Cheon Jeong Myeong-Park Min Yeong-Lee Jang Wook on KBS’s New Drama
Apparently no need time to take some rest for Park Min Yeong, after finishing “City Hunter”, she straight to new drama, title “Man of Honor” (영광의 재인) or as literally means “Yeong Kwang’s Jae In”. But it’s okay, i love her more because of her acting on “City Hunter”. She so adorable on that action drama, the lovely Kim Na Na (Bear).
On “Man of Honor” she will act alongside Cheon Jeong Myeong. Frankly, because my busy activities i wasn’t really put more attention to Cheon Jeong Myeong’s latest drama “The Duo”. I only take a look at the drama occasionally, but i admit he looks more manly on that sageuk drama. If on “The Duo” his role as a sageuk warrior, and now on “Man of Honor” he becomes a baseball player, Kim Yeong Kwang. He is in his glory time, the best player on team, now his position on team is threatened by the new protege on his team. The first become the second shooter and his condition in the team is getting worse when he get injury. Then he was admitted to the hospital where he meet Yoon Jae In (played by Park Min Yeong) a lovely-bright nurse who will give him spirit to survive.
As always on drama, you need another leading man, and the second leading man goes to Lee Jang Wook. He will be the competitor of Yeong Kwang to get Jae In’s love. This love triangle kind of thing sounds so cliche indeed.
I don’t want to give more comment about this romantic drama since I still don’t know what the specific problem or conflict which will be revealed, but there’s somethings special from this drama. The writer (Kang Eun Kyung) and the PD (Lee Jung Sub) of this drama are also the duo writer-PD for the successful family drama “Baker King Kim Tak Gu”. Absolutely they hope that “Man of Honor” will be as successful as “Baker King Kim Tak Gu” or maybe more than that gigantic drama. i hope so.
“Man of Honor” will begin running on KBS replacing “The Princess’s Man” on October 12th.
