Woo Yeong – Korean Drama Choa https://kdramachoa.com Liking Korean Drama, Music, and Movie Tue, 08 Feb 2011 16:37:34 +0000 en-US hourly 1 “Waiting” (“기다리다”) as song for Pil Sook (IU) & Jason (Woo Yeong) https://kdramachoa.com/waiting-%ea%b8%b0%eb%8b%a4%eb%a6%ac%eb%8b%a4-as-song-for-pil-sook-iu-jason-woo-yeong/ https://kdramachoa.com/waiting-%ea%b8%b0%eb%8b%a4%eb%a6%ac%eb%8b%a4-as-song-for-pil-sook-iu-jason-woo-yeong/#respond Tue, 08 Feb 2011 16:37:33 +0000 http://kdramachoa.com/?p=6448 In “Dream High” Episode 10, Jason (Woo Yeong) just couldn’t hold his feelings to Pil Sook (IU) anymore. It was very obvious. When Jason was in Japan he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He searched the internet of what kind of sickness might happened to her. He bugged Sam Dong asking what actually happened to her being hospitalized. He also asked Hye Mi how was Pil Sook doing after seeing Hye Mi called that girl. He even flew right back to Seoul as soon as the video shooting in Japan finished.

And there he was in front of Pil Sook. She challenged him of why exactly he came down there to the hospital, whether it’s just because of his good manner to see a sick friend. Disappointingly, Jason only said he came to hear her sing and because he had nothing else to do after the video shooting (blaah).

So there, Pil Sook, with the mermaid voice of IU…sang this song “Waiting” (“기다리다”). This is actually not a new song, but as soon as this scene was aired, it made a hit again! It was the song Jason was listening in library on the previous episode. It touched people’s heart so very well. Well, IU does sing very beautifully as always and it’s just the perfect song to potray Pil Sook-Jason relationship that time. We love this couple (of Dream High) so much don’t we?

This song made me want to cry… T_T

I want to thank the person cut this clip ;) … thanks!

Ooh I just can’t wait to write the summary… T_T

2PM Jang Woo Yeong & Hutos, How Cute Can You Be? https://kdramachoa.com/2pm-jang-woo-yeong-hutos-how-cute-can-you-be/ https://kdramachoa.com/2pm-jang-woo-yeong-hutos-how-cute-can-you-be/#respond Thu, 03 Feb 2011 04:21:40 +0000 http://kdramachoa.com/?p=6337 Woo Yeong has been a hot topic of discussion among netizen recently. Some caught his expression very much like Hutos, an animation character from KBS’s kid program. Just look at this expression: his eyes wide open and mouth pouting. How cute can he be? Don’t you think they really look alike? ;)

I never really like 2PM (more into 2AM :p ), but I started to spot him when he’s involved in the current KBS drama “Dream High”. He has a good voice and a good dancer for sure. My favourite scene of him was when he sang 2AM’s “I Can’t Send You Away Even If I Die” with a piano…ohhh, that was melting.

Dream High Episode 7 Summary https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-7-summary/ https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-7-summary/#comments Sun, 30 Jan 2011 01:59:50 +0000 http://kdramachoa.com/?p=6288

Jin Guk was such an obidient son. His father said that he did everything and accomplished everything for him…what kind of child wouldn’t fall for that? So he decided to let loose of his ego and agreed to go for study abroad. He needed to go discreetly within a month. No one, especially the press should know about him leaving the country.

Meanwhile, Jason spoke out to Ms.Shi his objection to be paired with Ree Ah and asked if he could be paired with someone else. The strict Ms. Shi harshly said that he should be grateful for the oppotunity instead because Ree Ah would help him spotted on the stage.

The upset Jason spotted Pil Sook in front of the locker and asked her out. They went to karaoke and had some fun there. It was so funny when they did a duet for 2PM’s song “Heart beat”. They also sang Moon Geun Yeong’s legendary song from ‘My Little Bride’ and a song called “Some of this Dream.” These two were so cute and I really like the fact that Jason valued friendship not from any physical matter. He just felt comfortable being around Pil Sook.

Jin Guk’s personal issue then affected the entire half-admission class. Jin Guk announced that he’s not participating in the fake showcase. To make things worst for Hye Mi, she (and Sam Dong) witnessed the moment when Jin Guk promised Baek Hee he would come to the real showcase as her invited-guest since she thought her mother wouldn’t come and that’d be very sad.

The upset Hye Mi asked Jin Guk what really happened, what had changed his mind all of the sudden, if it had anything to do with his father. Jin Guk just said it was his decision. Hye Mi continued asking, “What about our promise to be on the same stage together, don’t you remember it?” Jin Guk just coldly said he didn’t. Hye Mi gave him a hard kick on the leg and then left.

The fun between Jason and Pil Sook had to be ended because the girl had to go practicing for the fake showcase. But Pil Sook didn’t say the real reason why she had to go, she just said that she had a very important appoinment. Jason was cutely very curious and offered to take her to that place. Pil Sook refused, but she really had no idea how curious Jason was. The half-admission class was having a meeting (they decided to have Yang Jin Man disguised as a student to subtitute Jin Guk) when Jason had a sneak peak inside. Gotcha Pil Sook!

Back at Kang’s house, Hye Mi’s mood was quite gloomy when she helped Sam Dong cutting the paper. Sam Dong said she didn’t have to work very hard and let it all to him, and told her to just go to sleep. The sleepy Hye Mi said she owed him a great deal, so she had to give her best to help Sam Dong in this. That was a bit bitter for Sam Dong knowing that Hye Mi’s concern was actually no more than a good friend trying to pay her debt. Then suddenly Hye Mi fell asleep, her head fell to Sam Dong’s shoulder….and the bad mood Jin Guk was just coming home and had to see all that. Jin Guk had no other choice than to suppress his feelings.

Oh Yeok told Jin Man about Sam Dong’s song he heard the other day and the two got very excited because it was an interesting original song and their student who created it. These old pals then suddenly let go of their “bad-memories” and had fun together remembering their old days as students at Kirin.

The day of the showcase finally came. Ree Ah overheard Jason’s short conversation with Ms. Shi the other day, so she started to be the real big headed bitch. She said Jason shouldn’t go far away from her if he wanted to be spotted by the press and talent agency. There’s just alot of pressure for Jason and he kind of lost the fun of the showcase at all. He just couldn’t take it anymore, so he left.

On his way out, he saw Mr. Gong was talking about a CD left behind at school. Jason knew about the fake showcase and he needed a right place to escape for a moment, so he volunteered to take the CD. But when he was about to leave the school, he found out that Pil Sook was having a little problem to be paired with Yang Jin Man. She insisted on singing solo and Mr. Yang just did the dance…there Jason overheard it and volunteered himself to perform with her. Jin Man was too embarass to meet another student since he was wearing a uniform that he hid himself ridiculously under the table.

Jin Guk came to the real showcase as he promised. But since Ree Ah refused to perform after Jason left her, Baek Hee wanted to take the place and asked Jin Guk to be her partner. She said she wanted to show her mother that she did have the talent and worthed to be proud of.

Meanwhile, it wasn’t only Jason who went to the school to pick up some stuffs. Ms. Shi was also there and unfortunately she found out about the fake showcase. She told Kang Oh Yeok that what he’s doing was wrong because he’s giving the kids a fake hope and he should stop all of it. Oh Yeok didn’t give up easily. At the right moment he scooped Ms. Shi up and brought her to the office and locked her there.

So the showcase began. The first song was “Some of This Dream.” At the fake show it was performed by Pil Sook and Jason in kind of 80’s style, while at the real one was performed by Baek Hee and Jin Guk in more recent up beat.

When the performance ended and everyone made a round applause for Baek Hee and Jin Guk, he got a kind of epiphany. He realized what his real dream was, what he really wanted to do in life and whom he really wanted to be with. He thanked Baek Hee for everything and Baek Hee realized that he was thinking about Hye Mi, not her.

The last performace at the fake showcase was the duet Hye Mi-Sam Dong singging “Maybe“. Before going onto the stage, Hye Mi asked Sam Dong what he told his mom about their relationship. Sam Dong said that they were like Mong Ryong and Chun Hyang. Hye Mi then said, “Then tonight i’ll be your Chun Hyang.”

After the show, Oh Yeok was congratulated Sam Dong when suddenly Sam Dong temporary lost his hearing and was about to faint. Oh no, I could sense a bad thing about the side effect of Sam Dong’s wound on the head. Oh Yeok asked if he’s okay, Sam Dong regained his stable condition again and said he’s fine.

Kang Oh Yeok made a suprising statement at his speech. He told the audience that it was actually a fake showcase. students performed there were actually rejected from the real one. But he said those kids had a talent and worth-pursue dream and he wanted to support his students for reaching their dreams. He said he had a faith on them and asked the parents to support them as well. Oh Yeok succeeded to show everyone what a great and dedicated teacher he was. He made his sister and friends and students proud of him. They made a great applause. Even Ms. Shi, who were released by Mr. Yang, was touched by the speech.

Even Hye Mi gave Oh Yeok a high five and a sincere smile for the first time.

Because of the epiphany, Jin Guk came to his father to confirm that he’s not going abroad like he planned. He said it wasn’t for a rebellion. He said it’s something he really want to do in life and he promised to be a son his father would be proud of. I like that Jin Guk was still potrayed a good son no matter how angry he was with his father.

I think this is what the drama want to show to the audience. They want to teach young Koreans that no matter what, they have to be good children for their parents…because parents are always gonna be parents, just like children will always be. No matter how angry you are, you still have to talk to your parents in honorific language and in a polite way. Korean people valued family relationship very high that maybe western people or any other foreign couldn’t really understand how serious it could be.  But parents-children relationship for Korean is something that “even death couldn’t do us apart”. Korean believe that parents will always love and take care of their children even in their after life, and as children will always bow their heads, love and take care of their parents as well.

Back to Jin Guk. We didn’t know what his father said about Jin Guk’s decision, but Jin Guk looked cheerful on his way out from his dad’s office. He text Hye Mi to meet each other at a certain place at 6 oclock. But as soon as he left the office building, Jin Guk was greeted by some men he didn’t know who. He had a feeling that the men were about to do bad things to him, so he tried to flee…..but he failed. They got him and his cellphone was dropped somewhere.

I started to really like this drama. It had giving me surprises in every episodes. And though it pretty much like Glee, I still like it. I like the songs as well, and yeaah Pil Sook-Jason. Their progress was the thing I always eager to know in every episode.

We have to wait for episode 8 till next week. ;)

Dream High Episode 6 Summary https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-6-summary/ https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-6-summary/#respond Wed, 26 Jan 2011 14:44:26 +0000 http://kdramachoa.com/?p=6194 Look who ended up pitying herself for her own evilness. I couldn’t believe she’s able to do that, but I still have a faith that Yoon Bek Hee was not that evil. From her teary eyes I could tell that she’s sorry for hurting Song Sam Dong.

Sam Dong had to be taken to the hospital and got a small surgery. There wasn’t a serious injury on the brain, but Hye Mi just couldn’t stop worrying him and feeling guilty. Sam Dong was happy finding Hye Mi falling asleep next to him when he regained consciousness. Hye Mi couldn’t hold her emotion when she found out Sam Dong was okay.

Pil Sook was calling Hye Mi when Jason approached her and asked her how’s Sam Dong. Cutely Pil Sook didn’t see him coming that she knocked her self down her seat. Of course the gentle Jason offered her a hand and Pil Sook got it differently. But her bright mood immidiately changed when seeing Jason walked intimately with the pretty Ree Ah.

Baek Hee might be really sorry that she even went cleaning the “die” vandalism on Hye Mi’s locker. But disappointingly, she denied her sin when Jin Guk confronted her there. “Above all people, you’re the one I need the most to trust me,” pled Baek Hee holding Jin Guk’s hand firmly. And boys would be boys. He just stopped saying any words after that…

Getting back to Oh Yeok’s place, Sam Dong smugly said to Jin Guk that Hye Mi might really like him. He told Jin Guk that Hye Mi looked beautiful when she smiled. Jin Guk never saw her smile, but he’s always there when Hye Mi needed a shoulder to cry on. Sam Dong innocently asked why Hye Mi cried with him, Jin Guk smugly said that maybe she was comfortable crying with him. I like the competition between these two boys. They’re openly showing their intention in winning Hye Mi’s heart while they’re still good friends. Oh, one thing. I thought Sam Dong was really cool until Jin Guk caught him wearing his underwear. Gee Sam Dong, that’s someone else’s underware!

Sam Dong’s mom collapsed when she heard the news that Sam Dong was badly injured. Sam Dong got the news, so he rushed home. Thankfully his mom was okay. And when she asked about the injury, Sam Dong lied by saying that she might have mistaken getting the message. He said he’s performing at school’s showcase where parents were invited.

Hye was so worry about Sam Dong that she waited him at the Seoul bus terminal. Sam Dong was very flattered, but Hye Mi turned down the good mood right away. She asked Sam Dong to stay out of her business because she didn’t know how to pay her debt to him. She already owed him a life so another debt would be very hard for her. Sam Dong was disappointed, but he’s still cool. He accepted it and still determined to get Hye Mi’s heart.

At school, Jeong Ah Jeong was playing dirty by pretending to spread the rumour that Baek Hee was the criminal behind Sam Dong’s accident. She knew Baek Hee was listening inside the changing room. But surprisingly, Hye Mi who was apparently in the same room came out and confronted Ah Jeong. She said that the real Baek Hee she knew wouldn’t go that low, and she made sure Baek Hee listened to what she said carefully.

Sam Dong was really out of the line when he lied to his mom about his life at school. He said he’s popular (illustrated like the Boys After Flower) and Hye Mi fell for him (illustrated like Hong Ki Ju calling out Gu Eun Jeo). However, thanks to his lies, Kang Oh Yeok decided they should make a serious preparation for the showcase.

But trouble was a real friend for these kids. Principal Shi told Ms.Maeng to make the showcase impossible for the half-admission class and yes they did it. They made special requirements for the kids who wanted to perform on the showcase and they made only Oh Yeok’s class that’s uneligible. However, the creative Oh Yeok decided to make a fake showcase for the kids.

The heart broken Pil Sook decided to give up the school. She realized that she didn’t fit there. Kang Oh Yeok was not on his desk so she gave it Ms. Maeng. Yang Jin Man blamed her for the showcase’s requirement that it made a talented kid like Pil Sook thought she had no hope.

Pil Sook was cleaning up her locker (wait, is that a pan? You have a pan in your school locker? Pil Sook…you’re really something) when Jason watched her from in front f his locker. He said it’d be a great loss if she quit school because he wanted to perform on the stage with her. He said he liked her voice from the day of their audition. Yeah, Jason did look disappointed when he was announced to be paired with Ree Ah. So Pil Sook’s mood was high again. She tore her own resignation on Ms. Maeng’s desk.

The fake showcase was set up. Jin Man was appointed as the special trainer in music and dance, Ma Doo Shik was requested to rent the school on the day of the real showcase pretended that he needed it for having a community event, and Kang Oh Seon was requested to invite some journalist.

Sam Dong, Jin Guk, and Hye Mi was so eager to hold this fake showcase. They dilligently practiced dancing. Sam Dong couldn’t handle watching Hye Mi dancing with Jin Guk, while he had a trouble pairing with Pil Sook (she hit him on the “catch” part of the dance). They also cutely discussed the stage layout together.

Everything was fun until when they were looking for Kang Oh Yeok to talk about the budget. They went to this particular place to find Oh Yeok, but surprisingly they found their teacher was making a deal with Ma Doo Shik. Hye Mi (as well as the two boys) then found out that Oh Yeok covering up her family debt by giving his house certificate as a pledge.

Hye Mi was shock. For her Kang Oh Yeok was supposed to be a bad guy. He lured her mother to leave her family. She thought he’s her biggest enemy. But finding out what this guy had done for her…she was confused. Hye Mi ran out and cried. Jin Guk rushed after her and soothed her, as always.

They shared their hard life dealing with parents issue. Although not exactly the same, Jin Guk’s issue with his cold-hearted dad was quite as heavy as Hye Mi’s deadly-in-debt-dad and left-me-since-I-was-a-kid mom. Jin Guk then told Hye Mi to be success together. He wanted Hye Mi to be there together with him on the stage when they’re already success in the future. They both looked at Wonder Girl’s poster as if looking for their own dream…globally successful entertainer.

Things had gone very melancholy in the last part of this episode, and we still had to finish it with another heartbreaking moment. Jin Guk was walking Hye Mi back to the Kang’s house when he had an univited guest. His father arrived in front of the house with a firm face. Jin Guk approached him and was inteded to greet him politely when suddenly he gave him a hard slap. I guess it was the invitation to Kirin (fake) showcase that drove him mad.

Dream High Episode 5 Summary https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-5-summary/ https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-5-summary/#respond Mon, 24 Jan 2011 23:12:51 +0000 http://kdramachoa.com/?p=6151

The real war officially started, but with only Kang Oh Yeok as the teacher everything seemed to be hard. However, the students had no other choice but to ask him a big help. The three of them got along with each other well after all the misunderstandings cleared up. But Sam Dong was quite determine. Hye Mi’s cold response to him didn’t stop him showing his affection to this girl.

There was suddenly a knock in the door…they had another student in the class: the weight-loss-in-progress Pil Sook. IU’s face could then finally be seen. Oh she’s adorable.

Oh Yeok wasn’t really good in teaching acting, so he recorded how another teacher taught at the regular class and then showed it to his class just like the at-home-yoga with video instruction. However, their class was disturbed by the presence of Principal Shi. (Was he mirroring Dir.Jeong style??) so the class needed to find another place to practice. Kang Oh Yeok knew exactly where he should take them: Jin Guk’s old underground place.

Kang Oh Yeok needed a help for teaching the students. He went to see Yang Jin Man. He persuaded him using their old-time-together dream. Yang Jin Man refused, so Oh Yeok had to said the number (money). Jin Man agreed then, but eventually he came back again the next day. He said that Oh Yeok wouldn’t make them pass the appraisal.

Hye Mi accused Baek Hee for being the one behind her hardtimes at school. But Baek Hee played innocence, especially in front of Jin Guk who interfere and backed up Baek Hee. He said it wasn’t her. And he seeemed to know who’s the real culprit: his friend In Seong.

Yang Jin Man taught them music and acting. The acting class was important for them to deliver the sincere emotion through the song. Everyone was practicing quite well, but Hye Mi was still as emotionless as ever that she made Jin Man gave up.

However, Hye Mi was willing to learn because she needed to win. So she went to learn it from Pil Sook. She asked Pil Sook how could she easily deliver the emotion through the song. Pil Sook just simply said, “Because i’m in love.” She then took Hye Mi to secretly watch Jason practicing in the piano room. Hye Mi doubted Jason really had a special feelings to Pil Sook, even though she told her about the way Jason always treated him. But then it turned out that Jason was basically a gentleman with a good manner. So he treated all the girls as nicely and respectedly as he did with Pil Sook. And Hye Mi confronted him for that. She told him that his manner made girls misunderstood him.

Then the scene went to this man. Hmm…if i’m not mistaken he was Jin Guk’s old roomate. He looked so desperate when standing on the edge of a rooftop, and just a minute or so…he jumped.

But he didn’t die. Jin Guk and Oh Yeok picked him up at the police station. Jin Guk’s friend apparently failed the law exam, so he had an idea to cheer up his friend. He asked Oh Yeok to teach him Girl’s Generation’s dance, and the whole Half-admission class took part.

From Jin Guk’s friend, Hye Mi found out that Jin Guk didn’t know his birth date. On their way home, Jin Guk tried to start a conversation with Hye Mi who sat at the other end of the seat row. He asked if she’s still angry with him for not backing her up in front of Baek Hee and the rest of the school the other day. Hye Mi didn’t literally talk back. Instead, she started writing on the bus’s window.

“You really don’t know your birthday?”

Jin guk said he didn’t, but he knew the fake birthday: Christmas eve.

Then Hye Mi recalled her memories with this particular boy. So she knew that the boy had then grown became Jin Guk. It was actually her who set up Jin Guk’s birthday to be on Christmas Eve. She even sang a beautiful birthday song for him that night.

The day of the appraisal came. everyone seemed to be nervous. Jin Man and Oh Yeok who secretly watched from out side the room got the pattern of the appraisal: it didn’t rely on how high the score on the karaoke-like scoring machine, but on how much students paid attention to the performance. So Baek Hee only got 85 even though the machine said she’s over that score because only about 85% of the class really paid attention to her performance.

Hye Mi surprised her Jin Man and Oh Yeok by changing her song when she’s ready to perform. She decided to sing birthday song she used to sing for little Jin Guk. She then sang this song to big Jin Guk and she succeeded to deliver her emotion through this song. And she got 100, so she won the bet.

While Jin Guk was flying high because Hye Mi sang the song for him, not everyone was happy. someone was planning on playing a dirtier game on her. Jin Guk found out that someone wanted to hurt Hye Mi for real. At first he thought it’d be In Seong again, but he’s not. And Hye Mi was nowhere to be found. He called Pil Sook and Sam Dong to ask her whereabout. Sam Dong told him that she’s trashing the trash outside. Jin Guk then alert him that Hye Mi might be in danger. Sam Dong rushed out.

It was just about milisecond, if Sam Dong hadn’t been there to push Hye Mi aside, she might’ve been hit by the flying pot. Sam Dong asked if she’s okay, but unfortunately he’s the one who collapsed. It turned out that Sam Dong’s head got hit and bled. Jin Guk could only see the scene from afar…

Dream High Episode 3 Summary https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-3-summary/ https://kdramachoa.com/dream-high-episode-3-summary/#respond Sun, 16 Jan 2011 14:27:32 +0000 http://kdramachoa.com/?p=5784 Let’s start with the big question of “Why Jeong Ha Myeong seemed to have a big faith in such a lousy person -let alone as a teacher- as Kang Oh Yeok to find these 3 ‘special’ kids?”

Jeong Ha Myeong apparently had a knack on seeing other people great potential. What rubbish for others could be a very precious thing for him, and he had a reason for that. He said those three kids had a very big potential that are not revealed yet and people didn’t see it yet. He believe that proper education would help us shine in the future. And that’s the exact same way he saw Kang Oh Yeok.

Now we can go back to Hye Mi and Sam Dong at the song festival. Sam Dong asked her to perform with him and to wear the rice bag costume. She harshly refused, but then thought about the future effect that might happen: Oh Yeok got fired, she and her sister became homeless, and her sister died freezing…So then she immidiately changed her mind and played along with Sam Dong.

The main performer looked at his mother’s eyes before started to sing…and when the first tone was hit, we soon knew how terrible his singing would be. Like Hye Mi thought, if it wasn’t the voice, it had to be the move. But turned out the dance was awful as well.

The cutest thing in this drama would be Pil Sook being the openly admirer of Jason. She treated Jason as if he was already a real rock star. And what made it more sweet was Jason’s response to her. He just acted cool without resenting her. That’s a nice thing to do for a real cool man, right?

Kang Oh Yeok ran Jin Guk to the ER. He looked serious, but apparently not that serious. When Oh Yeok was asked to pay for the administration, Jin Guk had already left. He was having a meeting with his dad. Well, Jin Guk-his father relationship is so classic, but it seemed that Jin Guk wasn’t really in the state of hating him. His father was the everything-counts-as-business type of a politician, even when he talked to his own son. No father’s warm love for Jin Guk, so he decided to stand on his own and live his life separately from his father’s.

I don’t follow the real plot scenes here, but it is not messing the story line.

Hye Mi lied to Sam Dong, saying she liked him, to make this boy went to Seoul with her. Sam Dong refused, but Hye Mi was a determine girl so she followed him home hiding behind the tractor all the way. Sam Dong’s mom welcomed her very warmly, so she wouldn’t miss that chance: using the mother as her weapon! She explained about Kirin Art Highschool and also the special recruitment by Dir. Jeong. Sam Dong still refused to go.

She couldn’t go back to Seoul that night so she had to stay overnight in that village. It turned out that Sam Dong’s house had no in-house toilet. So Hye Mi had to be accompanied by Sam Dong to the public toilet since it was quite dangerous to go alone. Hye Mi asked Sam Dong to close his ears because she was embarass of having a boy hearing the funny sounds she made while doing poo poo. Sam Dong didn’t close his ears, instead he asked Hye Mi to sing herself.

Then she sang Mandy Moore’s “Only Hope.” For me it’s kind of funny. I mean…”Only Hope” wasn’t the best soundtrack for the poo poo scene!  Well, at least Sam Dong was touched but the song and Hye Mi’s beautiful voice.

Jin Guk refused to go to Kirin School since it couldn’t make him famous instantly. But Oh Yeok challenged him a race between elevator and stairways. He said there’s only 0.0000001% he could win the race through running up the stairs to the 11th floor, but he’d prove him everything could happen. And the result was…he lost his own challenge. But Jin Guk went with him anyway.

Sam Dong made the old-drama style running-after-your-lover-bus. He just wanted to make sure whether Hye Mi was sincere when she said she liked him. She of course said yes to make him go to Seoul on the welcome ceremony day at Kirin.

Dir. Jeong introduced Oh Yeok with Yang Jin Man. Oh Hyeok immidiately recognized his old pal, but Jin Man pretended not knowing him before. So Jin Man and Oh Yeok went to school together, and that time they had a promise to pursue their dream together. But apparently, Oh Yeok didn’t show up in their audition…and Jin Man hated him for that.

Hye Mi went home and got a big surprise. Jin Guk was there, half naked! It’s another old-style in drama story line. They even had the suddenly-drop-down towel too. I think contemporary dramas should stop having this old-school idea.

What did I tell you about Jason-Pil Sook cute relationship? When the new students of Kirin all receiving their uniforms, In Seong made a fun of how big Pil Sook’s skirt was. Jason claimed it as his. In Seong just wouldn’t stop there. But Jason just coldly said, “I said it’s mine” in English.

Baek Hee found out about Hye Mi’s real situation from Ma Doo Shik. So when Hye Mi showed up at school, she apologoized. But Hye Mi resent her.

Other students in Kirin just as simple as disliked Hye Mi for many reasons. It happened even when they all waited for the bus in the bus stop. Jin Guk was there and urged her to join him “listening to the music.” But Hye Mi heard nothing from it. Jin Guk made it a fake. He said it  helped you pretend to be lonely by your own choice when you’re actually lonely.

And the new students welcome ceremony was finally held in Kirin Art HS. Art Minister Shi invited some repoters. His true reason was to hummiliate Dir.Jeong publicly. Jason performed a good dance. And look who did a solo! Yoon Baek Hee. After secretly hurting Jeong Ah Jeong’s foot fingers by putting a drawing pin inside her shoe. This girl is so tricky…

This drama so much reminds me of Glee, but I like the songs sung here. These actors are really talented. I could see Suzy tried so hard and I think she wasn’t bad. But my favourite so far was of course Jason-Pil Sook! ;)
