Bridal Mask (Gaksital) Episode 9 Quick Summary

Shonji was officially lead the division and was in charge on Gaksital case. Kang To worked under him. Shonji was told by his father that he shouldn’t trust Kang To because he’s the native and worked under Konno.

Kang To remembered the day on his training when he’s bullied by Kenji and his friends in Kendo practice. It was Shonji who saved him. Kang To wanted to learn everything well because he wanted to get out of his family situation. He literary begged Shonji to teach him Kendo and Shonji had been a very good teacher, as well as a friend for Kang To since then. So that’s how their friendship started.

And then there came the day of Kendo championship in the police department. Both Kang To and Shonji participated and they’re the representatives of different groups. So the teacher-student faced each other on the match. Kang To beat him..or Shonji let Kang To beat him. “Is it because if me?” asked Kang To to Shonji. That nice guy just gave him a smile and said that he did it sincerely.

After the briefing, Shonji met Kang To in private. His serious image loosen as he was only with Kang To. “Is it because of that woman you’re doing this” asked Kang To. Kenji’s man, Goiso, came in and he argued with Kang To about Gaksital, as usual. But then Shonji ordered the investigation on Mok Dan to be proceed. Kang To asked if he’s serious with it. Shonji knew what he was doing.

The mysterious man from the train, Choi Tae Geon, looked for a note on the message board in a restaurant. The note was one of his ways to communicate secretly with someone.

The circus members were surprised by the sudden visit by Shonji and the police troops. He’s there to warn them that the police would be strictly watching their every move. He said that if he found any evidence, everyone in the circus would die, and he meant it. Mok Dan ran to catch up with Shonji, and then asked him if he’s doing it because of her. Shonji said it’s because Gaksital killed his brother and she shouldn’t misunderstood it.

Kang To was having a leisure time with Mr. Lee’s son. He’s been smiling widely all the time enjoying his “free” life as his brother and mother had died. But as soon as he’s out of the club, the smile instantly faded. He gave a signal of instruction to Bake Geon.

Konno was visiting his senior who was enjoying the bribery. He also put some golds into his pocket, even though they’re talking about Gaksital case.

In the market, a mysterious ricksaw attracted everyone’s attention. It turned out to be Mr.Jo, almost naked and was signed by Gaksital’s mark on his body. And then people spotted Gaksital on the top of one of the buildings. Abe was trying to shoot Gaksital, but people in the market started to attacked him, from a little kid, women, everyone. Both Abe and Mr.Jo had to flee themselves to the police station. It’s an alert alarm for Shonji and his division. When they’re all at the gate, they met Kang To and Goiso asked where Kang To had been. Kang To had a good aliby, so he just passed and Shonji just told him to get ready to get Gaksital.

Mr.Kimura and Shonji visited Mr.Jo in the hospital.Mr.Jo mentioned about Kishokai and Shonji looked surprise hearing that society name. He knew it, but had no idea what’s the relation of Kishokai with all these conflict.

Mok Dan was performing her mask dance just like any other days, though under surveillance of Goiso and some police. But then she made a big mistake by performing Gaksital’s mask and it made Goiso stopped her and interrogated her. But suddenly some officers came, some disguised men, to save Mok Dan. He threatened Goiso and then brought Mok Dan and the Circus leader to meet Choi Tae Geon. It turned out that Choi Tae Geon was the disguised Mok Dan’s father, Dam Sa Ri.

Kang To was performing a song in the club, leisure time. Suddenly a guest asked to meet him. Apparently it was Mr.Jo asked him to get Gaksital because he couldn’t ask the Kimuras for this. When Kang To asked him if he had explained to Kimuras about the reason why Gaksital was after him, Mr.Jo turned very nervous and excused himself right away.

Mok Dan was with her father in the church saying their prayers and gratitude to God. Then her father said that they should support Gaksital because Gaksital had been and would be a very great help for their fight. In the same time, in the woods,Gaksital noticed the sign Mok Dan left for the boy she’d been waiting for. He took off his mask and knew that Mok Dan was looking for him. Then he heard someone was running to his way, it was Mok Dan. Kang To hid behind the tree. “I know you’re around here, but why can’t you let me see you again. I really miss you.” Mok Dan cried and Kang To could only see her from a distance. Mok Dan left another message, this time longer: “I really want to see you. I will meet you here for sure.”

The police highers were holding a meeting. Konno was expressing his disappointment to Kimura for his lie about Gaksital’s death. Then he exposed the picture that Kang To had found earlier, showing Kimura with the dead Mr.Choi. Mr.Kimura’s explanation was insufficient, so Konno ordered Kang to to arrest Kimura. Shonji was confused, but Mr.Kimura gave a sign to his son to just let it be.

Shonji was visiting Mr.Lee to talk about his father situation. He asked for Mr.Lee’s help. It was Mr.Lee’s wife who told him not to get very stressful about it because they had the hidden card. Mr.Lee’s wife made a call to Chae Hong joo. Later on Chae Hong Joo came crying to Konno’s senior’s office asking for help. That man liked Chae Hong Joo and thought that woman would be his. Konno was summoned and asked to release Kimura Taro. That man guaranteed that he’s gonna have Taro under his control. Kang To was in the interogation room with Mr.Kimura. The situation was tense, but Konno finally released Mr.Kimura and it was Shonji who picked him up.

Shonji was holding a briefing with his team. They’re preparing for strategy to catch Gaksital. But Shonji said that what he had with Gaksital is a personal revenge, “So Gaksital would die in my hand.” Kang To made a look.
