My Dear Desperado

A lousy gangster (cannot really fight, yet acts to be powerful and tough guy) named Oh Dong Chul lives in a small apartment, one day meet his new neighbor. Lee Se Jin, is a very strong minded woman. These two neighbors cannot get along with each other at first, but as time goes by, Oh Dong Chul is getting protective to her. Then the two think that maybe they fit in with each other.

There was a funny scene where Se Jin entered a small restaurant. It was so full of noisy women, yet found Dong Chul was there in a corner, sat silently eating his noodle. Se Jin was calling the waitress, but since it was so noisy, she got no response. Dong Chul, who witnessed the situation then hilariously screamed at all the noisy women “Shut Up!” and in an instant the restaurant went silent. Se Jin was then ordered her noodle and Dong Chul gave her a  place next to him. Finally it was only two of them left in the restaurant and Se Jin was about to leave after finishing her noodle. Dong Chul paid for her then walked her back to the apartment. They walked in silent until Dong Chul stopped in the middle of the way asking her to pay him his money back. He said he just lent it to her, didn’t really pay the noodle for her.

This movie is a very highly anticipated movie in 2010, since it was starred by Park Joong Hoon (his previous movie was “Haeundae“). He played as Oh Dong Chul very well, as well as his partner Jeong Yoo Mi as Lee Se Jin. Many famous celebrities was coming to the movie premiere.
