Jang Geun Seok on “Love Rain” Confirmed

A couple days after his 24th birthday (August 4th), Jang Geun Seok has a surprise for us. He will back on small screen this fall.

How lucky he is because he’ll able to work for Yoon Seok Ho, the director for four-seasons-hallyu-drama (Winter Sonata, Spring Waltz, Autumn Tale, and Summer Scent). On 2011, the director decided to come back on melodrama project after five years hibernating. I think this project also Jang Geun Seok’s gift for his birthday.

As usual, not too far from the title that contain the elements of nature, it’s planed he will work on romantic drama titled “Love Rain” or the longer title “Love Rides the Rain” (사랑비), but this is still a tentative title.

The drama tells about two different settings, the 70’s and present day, and Jang Geun Seok will plays two characters: the wild but charming photographer on present day, and the romantic artist on 70’s. However, actually the two characters have one similarity, they both are trying to find the true love at their times.

As the planned, this drama will be released on September but maybe will be postponed if Jang Geun Seok still busy. The director put great hopes on Jang Geun Seok for this drama, so do I, i still curious about his acting since I was disappointed with his acting in “Marry Me, Mary”

And for Jang Geun Seok, me and Rizz were too busy to write a special birthday article for you on August 4th (but we did’t forget your birthday), so better late than never, we say “Happy-belated-birthday, Jang Geun Seok-ssi!”
