Bridal Mask (Gaksital) Episode 2 Quick Summary

Kang To was pointed by the gun, but it turned out to be the fake Gaksital. The real Gaksital was above the building, saving Kang To by distracting the fake Gaksital. Since the fake Gaksital failed his mission, the chief Kimura Taro, was very displeased.

Kang To realized the pistol was a bit strange. A troop of police suddenly came approached him and arrested him.It’s Taro’s man.

Kang To was put into an “interrogation.” It was more a beating than an interview. He was kind of framed that he and Gaksital was actually related…something like that. That’s why they had a gut to beat Kang To and put him in jail.

Mok Dan got a letter from his father through a messenger. Her father informed her that they would meet each other again.

At school a girl in yellow shirt approached Teacher Shonji and gave him a pottery. When Shonji opened the lid of the pottery, there was a dagger with the initial. He remembered the little girl who was praying in the church. The girl in yellow shirt was actually Mok dan’s friend and she just realized her mistake when Mok Dan came and looked for her dagger. Mok Dan was running after her friend and her friend was escaping with Shonji who was passing by on bike. Mok Dan said something about the dagger and Shonji instantly recognized Mok Dan.

13 years earlier. Apparently, Shonji was Kimura Taro’s second son. His brother treated him worse than his father. Shonji loved his nanny so much, but his father kicked her out beause she was sick. The nanny was bleeding badly, so the teenage Shonji brought the nanny to the hospital. There he met the teenage Mok Dan who was working as a nurse there. Since the nanny’s illness was very bad and he needed a lot of money to let her got the best treatment, Shonji had to steal his father’s sword and sold it to pay for the nanny’s medical treatment. Mok Dan took care of the nanny very well. Suddenly Taro came beating his own son. This made Shonji became the patient in that hospital too and Mok Dan was treating him.

The flashback ended. Mok Dan and Shonji were happy that they finally met again. Mok Dan told him about the meaning of the dagger for her and she’d been waiting for someone to come. “The owner of the dagger?” asked Shonji.

Kang To was literary tortured. Because of this, he couldn’t show up in father’s death memorial day. Kang San told his mom that he would look for Kang To in Shonji place. Shonji dressed nicely that night when Kang San came asking for Kang To. Shonji told him that Kang To hadn’t come back yet. Kang San ended up teasing Shonji that he’s gonna meet a girl.

Kang To’s loyal junior was checking on him in the jail. But he ended up being beaten too. Shonji was on his way to see Mok Dan when he came across Kang To’s junior who was kicked out of the building.

Kang To provoked the bad guy so that he entered the jail. That way was easier for Kang To to attack him and made him as hostage in order to get himself out of there. Shonji came to prevent the troops from shooting him. Apparently, Kimura’s right hand man was his own son. That bad guy was Shonji’s elder brother.

Kang To managed to escape. Shonji got the beating too from his brother for saving Kang To. Shonji was put into jail after his brother reported the fail mission to their father.

A mysterious man in black came to Kang To’s house and paid respect to Mr.Lee’s memorial picture.

Konno Koji received a phone call from Kimura about Gaksital matter and Kang To. Right after he hung up the phone, Kang To came with all his bleeding.

The next day, Kimura Taro was summoned by Koji for Kang To’s matter. They all keep framing Kang To, but thankfully Koji was on Kang To’s side that even when the fake Gaksital was brought in and gave false testimony, he didn’t believe it. Then Koji summoned Shonji to give his testimony. Even thought Shonji sounded like taking side to Kang To, he’s actually trying to give as objective testimonial as he coud. Kimura was upset that his plan failed. Then he bargained Koji that Kang To had to be able to catch Gaksital otherwise he’s gonna take case over.

Mok Dan’s face was all over the city as a wanted person. A girl who worked in the house where all the circus people live was reporting Mok Dan to Kang To. She’s doing it for the commission money the police mentioned in the announcement.

Kang To was searching the house and finally spotted Mok Dan. She was trying to flee with her acrobatic’s ability, but Kang To finally got her. She was interrogated in a tough way. The arrest of Mok Dan was actully Kang To’s plan to use her as the bait. Kang To brought Mok dan into the middle of a market. He was going to execute the girl in front fo everyone in the market when he noticed that his snipers were all gone. Gaksital was coming.

Gaksital brought the girl away, meanwhile the police was blocked by the angry market vendors. He dropped Mok Dan in the regular place he dropped her after saving her. It’s in the middle of the woods. Mok Dan, who already fell for the mysterious Gaksital, was trying to make him speak, at least to tell her his name. But Gaksital stayed quiet and just left.

Gaksital stopped at a big tree. He looked far and then opened his mask. Apparently Gaksital was Kang San.
