Secret Agent Miss Oh Episode 13 Summary
Han Do Hoon was having a lot of troubles with food in this episode. Many LOL scenes about that. But aside from the “food issue”, Do Hoon is getting more sincere to Ha Na that it amusingly touched even my heart . On the other hand, Jin Hyeok-Ha Na relationship was definitely rocking, while the oldies’ (Chief Shin and Ha Na’s mom) seemed to have a positive progress.
So, let’s begin with the previous jaw dropping line Do Hoon said to Ha Na: “I like you”.
Funnily Do Hoon seemed to blush after saying those words and even acted very awkward like a junior high boy confessing love to his first love. Ha Na surprisingly turned into confusion and disbelieve that her boss really did like her. She even said “You shouldn’t like me” to Do Hoon. But this stubborn man didn’t give a damn of anything else. All he knew was Ha Na was the first who confessed her feeling and then he just gave her the response for that. Go Jin Hyeok who witnessed the scene expected Ha Na to tell him about Han Do Hoon’s love confession to her, but Ha Na didn’t say any word about it. Jin Hyeok was very uncomfortable with the whole situation.
The next morning Han Do Hoon treated Ha Na alot nicer (too cheesy i think), while Ha Na acted just the same as usual. She received a gift box left by her boss on her desk. Han Do Hoon thought it’d be a surprise for Ha Na and it was a surprise for her, but in a very different way of surprise. It wasn’t any fancy bling bling nor a very expensive hand bag. It was a bunch of nescafe! And last but not least…a poetic love letter.
The NIA need to get things done immidiately. So they need to find out any proof they’ve been searching for in Han Do Hoon.
Jin Hyeok’s plan of having a lunch together with Ha Na was ruined by the insisting Han Do Hoon. They went out together to have a lunch in a fancy sashimi restaurant. Jin Hyeok absolutely didn’t hide his dislike to Han Do Hoon anymore. He kept saying sharp words and even when Han Do Hoon funnily asked Ha Na to feed him like she did with Jin Hyeok, this strict man took the chopsticks and did it in Ha Na’s place. I really couldn’t believe that Jin Hyeok could be so funny when he was jealous.
When the two men ran into each other in front of the rest room, the tension was very strong. Jin Hyeok clearly said to Do Hoon, “You don’t fit my noona.” Hmmm, I was expecting a physical fight, but I don’t think this scene was suitable. But I could sense that there would be a fight. If not in this episode, it’ll be in later ones. I think these two men’s war need to get a climax.
Let’s take a break from Jin Hyeok-Ha Na-Do Hoon love triangle for a while and take a look at the old folks. Agent Kim had been very suspicious in Chief Shin’s movement. He sensed there had to be a woman behind it. Ha Na’s mom kept nagging Chief Shin about the credit card phising and demanded her money back. And if not for a certain feelings, I didn’t think Chief Shin would’ve withdrawn his own money and pretended that he had reclaimed the money for her. I’m positive Chief Shin’s feeling was not one sided.
Do you still remember the mysterious girl Do Hoon had a “chat” with in the Art Fair? This girl was definitely a life threath for Ha Na. Just right in front of the staircase, while Ha Na was talking to Do Hoon, the girl intentionly bumped into Ha Na and aimed to drop her down the stairs. However instead, Han Do Hoon who was spontaniously trying to avoid Ha Na from falling, became the one who fell. I like the way the moment was dramatized. It wasn’t dramatical in a common way, it was thrilling and…very funny.
Han Do Hoon had his tail bone injured. At first he got very hyperbole about it, but quickly drew back when the doctor mentioned injection. This big guy was afraid of needle?? He was so unbelievably laughable.
The team who witnessed the thrilling staircase incident was so sure that the mysterious girl was threathening Ha Na’s safety in purpose. Jin Hyeok went crazy about this fact. He wanted to pull out Ha Na from the operation. Agent Choi argued with him and saying that he’s not professional by doing this. Jin Hyeok’s heart was full of worries and weariness. He’s in a very big dilemma.
Men always go to their mentors when they had a big problem, so did Jin Hyeok. To Chief Shin he said that actually he really wanted to be both a good agent and a good man, but at that kind of situation, he just wanted to be a good man. Chief Shin advised him to think about everything thoroughly and very carefully so that he wouldn’t fail to be both instead.
Ha Na was accopanying Do Hoon in his house and was asleep when Jin Hyeok called. Being so sure that it’s gonna be Ha Na who’s picking up the phone, Jin Hyeok straightly let out his worries: “Ha Na-ssi where are you? Are you okay?” What he didn’t expect was Do Hoon’s voice asking him back, “Who’s Ha Na? Are you Jin Sang?”
Jin Hyeok was so surprised, but quickly said that he must have got confused between his cousin’s number and his girlfriend’s. “So, Ha Na is your girlfriend?” asked Do Hoon. “Yes, she’s my girlfriend,” Jin Hyeok answered. Then he’s asking why Do Hoon was the one picking up his cousin’s ceellphone. Do hoon then said “Secretary Kim is sleeping.” I could see a thrill on Jin Hyeok’s face hearing those words. But Do Hoon quickly added, “But don’t get it wrong. I’m not an easy man.”
Seeing Ha Na sleeping, Do Hoon got an idea of making her food. Han Do Hoon was cooking? Yeahh, he even looked cute with the apron. But looking at his ingredients and the way he chopped them all made me taken aback and then burst out a laugh. Fruit and veggie mixed, what do you think the food would be? Salad? Nope.
Believe it or not everyone, it’s a fried (or stir, i dunno) rice with fruit and veggie. I didn’t dare to imagine the taste….
Ha Na was still half awake when she was dragged to the dining table. I didn’t blame her for making such a face when Do Hoon insisted her to eat. The taste had to be as horrible as it look since Ha Na almost choked Do Hoon with it.
Poor Ryu Jin had to have two people choked him food in one episode…
Choi Eun Seo got a depression about the whole situation. She went drinking and let out her feelings to Jin Hyeok. Later on she called Ha Na to stop by. She was already very drunk.
Even though I felt her character was quite annoying, but giving a little empathy to her…I couldn’t hate her. She was trapped in the middle of a difficult situation: her own position as the team leader and her one sided love for her ex-boyfriend-co-worker. That’s why she told Jin Hyeok that she couldn’t continue working together with him. Things seemed to give her heavy loads.
I also couldn’t blame her for hating Ha Na. She was a lot smarter, a lot hotter, and a lot more qualified then Ha Na, but yet everyone seemed to turn their backs on her and prefered Ha Na. Well, life is about taking consequences right? She made a huge mistake in the past and all she need to do is to move on and be a much tougher woman. If she could bear the hell-like three years on her own, she’d get through it well optimistically.
One of the things I like about this drama is the storyline that is not dragging into an angsty melodramatic like most of Korean dramas. The characters are rational and mature that it felt a lot more realistic. Instead of keeping their burdens or jealousy or angst all by themselves that sometimes made the viewers got very tired of it, the characters speak everything out. We really need to give this good-communication-based idea of the drama a round applause.
Jin Hyeok asked Ha Na to sit down together and talk about all the matters and misunderstandings. They had a heart to heart talk in the interview room. He told her that they need to trust and be honest to each other. He asked her not waver her heart to Han Do Hoon and not to see any man other than him. Aside from the unromantic place Jin Hyeok picked, I like this scene…it’s romantic in its own way.
After selling his favourite painting (the “it’s alright” painting) and handed the mysterious girl the money they’d been asking, Do Hoon was so down and went drinking. He called Ha Na to accompany her.
When Ha Na helped Do Hoon went back home, Choi Eun Seo (who was patroling with Jin Hyeok) ordered Ha Na to inspect around Do Hoon’s bedroom. Jin Hyeok disagree with this idea since it’s very dangerous. But Eun Seo said this order would let them know whether or not Ha Na has a feeling to Do Hoon.
As a field agent, Ha Na obeyed the instruction. She began with Do Hoon’s large closet. But what she didn’t see was…the sleeping Han Do Hoon was actually opening his eyes and observed her suspicious movement. I bet Do Hoon actually had known Ha Na’s being a mole agent long ago, but he just let his feeling covered it all.
With three more episodes left, I still couldn’t guess whether the operation would be a huge success or be terminated, since the NIA had not yet found any evidence in Do Hoon’s involvement in Joo Soo Young’s drug business. The mysterious girl was pretty annoying and I had a hunch that her evil action wouldn’t stop in a single episode.
Jin Hyeok character disappointed me once, but so far he paid back more than I’ve expected. On the other side, Do Hoon’s affection to Ha Na is getting more interesting. So I think it’s all left to Ha Na. The three episodes ahead will tell us her true feelings for both men.
