“Love Rain”, Pre-Sale To Japan

Before running on screen this melodrama officially become hallyu drama. Not only directed by Yoon Seok Ho, the director from four seasons hallyu drama (Winter Sonata, Autumn Tale, Sping Waltz, and Summer Scent) and has hallyu actors, Jang Geun Seok and Yoona (SNSD’s member),  but also the broadcasting right of this drama has been sold to Japan.

The four seasons drama, especially “Winter Sonata”(2000) gained big success in Japan, even the buzz hasn’t ended until now, maybe due to that reason Japan’s public has high expectation for “Love Rain”. The drama started the production in September but planned will be released on early 2012, there is not yet any precise schedule.

“Love Rain” tells about two love stories from different generation, the 70’s and the present. Both, Jang Geun Seok and Yoona, will play on two different characters: the parents and the children. Actually this melodrama recalls me about Son Ye Jin-Jo In Sung’s movie “The Classic”, so i hope this drama will be as sweet as that movie.
