Ji Chang Wook Gets Involved in Love-Triangle with Ha Ji Won and Joo Jin Mo for “Empress Ki”
On September 10th, reportedly that Ji Chang Wook will be a younger husband for Ha Ji Won in the up-coming drama “Empress Ki.” Ji Chang Wook was chosen to portray Yuan Emperor, Soon Je (Togon Temur) the last emperor of Yuan Dynasty.
Based on the history, after his younger brother became emperor due to political intrigue, the young Soon Je was exiled to Goryeo. But after his brother died, he was back on the throne. He’s married to a Goryeo woman, who was older than him, but he chose that woman as the Empress, she is Empress Ki.
In this drama, Ji Chang Wook will ‘compete’ with his political enemy Joo Jin Mo, who plays as Goryeo King, King Chung Hye, who is also the love interest of Empress Ki (Ha Ji Won).
“Empress Ki” has begun filming. This drama will be replacing “Jung Yi, Goddess of Fire” on October.
