recent movie, “Ajeossi” (The Man From Nowhere). And Ha Ji Won is currently famous as Gil Ra Im, a sexy stuntwoman, in her latest drama “Secret Garden”.
I hope there is a further follow up of this poll, like putting them in one production maybe? Can anyone think of making them as a couple in any drama or movie in 2011?? please…I’m begging..

Year 2010 does belong to Won Bin! Through “The Man From Nowhere” he got a lot of awards. The latest one was from the 8th South Korean Movie Award (November 18th) where he received an award as the best actor. Won Bin knew exactly what to do in his career. His popularity never dimmed, though he rarely appeared on the small screen.

However, to be honest actually I really miss watching him on small the screen.

On Oct. 7, The Pusan International Film Festival was officially started by holding a star-showered opening ceremony.
The PIFF will be held from 7 until 15 October.

Many celebrities attended the event, but my attention was caught mostly by Won Bin.
Yups .. my “Ajeossi” attended the event.
He looked handsome, law of nature indeed  , but seemed to have lost lots of weight?
Well, I guess It’s not surprising since he’s been busy promoting “The Man From Nowhere”.

He even attended this event with his co-star in that movie, Kim Sae Ron.
Ough…this kid makes me jealous..

For some reason, every day Won Bin is seen fresher and younger, whereas in these photos he just wore a simple white shirt. I love his face when he wears glasses, he look like a cute geek…

I hate Won Bin’s outfit when he attended “The Man From Nowhere” press confrence, held yesterday (July 8 2010) at Seoul Apgujeong-dong CGV. However, I like that he’s back to this haircut. Won Bin didn’t smile alot during the confrence, maybe they wanted to start building Tae Shik’s expresionless image on him as early as they could. Won Bin did really fit it (despite his funny sweater, of course).

The actors, including Won Bin as the leading, had to do many high risk actions. The idea of “one shoot only” wire action in this movie was so dare devil in my opinion. Because if one actor had slipped, he could’ve endangered the others. Won Bin himself said that the most dangerous action was battle using knife and sword. One mistake could cost someone’s eyes. So everyone had to everything in a very careful way yet very sharp and precise.

Tae Shik character, as the focus of the story, was a very complex man. Well, just think about it: a man who cut himself off from the outside world, giving no damn for his own family and relative, literally coldhearted, but yet care this little-girl-next-door buddy so much. He even risk his life to save her when the girl is kidnapped. Won Bin faced a great challenge in Tae Shik character. He had to build an expressionless image on the outside,
yet had to be able to show Tae Shik’s deep emotion, especially the care and love he had for the little girl while he’s basically have no heart.

Hmm, i think that’s a very complicated character…really can’t wait to watch this movie.
It’ll be released on August 5th 2010.

For me, he is the sexiest man alive and absolutely many girls agree with me…(Okay Rizz?!) –Rizz: body, yes, face still Jang Dong Gun, hehe— His popularity never declined, although he’s not too often appear on television. His last performance was as long ago as 2002 in the drama “Friends”, but loyal viewers and fans never really lost him. He had starred numbers of movies and always presented impressive performances. In “Mother” (2009) he successfully acted as a retarded person.
Apart from acting, he is also involved in social activities, one of them is as a UNICEF’s ambassador. There’s not much I can say about it, because I’m absolutely fascinated by him…His latest movie is “A Man From Nowhere” and I will definitely watch him in this action movie (and drooling)
